Sketched Butterflies

 Hello friends,

I love butterflies, so I’m sad to see the Sketched Butterflies Bundle (#163492) retiring.

I stamped the butterfly from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set  (#163490) with Berry Bust ink (#147143). The butterflies were cut with the Sketched Butterflies dies (#163491). For the smaller butterflies I used Bubble Bath card (#161727). The die to cut these cut 3 butterflies all joined together, so I cut them for single butterflies.

I used a die from the Linked Together dies (#164808) to cut the lattice, then randomly cut pieces off so it wasn't a rectangle. This Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393) used for the lattice was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406) and matted with the Berry Burst card (#144249).

The sentiment is from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set and also using Berry Burst ink. This was cut with an Autumn Leaves die (#162185).

The leaves are also cut with dies from the Linked Together dies, using Lost Lagoon card (#133686) and Pool Party card (#124391). Both of these cards were backed with Adhesive Sheet.

The lattice & leaves were attached to the card front by removing the backing of the adhesive sheet. The butterflies and sentiment were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the stamped butterfly. Some inks will “bleed” when using the Clear Wink Of Stella which it has slightly on this butterfly but gives a lovely soft pink colour.

The embellishments are from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems (#165615).

The other retiring products used are Autumn Leaves dies, Linked Together dies and the Timber embossing folder.

Thoughtful Designs Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hello friends,

I am always looking at ways to use bits & pieces of Designer Series Paper, so here is a quick and easy card using the Thoughtful Designs Specialty DSP (#163317). This is a 12”x12” paper with a soft graduation of colours with a Pearlised finish.

I cut each piece of DSP 8.5cm x 3cm and taped them to the Basic Black card (#121688). This was then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I cut the detailed leaf from the Flowers Of Beauty dies (#163375) using Silver Foil (#163387) backed with Adhesive Sheets (#152334). This was attached to the card. This die set is retiring.

The sentiment from the Unbounded Love stamp set (#163378) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I added the Silver powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). A Mixed Labels die (#164652) was used to cut the sentiment. Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach it to the card.

The trio of Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments (#164223) were added to finish the card.

Terrific Toadstools Bundle

 Hi & welcome,

The Terrific Toadstools Bundle (#164790) is retiring but the individual stamp set & punch will still be available in the new Annual Catalogue. Just a tip, if you would like this bundle, you would be wise to order it before 5th May, as after this date the stamp set & punch will increase in price as it’s no longer offered as a bundle, so no discounted price.

I stamped the toadstools from the Terrific Toadstool stamp set (#164783) using Pumpkin Pie ink (#147086), Crushed Curry ink (#147087) and Pecan Pie ink (#161665). The stalks were stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#147116).

“Happy Birthday” is from the So Sincere stamp set (#162283) and stamped with Old Olive ink (#147090).  A Delicate Forest die (#162679) was used to cut the sentiment.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#166781) with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder (#154317) and matted it with the Old Olive card (#106576). A strip of the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162616) was attached to the card front.

The toadstools were punched with the Terrific Toadstools Builder Punch (#164789). The larger stalk needs to be fussy cut. The “grass” was cut with a die from the Impressions Abloom dies (#165610) which will be available from 6th May. I used Old Olive card.

The toadstools, grass and sentiment were all attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) added shimmer to the Toadstools.

Flowers Of Beauty

 Hello again friends,

Again I am using retiring products - Flowers Of Beauty Bundle (#163376) and the Linked Together dies (#164808)

Check all the retiring products in the Last Chance productshttps://www.stampinup.com.au with some great discounts on many of the products. Just a little tip, sometimes it may be better value to buy a stamp set & die separately rather than the bundle in the Last Chance Products.

The card front was dry embossed with the Birch Wood Embossing Folder (#164069) and matted with Flirty Flamingo card (#141421), then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I stamped the flowers from the Flowers Of Beauty stamp set (#163374) with Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052) and the leaves were stamped with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095). The flowers, stamped leaves and the Lemon Lime Twist (#144250) leaves were cut with the Flowers Of Beauty dies (#163375).

A die from Linked Together was used to cut the Silver Foil (#163387). This was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). After cutting with the die, just peel off the backing and attach it to the card.

The die cut leaves and flowers were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the stamped leaves with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Happy Birthday” from Simply Said stamp set (#163756) was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink and cut with a Delicate Forest die (#162679). This die set is also retiring. The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are from the Adhesive-Backed Pearl Trio (#163319). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the flowers.

Kiss Of Texture stamp set

 Hi friends,

Another retiring product is the Kiss Of Texture stamp set (#164759) which is where this floral image is from.

I stamped the floral image with Azure Afternoon ink (#161663) on Basic White card (#166781) and cut the images with 2 of the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580). I used a smaller die to cut the Azure Afternoon card (#161728).

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with the Cute Crochet Embossing Folder (#163792) - (retiring),  and matted with Azure Afternoon card, then attached to the Basic White base card.

“Congratulations” is from the More Messages stamp set (#165471). This has a variety of sentiments on one stamp and has a co-ordinating die - More Messages die (#165472) which cut out all the sentiments at one time. You could also just ink one or 2 sentiments and still use the die.

I taped the smaller circle with the flowers to the card front, then used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) to attach the Azure Afternoon circle, and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the larger circle.

The sentiment was attached to the strip of Azure Afternoon card then taped on top of the floral image.

I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the flowers to add some glimmer. I added White Pearlised Enamel Effects Basics (#156310) to the berries of the stamped images, and the dots from Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix (#164618) were glued to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

Birthday Celebration dies

 Hello,

Firstly, I wish you all a very Happy Easter. As I have family here for the weekend I will be back in a few days so I can spend time with them.

I stamped on the Basic White card front (166781) with the Painted Stripes background stamp (#165437) using VersaMark (#102283), then added White powder from the Wow! Basics Stampin’ Embossed Powder (#165697). This was set with the Heat Tool  (#129056). Then, using a Blending Brush (#153611) with Melon Mambo ink (#147051) I coloured the card front. This was matted with Melon Mambo card (#119980) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The hearts were cut with the Adoring Hearts dies (#162569) from Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper (#164919) and Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). I taped 2 of the hearts to the card and the middle one was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The banner & the numbers were cut with the Birthday Celebration Dies (#164598). The numbers were also from the Gold Foil Sheet backed with Adhesive Sheet.

“Happy Anniversary” from the Layers Of Beauty stamp set (#163514) was stamped with VersaMark with Gold from the Wow! Metallics Embossing Powders (#165678), and set with the Heat Tool.

The banner was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I added the Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs (#161954).

Adventurous Sky Bundle

 Hi everyone,

Another retiring product is the Adventurous Sky Bundle (#163447) which consists of the Adventurous Sky stamp set (#163439) and the Adventurous Sky dies (#163446).

I stamped the plane and sentiment from the stamp set with Night Of Navy ink (#147110) onto Basic White card (#166781) and cut with dies from the Adventurous Sky dies.

I cut the circles with dies from the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580) using Night Of Navy card (#106557), Misty Moonlight card (#153086) and Basic White card.

The Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper (#163436) was matted with Night Of Navy card and attached to the Basic White base card.

I taped 3 circles to the card front then used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) for the larger circle under the plane. The plane was attached with tape where it sits on the larger circle and Dimensionals to the right side. The sentiment was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The propellers were cut with the dies using Silver Foil Sheet (#163387) and attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Lovely & Sweet

 Hi again,

The Lovely & Sweet stamp set (#162617) and Lovely & Sweet dies (#162626) are retiring so wanted to highlight them today.

I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#166781). This is the new code for Basic White card as mentioned yesterday.

I coloured this with Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends (#161674), Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends (#154902), Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends (#161680) and the retiring Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends (161661). A die from the Lovely & sweet dies was used to cut this image.

I stamped on the Soft Sea Foam card (#154902) with the cross hatch stamp from the same stamp set, using Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). This is very light so may not be very clear on the photo. The Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162616) was attached to the card front.

“Happy Birthday” from the Year Of Flowers stamp set (#165367) was stamped with the retiring Pebbled Path ink (#161648) and cut with a Lovely & Sweet die.

The sentiment and stamped image was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The embellishments are retired Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots.

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the leaves & flowers.

Labelled With Love

 Hello again friends,

I am using mostly retiring products on this card today. The flowers & sentiment are from the Labelled With Love stamp set (#163564) which is retiring.

I stamped the leaves with Wild Wheat ink (#161651), then stamped the flowers with Moody Mauve ink (#161649). These are 2 of the 5 In Colors that are retiring.

I cut a triangle piece of Moody Mauve card (#161732) - (retiring) and dry embossed this with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder (#164695), then attached it to the Basic White card front (#159228). The edges were daubered with Moody Mauve ink then I taped it to the Basic White base card.

I stamped the outline for the sentiment with Wild Wheat ink and “Happy Birthday” was stamped with Moody Mauve ink. I cut this with a Labelled with Love die (#163570). This die is retiring but there is a Labelled With Love punch (#163559) which is exactly the same and will be still available.

I cut the detailed leaf with a retiring Cheerful Daisies Die (#161296) using Wild Wheat card (#161734) - (retiring), backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). This was attached to the card and the sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The trio of embellishments are from the Blooming Pearls (#162238) and these are also retiring.

The Basic White cardstock is still available but with a new code number - #166781, so from now on I will be using this number as there is no stock available using the original number.

Along These Lines stamp set

 Hello friends,

This cute puppy & heart are from the Along These Lines stamp set (#165352). I thought it co-ordinated well with the sentiment from the Blooming Phrases stamp set (#165523) with the line art. These are in the upcoming catalogue and Online Exclusives available from the 6th May.

I stamped the puppy & heart with VersaMark (#102283) onto a piece of Shaded Hues 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#166260). This DSP is retiring. I added the Copper powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678) and set this with the Heat Tool (#129056). This DSP was then dry embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317).

The frames are cut with a die from the Gallery Blooms dies (#165212). This die cuts 2 sized frames at the same time. So I cut the Bright Copper from the Metallics 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#163772) and used the larger frame, then the Coastal Cabana card (#131302) for the smaller frame. I then stamped the sentiment from the Blooming Phases stamp set and this was also heat embossed with Copper.

I attached the frames to the stamped DSP, then attached them to the Very Vanilla card base (#106550). I added the Sunny Day Iridescent Dots (#164696) to the card

Sentimental Framing dies

 Hello crafty friends,

Today I have a sneak peek of some new products available from the 6th May both from the Online Exclusives and the new 2025/26 Catalogue.

I cut the frame from the gorgeous Sentimental Framing dies (#165476) using Secret Sea card (#165296). This is one of the new 2025-2027 In Colors.

The leaf was cut using a Beautiful Motifs die (#165205). This was cut from the Beautiful Gallery 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#165196). The colour of this side of the DSP is Cloud Cover, another new in-color.

I glued the die cut frame to the Basic White card base (#159228) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I also attached the inside piece, that cuts out with the frame, to the card as I wanted the darker colour showing under the leaves. I then attached the die cut leaves.

“ Thinking Of You” is from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set (#165198) and this was stamped with the Secret Sea ink (#165285). I used the More Messages die (#165472) to cut the sentiment. This is one die which cuts out 19 different labels and co-ordinates with the More Messages stamp (#165471) which has 19 different sentiments. So versatile. The sentiment was attached with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals (#150893).

The embellishments are from the 2025-2027 In Colours Flat Pearls (#165192)

Glass & Gardens Embossing Folders

 Hello friends,

The Glass & Gardens Embossing Folders (#165597) consists of 2 folders and these are the narrower folders which can be used with the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Embossing Machine (#150673).

After embossing the Basic White card (#159228) with the flowers and using the de-embossed side, I coloured this with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611) using the Stampin’ Brayer (#162936). I dry embossed the Basic White card front with the other embossing folder and matted it with Petunia Pop card (#163802).

I used one of the Fancy Borders dies (#165380) to cut the Petunia Pop card and attached it to the floral embossed card, then attached it to the card front.

The butterfly from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set (#163490) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I added the White from the Wow! Basics Embossing Powder (#165679) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The butterfly was cut with a Sketched Butterflies die (#163491).

The sentiment is also from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set using Petunia Pop ink then cut with a Year Of Flowers die (#165374). The sentiment & butterfly was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the butterfly & flowers. The embellishments are the Antique Pearls (#164679) which I coloured with Petunia Pop Stampin’ Blends (#163828).

Perennial Postage dies

 Hi friends,

I used the Perennial Postage dies (#162607) to cut the sentiment and the coloured card.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder (#164695) and matted it with Basic Black card (#121688). This was attached to the Basic White base card.

The coloured cards are Daffodil Delight (#121680), Pumpkin Pie (#108601), Azure Afternoon (#161728) and Real Red (#106578).

The flowers from the Year Of Flowers stamp set (#165367) were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). These were cut with the co-ordinating Year Of Flowers dies (#165374). When the flowers are stamped it includes a different month of the year for each flower. This is actually cut off when using the dies. A great tip when matching the dies with the stamp is the dies have a number on it corresponding to the month, i.e. January has number 1, February has number 2 etc.

I glued the flowers to the coloured card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

The sentiment is from the same stamp set. This was also cut with a Perennial Postage die. However there isn't one the size I wanted, so I cut it as shown below by cutting 3 sides, then repositioning the die to cut the other side.

I matted the sentiment with Basic Black card. This and the coloured cards were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The retired Dragonfly Trinkets were added to complete the card.

Sketched Butterflies

 Hello again,

The Sketched Butterflies stamp set (#163490) and the Sketched Butterflies dies (#163491) are retiring, so I have used them on today’s card.

I stamped the larger butterfly and the sentiment with Petunia Pop ink (#163811). All the butterflies were cut with the Sketched Butterfies dies. I used Petunia Pop card (#163802) for the other 2 butterflies.

I dry embossed the Basic White card (#159228) with one of the 2 Glass & Gardens embossing folders (#165597). I matted this card with Bubble Bath card (#161727), then wrapped a retired Bubble Bath Ribbon around the card front. This was attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment was cut with a die from the Unbounded Love dies (#163383). The sentiment and butterflies were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).
