Poinsettia Place designer Series Paper

Hello,

If you are needing a card at the last minute this is a very easy one.

The base card is Garden Green (#108605) and the DSP is from the beautiful Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper (#153487). I cut a piece of the Copper Foil Sheet (#142020) and the Whisper White card (#106549) for the sentiment using the Ornate Layers Dies (#152726). I stamped “Merry Christmas” from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set (#153475) using Garden Green ink (#147089). I attached the copper foil cut out to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104435).

Well that was easy wasn’t it!

Don’t forget that there are many products retiring from the current Mini catalogue to make way for the new Mini catalogue which will be available from 5th January. Many of the retiring products are discounted and are only available while stocks last so don’t delay in placing an order today.

Here is the list of retiring products-

Have a fantastic day!

Ornate Layers Dies

Hi & welcome,

The Ornate Layers Dies (#152726) have been used for these beautiful ornate die cuts on this card.

The cut out on the Very Vanilla card (#106550) was done twice along the bottom of the card front. I attached a piece of the  Red Foil from the Red & Green Foil Sheets (#153510) to the Very Vanilla base card, then attached the card front on top. The Brushed Metallic 12”x12” cardstock was cut with another die from the Ornate Layers.
“Merry Christmas” from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set (#p153475) was stamped with Real Red ink (#147084) and cut with another die from the Ornate Layers dies. The sentiment was attached to the Brushed Metallic card, then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The poinsettia from the Poinsettia Petals Designer Series Paper (#153487) was cut with a co-ordinating die from the Poinsettia Dies (#153522) and also attached with Dimensionals. Isn’t it great when there are co-ordinating dies to cut images from Designer Paper. I coloured some Pearl Basic Jewels (#144219) using a Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend (#154883) and attached them to the flower.
As usual I couldn’t resist adding some sparkle on the poinsettia using the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897).

Enjoy your day!!

Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper

Welcome everyone,

I am loving all the Christmas products in the new August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue. One of my favourite suites is the Poinsettia Place suite and today I am using the beautiful designer paper.

I attached the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper (#153487) to the Very Vanilla Card front (#106550). I cut the leafy border using a die from the Birds & More dies (#152721) using the Gold Brushed Metallic 12”x12” Cardstock (#153524). This was glued to the card with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I daubered the edges of the cardfront with Garden Green ink (#147089) before attaching it to the Very Vanilla base card. I stamped the sentiment which can be found in the Wrapped In Christmas stamp set (#c153481) with VersaMark (#102283) and added the Gold Stampin’ emboss Powder (#109129) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was then cut with a Tasteful Labels Die (#1528860). (I matted this with Garden Green card which I cut with an electronic cutter). The bow from the Gift Wrapped stamp set (#153432) was also Gold heat embossed and fussy cut. I coloured the bow with So Saffron Stampin’ Blends (#154905), then added sparkle using the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897). The sentiment and the bow were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I added the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#150457) to the sentiment to finish the card.

I hope your weekend has been a relaxing one.

Poinsettia Petals Bundle sneak peek

Hello friends,

Here’s a sneak peek of some of the beautiful products from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue. I just love the Poinsettia Place Suite (#p155109). The suite consists of stamps, dies, embellishments, designer paper and ribbon.

The Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper (#153487) was attached to the Real Red card (#106578), then to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). I dry embossed a piece of the Red Velvet Paper (#153490) using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (#152725) and attached that to the bottom of the card. I wrapped the Real Red 3/8” Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon (#151155) around the card. The sentiment and poinsettias are stamped with images from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set (#153475). The sentiment is stamped with Real Red ink (#147084) and cut with a Stitched So Sweetly Die (#151820). I stamped the poinsettia images using VersaMark (#102283) onto the Red Velvet Paper (#153490) and added White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109132) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I wasn’t sure if this would work on the Velvet paper. The embossing powder became lighter as I heated it but I was very happy with the results. The flowers were cut with the Poinsettia Dies (#153522) and the layers were assembled using Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The Beaded Pearls (#153534) were added to the flower centre, also using glue dots. Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the poinsettia and sentiment.

Stay safe & keep crafting!!
