Shadow box

Hi friends,

I have made a shadow box for my nephew’s baby. A photo will be added as well as all the relevant birth details. This would also be great for a scrapbook page.

The card for the name, photo and information is Pacific Point (#116202) and Pearlescent Specialty Paper (#154291). I have used the Gold from the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper (#156844) for the seahorse & large fish. The octopus was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) & heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

For everything else I have used all retired stamps, dies, foils and designer series paper. The dies are Sea Life, Under The Sea and Stitched Nested Labels. The stamp sets are Seas The Day and Sea Of Textures. The DSP is Waves Of the Ocean.

Sea Of Textures

Hi friends,

Today’s card is another highlighting some retiring products.

The base card is Merry Merlot (#147005) and the cardfront is Very Vanilla (#106550). I stamped the cardfront with 2 images from the Sea Of Textures stamp set (#c151267) using Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102) and Crumb Cake (#121685). I embossed the Very Vanilla card with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder (#151775). The octopus was stamped with Merry Merlot ink (#147112). The dies from the Under The Sea (#146334) cut the octopus, net and seaweed. I used the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper (#151252) for the net and seaweed. Both these papers have a fine pattern which I thought looked great for these. The Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309) was used to attach the net and seaweed, and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) for the octopus. The sentiment is from the Stitched All Around stamp set (#151287), stamped with Merry Merlot ink and I used the die from the Merry Christmas Dies (#147912) to cut it.

The retiring products are Sea Of Textures stamp set, Under the Sea dies, Tropical Oasis DSP, Stitched All Around stamp set, Merry Christmas Dies.

Sea Of Textures with Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack

Welcome friends,

I have used one of the beautiful laser-cut cards from the Come Sail Away Memories & More (#149552) for the card front.

I attached this to the Seaside Spray base card (#150889) using the Fine -Tip Glue Pen (#138309). I stamped the octopus from the Sea Of Textures stamp set (#c151267) using Night Of Navy ink (#147110). This was then cut with the co-ordinating die from Under The Sea Dies (#146334), then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). “Happy Birthday” is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set (#c151240) and also stamped with Night Of Navy ink on Whisper White card (#106549). I cut this with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#148551). I used Night Of Navy card (#106577) for the banners under the sentiment.

With beautiful products it doesn’t take a lot of work to get a lovely card like this one.
