To A Wild Rose

Welcome,

These flowers are from the To A Wild Rose stamp set (#149452) and is a Two-step stamp which allows you to stamp 2 images in different colours. This flower also has a 3rd image which I didn't use as I just let the Basic White card (#159228) be the background, instead of stamping a lighter 3rd colour.

The pink flower was stamped with Magenta Madness ink (#153117). The lighter colour was achieved by ‘stamping off” once onto scrap paper then stamping on the card. The purple flower was stamped with Highland Heather ink (#147103) and Gorgeous Grape (#147099). These flowers were cut with the co-ordinating Wild Rose dies (#149547).

The leaves are from the Forever Fern stamp set (#153559), stamped with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) and cut with a Forever Flourishing Die (#152714).

The base card and card front are Basic White and I dry embossed the card front with a Meadow Moments Embossing Folder (#153126). There are 2 folders in this set and are suitable for use in the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (#150673).

I cut the Rainbow Glimmer Paper (#153056) and the Brass Foil Sheet (#153057) with a Curvy Die (#154319).

“Congratulations” is from the Vine Design stamp set (#154488) and the die to cut this is from the Flowering Vine Dies (#154332). This was stamped with Magenta Madness ink. The pink flower and sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The current annual catalogue will be coming to an end on 3rd May and the retiring list will be available soon, so keep an eye out for that. I will let you know when it is available.

Have a great day and I hope you are keeping safe & dry if you are in any of the very wet areas in Australia.

“Love what you do and share what you love.”

To A Wild Rose

Welcome friends,

Here’s another stamp set which I haven’t used for some time, don’t know why, as the roses are beautiful.

The stamp set is To A Wild Rose (#c149452). I stamped one rose with Gorgeous Grape (#147099) and Highland Heather (#147103). This is a 2 step stamp, so I stamped the outline with Gorgeous Grape, the second layer with Highland Heather then the background layer with Highland Heather which I stamped off for that lighter image. This was then cut with the co-ordinating die from the Wild Rose Dies (#149547). Then I stamped the Bermuda Bay rose onto the card front. The outline was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#147096), the next layer with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097), then the 3rd layer with stamped off Coastal Cabana ink. I used the die to cut out the rose to cut a piece of post-it notes and used this as a mask over the Bermuda Bay rose. This allowed me to stamp the next rose without it stamping over the top of the other rose. I used Crushed Curry ink (#147087) for the outline, then So Saffron ink (#147109) for the 2nd layer and stamped off So Saffron for the background. I then embossed the Whisper White card (#106549) with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder (#151775). This was attached to the Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) then Purple Posy card (#150887). The purple flower was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Whisper White 5/8” Flax Ribbon (#148764) was attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the sentiment was also attached with Dimensionals. Happy Birthday is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#c151595), stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink then cut with a Stitched So Sweetly die (#151690). The embellishments are 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots (#149607.

Stay safe & keep crafting!
