Exciting Times Bundle

 Hi everyone,

A quick & easy card using the Exciting Times Bundle (#167881), consisting of the Exciting Times stamp set (#167875) and the Rounded Rectangle Punch (#167880).

I used the Berry Botanical Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167985), which is now retired. However you could use any designer paper. I attached this with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to Basic White card (#166781). These pieces were then attached to the Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) then attached to the Basic White base card.

The outside frame and sentiment from the Exciting Times stamp set, were stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) and the radiating lines around the sentiment were stamped with Highland Heather ink (#147103). I used the Rounded Rectangular punch to cut the sentiment and the inside of the frame. The sentiment was taped to the card and the frame was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

This month Stampin’ Up! have specials on many of the Designer Papers, so make sure you check them out.

Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hi friends,

Beautiful designer paper can make quick & easy cards, like this design from the Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper (#167904). This paper has velvet texture on each floral design.

The DSP was matted with Berry Burst card (#144249).

The sentiment from the All Aflutter stamp set (#167564) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) onto Berry Burst card. I added White powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165679) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with a die from the Fragrant Layers Dies (#167154). The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The white twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (#155475) was threaded through the sentiment and wrapped around the card front. This was then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I added some small butterflies from the Gilded Wings Accents (#169953) which will be available in July from the online exclusives. The Antique Pearls (#164679) were added to the card & butterflies.

Beautiful Blues Kit

 Hello friends,

Kits are fantastic for quick & easy cards like this one from the Beautiful Blues Kit (#165658). There are a large variety of kits available from Stampin’ Up! which are perfect for new crafters, busy crafters or those who just want a quick & easy card.

The card kits usually have all the supplies for 9 cards with 3 of each of 3 designs and also includes the card base, stamp set, ink spot, envelopes, pre-cut pieces, adhesives, embellishments and instructions. You can make the kits as per the instructions or change it up for your own design which is what I have done on this card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Greenery Lane stamp set and (#166870) with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). This was then cut with one of the Phrases & Frames die (#167586). This is an Impressions die, so I then used the Impressions Plate (#167767) which gives a deeper embossed image to the frame. I daubered the edges of the sentiment with Blueberry Bushel ink. The sentiment & frame were attached to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The pre-cut floral piece was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The embellishments are from the retired Tinsel Gems. I added some glimmer to the flowers with the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).

Another Quick & Easy card

 Hello,

Another quick & easy card while away for a few days. I just brought the Heirlooms Arrangements Kit (#165007), Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#164862) and some embellishments. Very compact but giving me a variety of designs.

It’s so easy to mix and match all the elements from the kit, using as many or as few as you want for your cards. Just add a greeting and an embellishment and the card is finished. The adhesives used are tape, Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The dragonflies are from the Adhesive Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743).

Another Heirloom Arrangements card

 Hello again friends,

Here’s another card using the Heirloom Arrangements Kit (#16500) and the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#164862).

The base card, florals & butterfly are all from the kit. These were attached with tape & Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Happy Birthday” is from the Ephemera pack and also attached with Dimensionals. The small butterfly embellishment is from the Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136).

Using these 2 products - the kit and Ephemera pack it is so easy to make quick & easy cards and also great for beginners or all types of crafters. The kit does contain stamps, ink, adhesives and a block for the stamps as this kit is an all inclusive one.

Lights Of Aurora Designer Series Paper

 Hello again friends,

A super easy card today as I wanted to highlight the beautiful Lights Of Aurora 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#165755).

I matted the designer paper with Silver Foil Sheet (#163387). If you are wanting to save your paper especially the specialty papers, remove the middle for another project, as you are only needing a small border to matt the DSP.

I did this, then adhered Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the back of the Silver Foil which I removed from the centre and cut the letters using the Alphabet A La Mode dies (#160750). These were attached to the card front.

“Birthday” is from the Blooming Phrases stamp set (#165523) and I stamped this with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). I fussy cut this and attached it to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The card front was attached to the Blueberry Bushel base card (#146991).

Loveliest tree

 Hello friends,

A quick & easy card today using the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) and Loveliest Tree dies (#163715).

The tree was stamped with Garden Green ink (#147089) and cut with the co-ordinating die. I used Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends (#161674) to colour the trunk of the tree.

“Happy Birthday” from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set (#164608) was also stamped with Garden Green ink, then cut with a Beautiful Butterflies die (#164614).

The card front and brown strips are from the Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165969). This was matted with Garden Green card (#108605) and attached to the Basic White base card (#166781). I daubered the edges of the tree & sentiment with Garden Green ink. These were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The small leaves were cut with the Loveliest Tree dies from Garden Green card backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

Floral Charm Designer Series Paper

 Hello again,

A quick & easy card using the beautiful Floral Charm Designer Series Paper (#166125).

The Designer Series Paper was matted with Very Vanilla card (#166785), then Blackberry Bliss card (#133682). I wrapped a retired Blackberry Bliss ribbon around the card front, then attached it to the Very Vanilla base card.

I stamped “Best Wishes” from With You In Mind stamp set (#164747) with VersaMark (#102283) and added Gold powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678) and this was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The sentiment and Blackberry Bliss card were both cut with dies from the Party Banners dies (#165264). I lightly added some colour over the sentiment using a Blending Brush (#153611) with Blackberry Bliss ink (#147092).

I fussy cut a flower from another page of the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper. The sentiment and flower were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The card was finished by adding the Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136).

Gallery Blooms dies

 Hello,

A quick & easy card using a couple of dies, designer series paper and a sentiment.

I cut the Splendid Autumn 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#164173) with the frame die from the Gallery Blooms dies (#165212). This die cuts the 3 pieces in one cut. I did cut a slither off the outside of the 2 middle pieces so that when I attached them to the card I could see a small amount of the Blackberry Bliss card (#133682) which I attached them to. I taped the outside & inside pieces to the card and used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the middle piece.

The card front was attached to Very Vanilla base card (#166785).

“Best Wishes” is from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set (#165491) and I stamped this with Blackberry Bliss ink (#147092). I then cut it with a Mixed Labels die (#164652). This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Flower Accents (#165171) were added to the sentiment.

Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder

 Hello again my friends,

I have just used the stunning Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder (#166145) for this card. This embossing folder will be available from the Online Exclusives in early July.

This folder is large - 15.2cm x 21.6cm (6”x8-1/2”) and has bold textured sunflower designs. After embossing the Daffodil Delight card (#121680) I added some colour with Sponge Daubers (#133773), using Crushed Curry ink (#147087) on the petals, Lemon Lime Twist ink (#147145) on the leaves and Pecan Pie ink (#161665) on the flower centres. I then added some glimmer to the petals with the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).

I matted this card with Pecan Pie card (#161726) and attached it to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The sentiment is from the Year Of Flowers stamp set (#165367) and stamped with Pecan Pie ink. A Perennial Postage die (#162607) was used to cut the sentiment. Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) were used to attach it to the card.

Sentimental Framing Die

 Hello friends,

I am back home after a short time away and straight into card classes, so here is a quick & easy card using the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper (#165196).

I cut the frame using a Sentimental Framing Die (#165476). I used the Secret Sea card (#165296) for this. I taped the DSP to the Basic Beige base card (#164512) and attached the frame with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment is from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set (#165198) and stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083). I used a die from the Beautiful Butterflies (#164614) to cut the sentiment. This was taped to the frame.

Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack

 Hello again,

Another quick & easy cards today using 2 Ephemera Packs.

The flower is from the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack (#163762). I coloured this with Clear Wink Of Stella 141897). I mentioned a few weeks ago ago that I used 2 almost empty Wink Of Stellas and added some Isocol to them, then added a drop of Granny Apple Green Ink refill (#147163) to one and Daffodil Delight Ink Refill (#119672) to the other. So I used these to add very subtle colour to the flower & leaves and this applies the glimmer at the same time.

“Congratulations” is from the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#164862).

The Crushed Curry card (#131288) was dry embossed with the Birch Wood Embossing Folder (#164069) before matting with Basic Black card (#121688). This was then attached to the Basic White Base card (#166781).

The sentiment and flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper

 Hi friends,

Another quick & easy card today with no stamping. Beautiful Designer Series Paper makes it easy to make simple but pretty cards.

This DSP is from the Mixed Media Florals (#164638). This 12”x12” page has the floral design around the edges with white in the centre, so would also be great for scrapbooking. I matted this DSP with Basic Black card (#121688), then Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). I wrapped the Gold Open Weave Ribbon (#165715) around the card front, then attached it to the Basic White base card (#159228).

I cut the irregular circle with an Around It All die (#164725) from Basic Black card (#121688). This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The butterfly is from the Paper Butterfly Accents (#162612) and attached to the circle with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). I added Clear dots from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots (#164204) to the butterfly centre.

The sentiment is from the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#164862). This pack has a large range of sentiments which are printed in black with white background and white with black backgrounds, in various scripts and sizes.
