Hexagon punch soccer ball

Hello ladies,

I needed a card for our 6 year old grandson for his birthday. He loves sport and I remembered seeing a soccer ball sometime ago made with the hexagon punch, so thought it was just perfect for his card. I am sure he will love it.

I cut a piece of Basic Black card (#121688) using one of the Framelits from the Circles Collection (#130911). Then I punched the hexagons with the Hexagon Punch (#130919) and placed them on the black circle. I then re-cut the circle with the same size Framelit to cut off the extra pieces of the hexagons. You could hand cut them as well. I used Hello Honey card (#133685) for the base card, which I embossed with the Honeycomb folder (#129378). Happy Birthday is from the Tag Talk stamp set (#c134252, #w134249) and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) then punched with the coordinating Label Bracket punch (#132153).
When I attached the ball to the card I used Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). To try to give a rounded look, I put 2 Dimensionals on top of each other in the centre and I layer around the outside.

Another weekend is almost over. I hope you have had an enjoyable one.

Till next time ,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.
