Hi,
Today I have been making a variety of wallets. These are great when you are wanting to give someone a card and include money or a gift voucher.
The measurements for the Very Vanilla card (#106550) are : 22.5cm x 9cm for the outside card
21.5cm x 8cm for the inside
10cm x6.5cm for the left hand side
10cm x 5cm and 10cm x3cm for the right hand side
The 2 longer pieces are folded in half. I did some paper piercing on the smaller pieces, then using the So Saffron Stampin' Write marker from the Subltles Collection (#131263), I drew the "stitches". I used the Decorative Label punch (#120907) to cut the piece from card that will be on the left side of the wallet. I taped a piece of Window Sheet (#142314) behind this cut out. I sponged the edges of all of the pieces with So Saffron ink (#126957) then repeated with Crumb Cake ink (#126975) as I was trying to get more of a gold colour and this worked well. Each of the pieces were attached with the Tear &Tape Adhesive (#138995). Remember when taping these pieces, don't put tape on the top edges.
Now to the front, I stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Embossed with the Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109129) using an image from Timeless Textures stamp set (#c140517, #w140514). The flower is cut from Elegant Eggplant card (#108614) using a Thinlit from the Flourish Thinlits (#141478).
The leaves and buds are cut from the Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) using the same Thinlits. These were all glued to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). I added a gold Metallic Enamel Shape (#141678) to the centre of the flower. Celebrate is from the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set (#p140273), and stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink (#126969). The ovals were cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706) and attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).
Here are some of the other wallets I made-
That's all for today.
Have a great weekend.
Happy Stamping!
