Winterly Tree Tops

 Hello again my crafty friends,

These birds are from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set (#164184) and cut with the Winterly Tree Tops dies (#164065). This stamp set & dies are retiring. I like to use some of the retiring products before they are gone.

I stamped the image with Basic Gray ink (#149165) onto Basic White card (#159228). The birds were coloured with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883) and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends (#154958) for the beaks. The branches were coloured with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends (#154882). I used the Real Red from the Pearlised Enamel Effects Basics (#156310) for the berries. This does take some time to dry so I usually do this after the card is completed then put aside to dry so it doesnt get damaged.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front with the Corrugated Embossing Folder (#165559) and attached a piece of the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper (#163284) to the left side. This was matted with Garden Green card (#108605). I wrapped the Gold Trim from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack (#161633) around the card front.

The hexagons were cut with the Meant To Bee dies (#166582). I used Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and Garden Green card. Each of these hexagon dies cuts a “frame” plus a solid hexagon. I used the “frame” from the Gold Foil and the solid part from the Garden Green card. The gold “frame” was attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I dry embossed the Garden Green hexagon with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406).

“Happy Birthday” from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set (#164608) was stamped with Garden Green ink (#147089), then cut with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183).

The birds & sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I added some Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the birds.

A Little Bit Festive

 Hi friends,

Another very quick & easy Christmas card, again using a die cut from the A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper (#164107).

I added the White Pearlised Enamel Effects Basics (#156310) to the “snow” on the trees of the die cut piece. I also added some along the ground. This was put aside to dry.

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder (#162026), then matted with Pool Party card (#124391) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment is from the Christmas Labels Bundle (#164101) and stamped with Pool Party ink (#147107). The co-ordinating Christmas Labels die (#164100) was used to cut the sentiment.

Once the trees were dry I attached them and the sentiment to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Regal Flora Bundle

 Hello,

I am using the same Regal Flora Bundle (#164034) today, but this time using more subtle colours for a totally different look.

I stamped the flowers from the Regal Flora stamp set (#164157) with Boho Blue ink (#161650), Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) and Highland Heather ink (#147103). The leaves were stamped with Garden Green ink (#147089). The flowers & leaves were cut with the co-ordinating Regal Flora Dies (#164033).

I stamped the dots on the Basic White card front (#59228) with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). This was matted with Highland Heather card (#147010) then attached to the Basic White base card.

I added the White Pearlised Enamel Effects Basics (#156310) to the flowers with a brush to add shimmer & dimension. The leaves and blue flowers were attached to the card with Mini Glue dots (#103683) and the other flowers were attached with Mini Dimensionals (144108).

The clear embellishments from the Pecan & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots (#164204) were added to the centre of the flowers. I also added the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems (#162611) to the card.

Christmas Lights

Hi friends,

A simple Christmas card using the Christmas Lights Bundle (#159961) and the Brightest Glow Bundle (#159552).

The DSP is from the Boughs Of Holly Designer Series Paper (#159600) this was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). I used one of the dies from the Labels Aglow dies (#159551) on the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper (#159237). This was attached to the DSP.

The tree was stamped with Evening Evergreen ink (#155576) and cut with a Twinkling Lights Die (#159541). This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment from the Brightest Glow stamp set (#159542) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was also cut with a Labels Aglow die.

I used the White Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics (#156310) to add the “decorations” to the tree, Even though this is white, the green colour from the ink has shown through to give a lovely subtle green colour.

I can’t believe it is already November and Christmas is just around the corner. I hope you have started (or perhaps you have finished) your Christmas cards. I still have some to make but hope they will all be finished soon.
