Sale-a-bration

Hello,

Today I have used 2 of the free Sale-a-bration products for 2 quick and easy cards.

The Designer Series Paper is Oh So Ombre (#155225) from Sale-a-bration. There are 4 colours in the pack, all with the ombré effect, in both plain and patterned. I used the Bermuda Bay and Rich Razzleberry colours. I stamped the flowers from the Corner Bouquet stamp set (#155273) - also from Sale-a-bration - with VersaMark (#102283) and sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109132) then set it with the Heat Tool (#129056).

For the Rich Razzleberry card I coloured the floral image (which was white embossed) using the following Stampin’ Blends - Granny Apple Green (#154885), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Poppy Parade (#154958), Rococo Rose (#154900), Rich Razzleberry (#154898) and Calypso Coral (#154881).

I stamped Happy Birthday from Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595). For the Bermuda Bay card, I stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#147096) and for the Rich Razzleberry card I heat embossed with the White Emboss Powder.
I glued the Woven Threads Sequins (#149498) to both cards using the Fine -Tip Glue Pen (#138309) to complete these very easy cards.

Sale-a-bration continues till the end of February, so you still have time to get more free products (with a qualifying $90 order).

Have a great weekend!!

Art Gallery Bundle

Hello again friends,

I have used the Art Gallery Bundle (#156227) for today’s card. This includes the Art Gallery stamp set (#p154421) and the Floral Gallery Dies (#154316).

The dies include the words - “just want to say”. You can use either the negative and positive then use the other for another card. I have cut the words from Whisper White card and then matted this with the Bermuda Bay card (#131268). The flowers and sentiment are images from the stamp set. The flowers are 2-step stamping, so I have stamped the background of the flowers with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097), then stamped the smaller image of the flowers with Bermuda Bay ink (#147096). The sentiment is also stamped with Bermuda Bay ink. The flowers and sentiment were cut with dies from the Floral Gallery dies. The sentiment was matted with Bermuda Bay card. The flowers and sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).
The Designer Series Paper is the Oh So Ombre DSP (#155225) from Sale-a-bration.The base card is Whisper White. Before attaching the Wonderful Gems to the card I coloured them using the Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends (#154878). For a bit of glimmer I used The Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) on the words and parts of the flowers.

Hope your day is a relaxing one.

Flowering Vine Dies

Welcome friends,

Have you seen the beautiful Flowering Vine Dies (#154332) in the current mini catalogue. I love the 3 detailed flowering designs - one rectangular, one circle and one oval.

The designer series paper is the Oh So Ombre DSP (#155225) from Sale-a-bration. I have used 2 different sheets - the plain Ombre look and the patterned piece. The DSP was attached to the Rococo Rose card (#150888) then I wrapped the Blushing Bride 3/8” Metallic Ribbon (#154284) around the card front. This was attached to the Whisper White card base (#106549).
I cut the Champagne Foil Sheet (#144748) with the die. I had the Foil Sheet backed with the Adhesive Sheets (#152334) as this makes attaching the more detailed cut outs to the card so much easier.
I stamped the butterflies from Floating & Fluttering stamp set (#154424) using VersaMark (#102283) and added the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). These butterflies were cut with the Fluttering Dies (#154318). There are dies in this set to cut the butterflies separately or as a group. I have used the individual dies. I coloured the butterflies with Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends (#154900), then used the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) for the sparkle. The butterflies were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).
The sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set (#154368) was stamped with Rococo Rose ink (#150080), then cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820) and also attached with Dimensionals.

Don’t forget about Sale-a-bration, where you get free products with each $90 purchase of Stampin’ Up! products from the current catalogues. If you want more information contact me or go to- lesleyjendra.stampinup.net

Vine Design Bundle

Hi again everyone,

With the sudden lockdown around Brisbane, I have had to cancel everything over the next 4 days, so I have had a bit of extra time in my craft room today which is a positive.
I have made this card using new products from the Mini catalogue and Sale-a-bration.

I stamped the leaves from the Vine Design stamp set (#154488) using Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) onto the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper (#155225). This DSP is free from Sale-a-bration with a $90 order. After stamping, I dry embossed the DSP with the Sublte 3D Embossing Folder (#151775). The die cut piece was cut with a Flowering Vine Die (#154332) from Pearlescent Specialty Paper (#154291). I attached this to the DSP with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).
The flowers and sentiment are from the Vine Design stamp set (#154488) and were stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052), Blushing Bride ink (#147100) and Granny Apple Green ink (#147095). The sentiment was cut with a die from the Flowering Vine Dies and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The stamped flowers were also cut with the Flowering Vine Dies and also attached with Dimensionals. Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) were added to the flowers and sentiment.
The base card is Whisper White. Don’t forget Basic White card (#159228) is now replacing Whisper White card and is available to purchase.

Dandy Laser-Cut Paper

Hello again,

Things have been a bit busy the last few weeks with Christmas just around the corner, but hopefully things will start to settle down in the next week and I can get back into the craft room again.
Today’s card is another very easy card as again I have limited time.

I have used the Bermuda Bay from the Oh So Ombre 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#155225). I have glued the Dandy Laser Cut Paper (#154300) to the DSP. I glued this using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755) and sponged it over the back of the laser-cut paper. The Coastal Cabana ribbon from the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack (#152468) was wrapped around the card front before attaching it to the Whisper White base card (#106549).
I stamped the dragonfly from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set (#c154411) using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). This was punched with the co-ordinating Dragonflies punch (#154240). The wings were coloured with the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend (#154904), then using the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897) to add glitter to the wings.
The sentiment from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#147096) and cut with a Stitched So Sweetly Die (#151690). The sentiment and dragonfly were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Now some information about Whisper White cardstock from Stampin’ Up!

Whisper White has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long. We love it and we know you love it, too. We are sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we weren’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to us and we can no longer offer our Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of our other cardstocks, this only affects Whisper White.

We know Whisper White has a huge fan base; we’re big fans, too! And we are crushed that it’s going away. Even though this decision was out of our hands, rest assured that we jumped right into action to find the best replacement paper possible. We have dedicated many hours to source and test alternative cardstock options from several suppliers to find the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust. We are happy to share that we have found a winner for our new cardstock, Basic White!

The quality of our new Basic White was thoroughly tested by our quality assurance and product teams. It also tested very well with demonstrators and concept artists who gave it a huge thumbs up. We believe in the quality of the new Basic White cardstock and we know it will become your new crafting staple!

Whisper White card will be available while stocks last and Basic White will be available as soon as it is in stock and not too far away. I am looking forward to using this new card.

Have a great day.

“Love what you do and share what you love”.

Floating & Fluttering Bundle

Hello friends,

I have some sneak peeks on todays card using products from the upcoming Mini catalogue and Sale-a-bration catalogue. Both are available from the 5th January 2021.

The group of butterflies and leaves are from the Floating & Fluttering stamp set (#154424).  These are stamped as one image with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This is cut with a die from the Fluttering Dies (#154318). I coloured the image with Stampin’ Blends - Bermuda Bay (#154878), Mango Melody (#154888), Petal Pink (#154893) and Old Olive (#154892). I cut the the single butterfly from Gold Foil Sheet (#132622).
The base card is Whisper White (#106549). The Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper (#155225) was dry embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317). I wrapped the Snowflake Splendor 1/4” Ribbon (#153548) around the card front, then attached this to the base card.
I used the piece of DSP that I had left over after cutting the card front, for the greeting. “Thank You” from the Heal Your Heart stamp set (#155291) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto this DSP then cut with a die from the Fluttering Dies. The butterflies were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I added the Gilded Gems (#152478) to the greeting and gold butterfly.
The Designer Series Paper and the Heal Your Heart Stamp set are both free products during Sale-a-bration. From 5th January till 28th February, for each $90 you spend on Stampin’ Up! Products, you can choose a free Sale-a-bration product. There is a range of products to choose from.

Have a great weekend!!
