Hello again my crafty friends,
These birds are from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set (#164184) and cut with the Winterly Tree Tops dies (#164065). This stamp set & dies are retiring. I like to use some of the retiring products before they are gone.
I stamped the image with Basic Gray ink (#149165) onto Basic White card (#159228). The birds were coloured with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883) and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends (#154958) for the beaks. The branches were coloured with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends (#154882). I used the Real Red from the Pearlised Enamel Effects Basics (#156310) for the berries. This does take some time to dry so I usually do this after the card is completed then put aside to dry so it doesnt get damaged.
I dry embossed the Basic White card front with the Corrugated Embossing Folder (#165559) and attached a piece of the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper (#163284) to the left side. This was matted with Garden Green card (#108605). I wrapped the Gold Trim from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack (#161633) around the card front.
The hexagons were cut with the Meant To Bee dies (#166582). I used Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and Garden Green card. Each of these hexagon dies cuts a “frame” plus a solid hexagon. I used the “frame” from the Gold Foil and the solid part from the Garden Green card. The gold “frame” was attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I dry embossed the Garden Green hexagon with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406).
“Happy Birthday” from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set (#164608) was stamped with Garden Green ink (#147089), then cut with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183).
The birds & sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I added some Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the birds.
