Spotlight On Nature

Hi friends,

The Spotlight On Nature stamp set (#163579) has been used for the 3 stamped images on this card.

I stamped the butterfly, floral image and leaves with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#166781). These were coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Granny Apple Green (#154885), Pretty In Pink (#163824) and Daffodil Delight (#154883). All these images were fussy cut.

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder (#163789). This was double matted with Basic Black card (#121688) and Pretty In Pink card (#163794).

The leaves were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The flowers & butterfly were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

I wrapped the Pretty In Pink Bordered Ribbon (#163784) around the card front, then attached to the Basic White base card.

“Happy Birthday” from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I fussy cut this as well and attached it with Mini Glue Dots.

Artistic Leaves stamp set

Hi everyone,

The Artistic Leaves stamp set (#166162) is a Two Step stamp which allows you to stamp 2 images in different colours for a lovely effect. This is also a distinctive stamp set which also gives you a variation in colour with just one stamp and ink. You can use the main stamped image alone or add the second image for extra dimension.

I stamped the 2 larger leaves with Crushed Curry ink (#147087), for the main part of the leaves, then for the second stamped image I used Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102) on the top one and Peach Pie ink (#163810) on the other. For the smaller leaves I stamped 2 with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083) and the other with Cajun Craze ink (#147085). Peach Pie ink and Soft Sea Foam ink were used for the second stamp colours. These leaves were fussy cut.

The Designer Series Paper from Country Woods (#163393) was attached to the Crushed Curry card (#131288). The sentiment is also from the Artistic Leaves stamp set and I used Crushed Curry ink. A Happy Hibiscus die (#164879) was used to cut the sentiment.

The 2 larger leaves and sentiment were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). Mini Glue dots (#103683) were used to attach the small leaves. I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add glimmer to all the leaves.

Spotlight On Nature Bundle

Hi friends,

The Spotlight On Nature Bundle (#163581) consists of the Spotlight On Nature stamp set (#163579) and the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580). The dies are a variety of circles with decorative edges and don’t cut the images in the stamp set. This makes the dies very versatile for use with such a variety of stamps, designer papers etc.

I stamped the floral image and butterfly with Tuxedo Black ink (#132708) and the leaf image with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111). The flowers were coloured with Pretty In Pink Stampin’ Blends (#163824) and the leaves with Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends (#154902). I didn’t add any extra colour to the leaves stamped with Mossy Meadow ink. The butterfly was coloured with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. The butteryfl, leaves and floral image were fussy cut.

“Just For You” from So Sincere stamp set (#162283) was stamped with Pretty In Pink ink (#163807). The sentiment, Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) and Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) were all cut with the Spotlight On Nature dies.

The base card is from the Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes (#162177). The 2 larger circles were taped together the taped to the card base. The floral image & butterfly were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The other leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). With the Mossy Meadow leaves I cut the 3 leaves on the right & top off the other leaves and added them separately.

The embellishments are from the Adhesive-Backed Dappled Dots (#163353). As usual I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add glimmer to the flowers & butterfly.

Nests Of Winter Designer Series Paper

Hello friends,

I have fussy cut these cute little birds from the Nests Of Winter Designer Series Paper (#164183).

The background is from the same DSP pack and matted with Garden Green card (#108605). This was taped to the Basic White base card (#159228).

“Birthday Wishes” from the Simply Said stamp set (#163756) was stamped with Garden Green ink (#147089).

Using a die from the Regal Flora dies (#164033), I cut the sentiment and the Garden Green card which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). I used the “frame” from the green card and attached it to the card front. The sentiment was taped to the card.

The birds were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The embellishments are from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive Backed Dots (#164204).

There are other birds in this DSP which can be cut with the co-ordinating Winterly Tree Tops dies (#164065).

Inspirational Sketches

Welcome everyone,

The bird & flowers on today’s card are from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set (#162684).

The bird was stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110) and the flowers with Crushed Curry ink (#147087). Both these images were fussy cut (there aren’t any dies to cut them).

I dry embossed Basic White card (#159228) with the Eyelet Embossing Folder (#163414), then cut 1.5” squares and attached them to the Silver Foil card (#163387). This was matted with Night Of Navy card (#106577) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The flowers were taped to the card and I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the bird.

“Happy Birthday” from the Translucent Florals Stamp set (#162243) was stamped with Night Of Navy ink. The sentiment and the Night Of Navy card under the sentiment were cut with Stylish Shapes dies (#159183) and attached to the card with Mini Stampn’ Dimensionals (#144108). The embellishments are Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems (#161288).

Spotlight On Nature

Hello again,

Today I have done a stepped up version of yesterday’s card.

I stamped the flowers and butterfly from the Spotlight On Nature stamp set (#163579) with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). These were coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Poppy Parade (#154958), Summer Splash (#163826) and Daffodil Delight (#154883). These images were then fussy cut.

I stamped the lines on the background with an image from the Textured Timber stamp set (#163656) using Basic Beige ink (#163806). The DSP is from the Full Of Life 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#163357). The card front was matted with Basic Black card (#121688) and Poppy Parade card (#121694). The Real Red & Gold Dotted Ribbon (#162353) was wrapped around the card front then attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment is from the Everyday Details stamp set (#162861) and this was stamped with Poppy Parade ink. The circles were cut with the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580).

The flowers, butterfly and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). Sparkle was added to the card with the Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems (#161288) and Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).

Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper

Hello friends,

Here is another super easy card, this time using the Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper (#161534).

I used one of the Brilliant Background dies (#161591) for the “stitched” effect on the Boho Blue card (#161733). This was then dry embossed with the Cascading Ruffles 3D Embossing Folder (#159169) but I used it horizontally on the card for a wave effect.

I attached a piece of the DSP to the Boho Blue card (#161733) and this was matted with Night Of Navy card (#106577). The base card is Basic White (#159228).

I fussy cut the 4 fish from one of the designs of the DSP. I shaped them with a bone folder to give them a curve and attached them to the card. I attached Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) along the centre of the fish with 2 Dimensionals on top of each other ( to stop them flattening out). I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the fish for that bit of sparkle.

“Best Wishes” from Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) was stamped with Boho Blue ink (#161650) and cut with a die from All That dies (#159078). Stampin’ Dimensionals were also used to attach the sentiment.

Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper

Hi friends,

A super easy card using the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper (#161322). There is a bundle (Let’s Go Shopping #161333) which co-ordianates with this paper but I haven’t used it on this card.

These images were fussy cut from the DSP. You can use the images separately or stack them on top of each other or make a streetscape. So many possibilities. There are 2 different images used here for the shops.

I dry embossed the Crumb Cake card (#121685) with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (#161600) and attached it to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). The shops and one pot plant were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used for the second pot plant.

The sentiment is from a the Translucent Florals stamp set (#162243) which will be available when the next mini catalogue is released. As a demonstrator I was able to get this beautiful set early and will show you some cards over the next few weeks. I stamped this with Calypso Coral ink (#147101) and cut it with one of the Nested Essentials dies (#161597). Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) were used to attach this to the card.

As I said - super easy!!

Adorable Owls

Hello,

Another cute card with the adorable owls from the Adorable Owls stamp set (#160269) which is one of the Sale-a-bration products.

I stamped the owl 3 times using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). I coloured them with Stampin’ Blends - Petal Pink (#154893), 600 from the Medium Natural Tones (#159462), Balmy Blue (#154830) and Pumpkin Pie (#154897). These were the fussy cut.

I used the By The Sea Designer Series Paper (#160434) and dry embossed this with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317) & then matted it with Balmy Blue card (#147007) and attached to the Basic White base card.

“It’s Your Day” is also from the Adorable Owls stamp set and stamped with Balmy Blue Ink (#147105). The die to cut this is from the Cracker & Treat Box dies (#159182). This set has 5 different dies to cut labels which are very handy to have.

The sentiment was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and the owls with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). As usual I had to add some Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) whichI did to the darker parts of the owls.
