I love having new products to play with, so today it was the Gift Bag Punch Board (#135862) to make some beautiful gift bags.
I used DSP from the Lullaby DSP (#133695) for the larger bag. (This DSP is retiring). The gift bags can be made in a variety of sizes and this is the largest which starts at 12" x12". All the information is included on the board on how to make the bag. The banners are made with the new Banner Triple punch (#138292). This allows you to make the 3 different sizes of banners with one punch. All you need to do is cut card to 1", 1-1/2" and 2" wide and then punch the end. The card for the banners are Mint Macaron (#138344), Watermelon Wonder (#138341) and Crushed Curry (#131288). The flower has been made using the new Cotton Paper Assortment (#138308). This is a lightweight but sturdy paper and beautiful for making flowers. The flower is made from the Bouquet Bigz L (#137367) using the 2 smallest petals. The taffeta ribbon is also retiring. Happy Birthday is from one of the new hostess sets - Happy Birthday Everyone (#c149958, #w139171) and stamped on Whisper White card (#106549) using Watermelon Wonder ink (#138323).
The smaller bag is made using the Bohemian DSP (#138446). I cut the paper to 10" x 10" paper for this one. The stars are cut using the stars Framelits (#133723) with Very Vanilla card (#106550) and Island Indigo card (#126986). For You from Tag Talk stamp set (#c134252, #134249) has been stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#131173) and punched with the Label Bracket punch (#132153). The Gold Metallic Bakers Twine (#132975) was used to tie the bag.
The Gift Bag punch board will make 3 different width bags and I have made the large and small bags. The finished heights can be varied from 2-3/4" to 10-3/4".
