Candle decorating

Hello again,

I didn't realize how easy it is to decorate a candle.

Stamp your image onto a piece of white tissue paper. Cut around the image to remove the excess tissue paper, but you don't have to be too fussy. Place the stamped tissue paper onto the candle, then wrap a piece of waxed paper around the candle and hold firmly. This keeps the image in the correct position as well as being able to hold the candle. Using the heat gun, heat till the white colour of the tissue paper disappears. It doesn't take long. Remove the waxed paper, and the image is on the candle. How simple is that!!! I will be making lots more of these. What a great easy gift.

I used Rich Razzleberry (#126950) and Gumball Green inks (#126861). To decorate around the base I used the Rich Razzleberry from the Brights Colour Collection DSP Stack (#130134) with the Scallop Trim Border punch (#118402). I then added a piece of Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain ribbon (#126876). The stamp set is Everything Eleanor (#124164).

Thought for the day-

That's all for today,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.

  1. Hi Lesley! Your candle is beautiful. Hope you have had a good Christmas and New Year. We're just now getting back to some sort of normal routine but still have some more family commitments. Looking forward to seeing you one day soon!
