Flowering Flourishes and Papillon Potpourri

Hello

In my last blog I said the Open sea was one of my favourite stamp sets. Because I love butterflies, Papillon Potpourri is another of my favourite sets, as well as Flowering Flourishes, and I have used both of these on this card.

The colours used are Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White. The larger butterfly was stamped with Real Red ink onto real Red card, then a smaller butterfly was mounted on top with a Stampin' Dimensional. The punches used for the butterflies are the Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly. The ribbon is Real Red Stitched Grosgrain. Happy Birthday Wishes is from the Petite Pairs stamp set.

  1. Those two sets go together beautifully. I love the Open Sea to, as you know. Was playing with Papillion Butterflies last night, colouring randomly and misting with water before stamping directly to Whisper White. They turned out so nice. I do love the monocolour cards too.
