Thoughtful Wishes

 Hello friends,

Another Sympathy card today. I like simple but elegant cards for sympathy cards like this one using the Thoughtful Wishes dies (#163313).

I cut the leafy image from the Gold from the Silver & Gold 12”x12” Adhesive-Backed Glimmer Paper (#162288). This was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228) which was dry embossed with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder (#164695). I matted this with Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and attached it to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment is from the retired Painted Glass stamp set. I love the elegance of this script. This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I added the Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678). The Heat Tool (#129056) was used to set the powder. I cut the sentiment with a Labelled With Love die (#163570). I daubered the edges with Wild Wheat ink (#161651) and attached the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The cross was cut with the retired Cross Of Hope dies, also using the Gold Glimmer Paper. The embellishments are the Low-Profile Dots (#164658).

Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper

Hello,

The weekend is here already. I don’t know where the weeks go.
I have used the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (#149592) for this card. I have previously done this technique by stamping images on the card so decided to use designer paper today.

I cut the designer series paper using the Stitched Rectangles Dies (#148551). I placed each dies onto the one piece of designer paper, so that the images all matched when they were put back together. I cut the Pineapple Punch card (#146994) slightly larger than each of the rectangles and matted the DSP onto the Pineapple Punch card. I attached the larger piece of matted DSP to the Whisper White card (#106549), then attached the next two layers with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Mossy Meadow Linen Thread which is part of the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack (#149485) was attached to the card and the sentiment was then added to the card. This sentiment is from the Painted Glass stamp set (#c148220) and stamped with Pineapple Punch ink (#147141). The Glitter Enamel Dots (#146934) were added to the label which was cut with a die from the Merry Christmas Dies (#147912).
The retiring products I have used on this card are the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, Painted Glass stamp set, Pineapple Punch card and ink, Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack and Glitter Enamel Dots.

Stay safe, keep crafting and have a great weekend.

Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper

Hello everyone,

With the lead up to the new catalogue in June, I have started to sort out some of my retiring products, so over the next couple of weeks I will try to use some of these products.

I chose two of the beautiful laser cut designs from the Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (#149611). One is a border design and the other is the size of the card. These were glued with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The sentiment from the Painted Glass stamp set (#c148220) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), which is set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I used the Pretty Label Punch (#143715) to punch the sentiment, then I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink (#147116). The fine leaves are cut from Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) with a Birthday Die (#152590) and attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The retiring products used here are the Laser -Cut Specialty Paper, Pretty Label punch, Painted Glass stamp set and Birthday Dies.

Check the full retiring list here for the annual catalogue and here for the mini catalogue.

Stay safe & keep crafting!!

Ornate Garden Suite

Welcome friends,

Again I am using products from the Ornate Garden Suite. There are so many to choose from.

The base card is Blueberry Bushel (#146991) and the card front is Whisper White (#106549). The Ornate Borders Dies (#152724) was used to cut the right side of the white card. I then embossed the rest of the card with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (#152725). The ribbon is Seaside Spray 1/4” Metallic Ribbon (#150446). The sentiment is from Painted Glass stamp set (#147461) and stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). This was cut with a Stitched So Sweetly Die (#151690) and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I stamped 3 small flowers from the Ornate Style stamp set (#152572) and fussy cut them and added Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) to the centre of the flowers.

Have a great weekend.

Peaceful Poppies Elements

Hello friends,

A very quick and easy card using the Peaceful Poppies Elements (#151327).

The Peaceful Poppies Elements have a range of die-cut printed accents, printed vellum, watercolour paper with poppy designs and some black elements like the label I used on this card. The card stock is Whisper White (#106549) and Poppy Parade (#121694). I stamped “Thank You” from the Painted Glass stamp set (#c148220) using Poppy Parade ink (#147050). I attached the elements using tape and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).
Yes, very quick and easy.
These elements could be used for a variety of projects and would be great on a scrapbook page. Will have to find some suitable photos.

Have a great day.

Lasting Elegance Dies

Welcome Ladies & Guys,

The Lasting Elegance Dies (#151475) were used to cut the detailed floral at the bottom of the card as well as the border at the top and sides. I love the elegance of these dies.

After the Whisper White card (106549) was cut with the dies, it was attached to the Blueberry Bushel base card (#146991). I stamped the birds from Free As A Bird stamp set (#c149468) using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). This was fussy cut and then coloured with Stampin’ Blends. The colours I used are Dark Crumb Cake (#144581), Old Olive Combo (#144597), Mango Melody combo (#147945), Mint Macaron Combo (#147283), Seaside Spray Combo (#149569), Calypso Coral Combo (#144045) and Purple Posy Combo (#149566). This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment is from Painted Glass stamp set (#148220) and stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). This and the Blueberry Bushel card underneath were cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (#151690). The Rhinestones are from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones (#149494).

Have a great day.

Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock

Hi,

The pack of Perennial Essence 12”x12” Vellum Cardstock (#149101) consists of 3 colours of translucent coloured Vellum in Old Olive, Petal Pink and So Saffron. Each of these colours have been used on this card.

I stamped the flower from the Floral Essence stamp set (#149450) using Blackberry Bliss ink (#147092) onto the Petal Pink Vellum. The ink takes a while to dry on this vellum, so it was a good chance to add the Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109130) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). If you don’t want to emboss this just leave it to dry or dry it with the heat tool. The flower was then fussy cut. I stamped the centre of the flower with So Saffron ink (#147109) onto So Saffron card (#108611) and also fussy cut it and attached it to the flower with a Mini Glue Dot (#103683). The green  leaves were punched with the Leaf Punch (#144667) from the Old Olive Vellum. The yellow leaves were cut with dies from the Detailed Peacock Dies (#149582) using the So Saffron vellum. I stamped the background on the Very Vanilla card (#106550) using images from the Artisan Textures stamp set (#c151278) and Delightful Day stamp set (#p149466) with So Saffron ink, Blackberry Bliss ink (#147092) - stamped off, Highland Heather ink (#147103) and Petal Pink ink (#147108). The Designer Series Paper is from the Perennial Essence DSP (#149100). The greeting from Painted Glass stamp set (#c148220) was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink. The base card is Blackberry Bliss (#133682).

Well, the weekend is here already. Have a great one.

Birch & Daisy Lane

Hi everyone,

The Daisy Lane stamp set (#c149325) is such a popular set and it makes such beautiful cards. I have used it again today.

The base card is Lovely Lipstick (#146993) and the cardfront is Whisper White (#106549). I stamped the Birch Background stamp (#c149256) on the bottom 2/3’s of the white card. I used Crumb Cake ink (#147116) for this. The greeting is from the Painted Glass stamp set (#c148220) and stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink (#147140), the corners of the cardfront were punched with the Detailed Trio Punch (#146320). The daisies were stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink and punched with the Medium Daisy Punch (#149517). Each flower consists of 2 daisies glued together with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). The Designer Elements (#149586) were added to each of the flower centres. These are adhesive backed metallic accents in 3 colours - antique copper, antique gold and antique silver. I used the silver ones. The leaves were stamped with Call Me Clover ink (#147139), then fussy cut. The middle daisy was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Enjoy your day.
