Virtual Card Making Retreat

 Hi again,

Last weekend when I was away, Stampin’ Up! held a Virtual Card Making Retreat. I wasn't able to join at the time but it’s great that I can make the cards in the coming weeks. I have prepped all the kits and there was a lot of material left, so I am using one of the flower cut outs on this card.

I stamped the floral image from the stamp set onto the die cut card using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). This was coloured with Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends (#161675), Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends (#154902), Berry Burst Stampin’ Blends (#161681) & Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends (#161680).

The Bubble Bath card (#161727) was dry embossed with the So Swirly Embossing Folder (#163791), then matted with Berry Burst card (#144249) and Basic Black card (#121688).

The strip of Splash Of Sparkles Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167200) was matted with Berry Burst card and attached to the card front.

The floral image was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I used Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) for the leaves cut with the dies from the Fragrant Layers (#167154).

“Celebrate” is from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set (#165198) and stamped with Berry Burst ink. This was punched with the Three Banner punch (3167050) and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

 Hi friends,

Each month Stampin’ Up! now release a product of the month, so with a qualifying order ($125 in Australia) you can purchase it for $9. These are available while stocks last and will rollover if still available. I have used the True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper (#167970) and the Fabulous Sayings stamp set (#167972), both from the products of the month.

I attached the 3 strips of DSP to Balmy Blue card (#147007) then this was attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

“Thank you” from the stamp set was stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110) then cut with a Spotlight On Nature Die (#163580).

The leaves are cut with the Delicate Whispers dies (#167505) - soon to be released. I used Silver foil Sheet (#163387) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Traditional Sparkling Sequins (#165875) were added to the card.

Petals of Beauty Bundle

 Hi again my friends,

These flowers are from the Petals Of Beauty Bundle (#167096) which consists of the Petals Of Beauty stamp set (#167093) and the Petals Of Beauty dies (#167095).

The flowers are stamped with Berry Burst ink (#147143) for the outline image and Bubble Bath ink (#161664) for the lighter colour. These were then cut with the dies.

I cut the Bubble Bath card (#161727) with the dies from Beautifully Celebrated (#166974), then this card was dry embossed with the Beautiful Pattern embossing folder (#167097), then attached to the Berry Burst card (#144249). This was attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I stamped the leaves from the Beautifully Celebrated stamp set (#166968) using Pretty Peacock ink (#150083) on Lost Lagoon card (#133686). All the leaves were cut with the Beautifully Celebrated dies. The detailed leaves were cut from Pretty Peacock card (#150886) and Pool Party card (#124391). These were backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

The flowers were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and the stamped leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the flowers. The embellishments are from the Iridescent Faceted Gems (#163368).

Swirled Designs Bundle

 Hi again friends,

I am back in the craft room after a refreshing extended long weekend away. Today I have used the Swirled Designs Bundle (#167311) combined with the Natures Symphony dies (#166925).

I have used 4 of the images from the Swirled Designs stamp set (#167030) to stamp the Basic White card front (#166781). The inks used are Lost Lagoon (#161678), Pretty Peacock (#150083) and Secret Sea (#165285). I have used the Secret Sea stamped off for the “splatters”.

The detailed oval Silver Foil (#163387) pieces were cut with the Swirled Designs Dies (#167032). This foil was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) before cutting, then easily attached to the card.

The leaves were cut with a Natures Symphony Die (#166925). The Pretty Peacock card (#150886) for the leaves was also backed with Adhesive Sheet. I attached the Lost Lagoon (#133686) leaves with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Thank You” from the Heirlooms Arrangements kit (#165007) was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and cut with a Fragrant Layers die (#167154). This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Kits

 Hi again,

This will be the last of my quick & easy cards for now using the Heirlooms Arrangements Kit (#165007) and the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#164862).

The base card, flowers & banner are all from the kit and attached with a combination of Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683). “Congratulations” is from the Ephemera pack.

I just added the Flower Accents (#165171) to finish the card.

I will be back home tomorrow but might get back into the craft room till the following day. Had a great time in Bundaberg and the Turtle experience was fantastic. We saw a turtle laying her eggs - 129. I didn't realise they can lay up to 4-6 times during a season. We also had the opportunity to help relocate the eggs to a better place to ensure the best conditions for hatching.

Another Quick & Easy card

 Hello,

Another quick & easy card while away for a few days. I just brought the Heirlooms Arrangements Kit (#165007), Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#164862) and some embellishments. Very compact but giving me a variety of designs.

It’s so easy to mix and match all the elements from the kit, using as many or as few as you want for your cards. Just add a greeting and an embellishment and the card is finished. The adhesives used are tape, Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The dragonflies are from the Adhesive Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743).

Another Heirloom Arrangements card

 Hello again friends,

Here’s another card using the Heirloom Arrangements Kit (#16500) and the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#164862).

The base card, florals & butterfly are all from the kit. These were attached with tape & Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Happy Birthday” is from the Ephemera pack and also attached with Dimensionals. The small butterfly embellishment is from the Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136).

Using these 2 products - the kit and Ephemera pack it is so easy to make quick & easy cards and also great for beginners or all types of crafters. The kit does contain stamps, ink, adhesives and a block for the stamps as this kit is an all inclusive one.

Kits & Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack

 Hello again friends,

Kits are a great product for quick & easy cards and perfect to take away on holidays. I am using the Heirloom Arrangements Kit (#165007) again today with the sentiment from the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#164862).

The base card, floral image & frame are from the kit. I taped the frame to the base card and attached the floral image with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment was also attached with Dimensionals.

The embellishments are from the Iridescent Faceted Gems (#163368).

This kits comes with instructions for 8 cards, however I just done my own designs and will get more than 8 cards from all the images, with some extra bases.

I will be away for a few days and will take this kit with me so hopefully will get cards done while away.

Heirloom Arrangements kit

 Hi friends,

The Heirloom Arrangements Kit (#165007) has a beautiful range of images to make quick and easy cards. You can make very simple cards or be as creative as you like with the variety images in this kit.

I decided you use the Splash Of Sparkles Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167200) for the card front (instead of the card bases included in the kit). This was matted with Timid Tiger card (#165298) and attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

“Thank You” is also from the kit and I stamped this with Timid Tiger ink (#165278) and cut it with a Fragrant Layers die (#167154).

The sentiment, butterfly & floral image were attached with Stampin’ Dimensioanls (#104430). I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add glimmer to the flowers & butterfly.

Charming Day

 Hello again friends,

The Charming Day Bundle (#166136) is on the Last Chance products so still available while stocks last. Check out all the Last Chance products as there are many at discounted prices.

I dry embossed Basic White card (#166781) with the Stone & Vine Embossing folder (#166990). I then punch this several times with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch (#162888). These punched pieces were attached to a piece of Basic White card with a small gap between each piece. The card front was matted with Basic Black card (#121688), then Crushed Curry card (#13128). This was attached to the Basic White base card.

I stamped the flowers from Charming Day stamp set (#166126) with Memento Black Tuxedo Ink (#132708). The Stampin’ Blends used to colour these images are Daffodil Delight ($154883), Lost Lagoon  (#161680), Pool Party (#154894) and Pecan Pie (#161674). The floral images were cut with the Charming Day dies (#166135). These were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103863) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The die cut leaves were cut with the Charming days dies using Pool Party card (#124391). I attached these with Mini Glue Dots.

“Get Well Soon” was cut with the Mini Alphabet Dies (#162934) using Gold Foil Sheets (#132622). I glued these letters to the card. Normally I would use Adhesive Sheet but I find with the very embossed card, Glue is a better option, so I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (3141897) to add glimmer to the images and the embellishments are from the  Low Profile Sparkle Dots (#166157).

Petals Of Beauty Bundle

 Hello everyone,

I have used the flowers from Petals Of Beauty Bundle (#167096) to stamp onto Vellum Specialty Paper (#167099).

The flowers from the Petals Of Beauty stamp set (#167093) were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I added the Silver Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056) and the flowers were cut with the Petals Of Beauty dies (#167095). I coloured the inside of the flowers with Stampin’ Blends - Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Highland Heather (#154887) & Fresh Freesia (#155518).

I used Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) for the leaves which were cut with Fragrant Layers dies (#167154). The card was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

I stamped the “Happy Birthday” & “box” from the Addressed To You stamp set (#167010) using Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052) onto the Basic White card front (#166781). This was dry embossed with the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder (#167179) and matted with Flirty Flamingo card (#141421). The base card is Basic White.

The large flower was attached to the card with a Stampin’ Dimensioanl (#104430) and the small flowers with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The leaves were easily attached with the adhesive backs.

The clear dots from the Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes (#167005) were coloured with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883) before attaching them to the flower centres. Shimmer was added to the flowers using the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897).

Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape

 Hi friends,

The beautiful Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape (#165269) co-ordinates with the Extraordinary Flora Dies (#165244). This die cuts a variety of images in one go.

The patterns on the Washi tape alternate between pink & purple. I attached the Washi tape to Basic White card (#166781) before cutting with the die.

I used one of the labels from the Foiled Frames & Labels Ephemera Pack (#165616) to attach the flowers & leaves. These were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with the Beautiful Pattern 3D Embossing Folder (#167097), then it was matted with Strawberry Slush card (#165297). The base card is also Basic White.

“With Love” is from the Extraordinary Flora stamp set (#165243) and stamped with Strawberry Slush ink (#165286). This was punched with the Three Banner Punch (#167050).

The clear embellishments from the Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes (#176005) were coloured with the Strawberry Slush Stampin’ Blends (#165290) before attaching to the card.

Fragrant Layers Bundle

 Hi friends,

The Fragrant Layers stamp set (#167150) is a Two-Step stamp set, which allows you to use different colours on the one image.

I stamped the floral image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#166781). For the flowers I stamped with Poppy Parade ink (#147050) and the leaves with Summer Splash ink (#163809). For the lighter leaves I stamped off before stamping on the image. The flower centres were stamped with Lemon Lolly ink (#161666).

I cut the outline of the floral image with a die from the Fragrant layers dies (#167154) using Poppy Parade card (#121694). I placed this on top of the stamped image. The Poppy Parade card was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

For the card front I used the Mixed Up Patterns Mix-In Designer Series Paper (#166992). This was attached to the Basic Black card (#121688) then attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment is also from the Fragrant Layers stamp set. I stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) and added Black Powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165679). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

I cut the sentiment with a Fragrant Layers die. This die cuts 2 pieces at the one time - the inside for the sentiment and the outside “frame”. I cut a 2nd piece with Poppy Parade card and used the frame around the sentiment. The cute ladybugs are from the Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes (#167005).
