Wild Ferns

Hi my crafty friends,

The Wild Ferns stamp set (#162648) is where you will find the fern I used on today’s card.

The fern was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111) onto Basic White card (#159228). I cut this and the Mossy Meadow card with dies from the Nested Essentials (#161597).

The DSP for the card front is from the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162616). This was matted with Mossy Meadow card, then attached to the Basic White base card.

The 2 strips of DSP are from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393). “Happy Birthday” from the So Sincere stamp set (#162283) was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and cut with a die from the Delicate Forest dies (#162679).

The sentiment and fern were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are from the retired Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots.

Wild Ferns Bundle

Hi friends,

The Wild Ferns Bundle (#162655) used on today’s card consists of the Wild Ferns stamp set (#162648) and the Wild Ferns dies (#162654). The bundle will be retiring, however the stamp set and dies will still be available in the next catalogue, just not as a bundle. Some of these ferns bring back memories of when I was growing up and these ferns grew on various parts the farm.

I stamped the leaves with Old Olive ink (#147090), Garden Green ink (#147089), Cajun Craze ink (#147085 and Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083). These were all cut with the Wild Ferns dies.

I dry embossed a piece of Old Olive card (#106576) with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406) and punched the V’s at each end with a retired Triple Banner Punch. The Very Vanilla card front (#106550) was dry embossed with the Ferns 3D Embossing Folder (#158804). I wrapped the Burlap Ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack (#160386) around the card front and attached the card front to the Very Vanilla base card.

“Thinking Of You” is from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) and stamped with Old Olive ink. The sentiment and the Crumb Cake card (#121685) under the sentiment were cut with the Wild Ferns dies. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The ferns were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The retiring products are the Burlap Ribbon and the Go To Greetings stamp set.

Wild Ferns

Hello friends,

The Wild Ferns Bundle (#162655) has been used on today’s card with a combination of other products. I started with an idea of what I wanted the card to look like but just wasn't happy with it, so totally changed my idea and was happy with the final card.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) with the Ferns 3D Embossing Folder (#158804) and matted this with Pecan Pie card (#161726). This was attached to the Basic White base card.

The DSP is from the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162616) and I cut the “V” with a retired Banner punch.

The Gold Foil (#132622) was dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (#161600).

I stamped the fern from the Wild Ferns stamp set (#162648) using Pecan Pie ink (#161665). I cut this and the Pecan Pie card with the Perennial Postage dies (#162607) and these were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The detailed die cut fern was cut with a Wild Ferns die (#162654). The Pecan Pie card for this was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), so easily attached to the card.

“Happy Birthday” from the Inked & Tiled stamp set (#161158) was stamped with Pecan Pie ink and cut with another Wild Ferns die. I also cut the Pecan Pie card with the same die, cut it in half and attached it to the sentiment.
