Petal Park

 Hi again,

I am continuing to use some of the retiring products, including the Petal Park stamp set (#160571).

I stamped the outline of the leaves with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) and the inside with Parakeet Party ink (#159208). For the flowers I used Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099), Poppy Parade ink (#147050) and Azure Afternoon ink (#161663). I stamped the inside of the flowers using the Stamping off method to achieve a lighter colour. The flowers were then punched with the Petal Park Builder Punch (#160576).

I punched the corners of the Basic White card (#159228) with the Very Best Trio Punch (#159878). The card front is from the Bright & Beautiful 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#161449) and I dry embossed this with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406). This was attached to the Basic White base card.

I attached the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) was stamped with Poppy Parade ink then cut with a Labels Aglow die (#159551). Stampin’ Dimensionals were also used to attach this to the card.

The dragonflies are from Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743).

The retiring product used on this card are the Petal Park stamp set, Labels Aglow dies, Very Best Trio Punch and the Artistically Inked stamp set.

Petal Park

 Hello everyone,

At this time of the year when there are products retiring from both the Annual and Mini catalogues, I like to highlight some of these products which I have probably ignored for a while. So I have used a variety of retiring products on this card.

The flowers are from the Petal Park stamp set (#160571). I stamped these using Sweet Sorbet ink (#159216), Orchid Oasis ink (#159214) and Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). I stamped the outline with the inks as normal, then for the “inside” colour, I inked the stamp, stamped it off onto a scrap of paper to achieve a lighter colour then stamped the flower. These flowers were punched with the co-ordinating Petal Park Builder Punch (#160576).

I stamped the leafy image from the Dainty Delight stamp set (#161078) using Parakeet Party ink (#159208) onto the Basic White card front (#159228). I then dry embossed this card with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317). The white card was double matted with Sweet Sorbet card (#159266) and Orchid Oasis card (#159265) then attached to the Basic White base card.

I attached the flowers to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430), Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

“Best Wishes” from Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) was stamped with Orchid Oasis ink then cut with an All That die (#159078) and attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The retiring products are the Petal Park stamp set, Petal Park Builder punch, Dainty Delight stamp set, Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, Artistically Inked stamp setAll That dies, Sweet Sorbet ink & card, Orchid Oasis ink & card and Parakeet Party ink.

Petal Park

Hello,

I have used a variety of stamp sets for this easy card. The flowers are from the Petal Park stamp set (#160571).

Firstly I stamped the Very Vanilla card front (#106550) with an image from the Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542). This was stamped randomly on the card with Lemon Lolly ink (#161666). I then stamped the leaves from the Gorgeously Made stamp set (#161193) using Mossy Meadow ink (#147111) and Pecan Pie Ink (#161665).

The corners of the card front were punched with the Very Best Trio punch (#159878) then this was matted with Pumpkin Pie card (#108601) and attached to the Very Vanilla base card.

The flowers were stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink (#147086), using full strength ink for the outline and stamped off for the inside. They were punched with the Petal Park Builder Punch (#160576) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Best Wishes” from Artistically Inked stamp set was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink and I used a Radiating Stitches Die (#161595) to cut this.

The embellishments are from the Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems (#161300) and added to the flower centres. As usual I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the flowers.

Petal Park

Welcome everyone,

The stamp set used for the flowers and stamped leaves are from the Petal Park stamp set (#160571).

There are 3 flowers on one stamp so I stamped this with 3 different inks as I wanted 3 colours of flowers - Real Red (#147084), Blueberry Bushel (#147138) and Tahitian Tide (#159210). These flowers were punched with the Petal Park Builder Punch (#160576).

I stamped the leaves on the Vellum Basics Designer Series Paper (#160839). There are 3 different designs in this pack and I have used the leaf design. I stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and added the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056).

I cut the “frame” from Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) using 2 of the Countryside Corners dies (#161471). I attached this to the vellum with Mini Glue Dots (#152334) and the vellum was attached to the Coastal Cabana card (#131302). When attaching vellum I use adhesive behind elements so it is hidden. The card front was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

I attached the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Coastal Cabana leaves were cut with dies from the Around The Bend dies (#160649) and attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots.

“Thinking Of You” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097) and cut with a die from the Cracker & Treat Box dies (#159182). This was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). A retired Flowers Adhesive-Backed Trinket was added to the sentiment.

Elegant Borders Dies

Hello everyone,

This pretty border is from the Elegant Borders Dies (#161593). There are 4 border dies in this set as shown below.

I have cut the Basic White card (#159228) with the die. The sentiment from the Dainty Delight stamp set (#161078) was stamped with Orchid Oasis ink (#159214).

I dry embossed the Orchid Oasis card (#159265) with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (#156505). The corners of this card and the Basic White card were punched with the Very Best Trio Punch (#159878).

I stamped the flowers from the Petal Park stamp set (#160571) twice. First I stamped the outline with Orchid Oasis ink, then stamped the inside again with Orchid Oasis ink but I stamped off first so I had a lighter colour. These flowers were then punched with the Petal Park Builder Punch (#160576).

The flowers were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The White Opaque Adhesive-Backed gems (#160412) were attached to the centre of the flowers.

Petal Park

Hello crafty friends,

These flowers have been stamped with the Petal Park stamp set (#160571) and punched with the co-ordinating Petal Park Builder Punch (#160576). These can also be purchased as the Petal Park Bundle (#160577).

The leaves from the stamp set were stamped with VersaMark (#102283), embossed with the White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I coloured the leaves with Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends (#159220) and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885).

I stamped the flowers with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and they were punched with the Petal Park Builder punch. I have coloured these with various colours from the Assortment 1 (#141709) and Assortment 2 (#149014) Watercolor Pencils. I added a small amount of colour to the inside petals and on the tip of some of the petals, then I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to blend the colours. I have also seen this done with the Color Lifter (#144608) from the Stampin’ Blends which achieves the same result, except the Clear Wink Of Stella adds glitter at the same time.

Using a Small Blending Brush (#160518) I lightly applied the Pale Papaya ink (#155670) to the Basic White card front (#159228). The card front was matted with Gorgeous Grape card (#147011).

The sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set (#158203) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) and cut with a Meadow Die (#155852). I threaded the (retired) Gorgeous Grape ribbon through the label & wrapped it around the card front. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) under the sentiment.

The larger flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals and I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) for the smaller flowers. A Dragonfly Trinket (#160520) and the Flat Adhesive-backed Pearls (#160449) were added to the card.

Petal Park

Hello stamping friends,

The Petal Park stamp set (#160571) and the Petal Park Builder punch (#160576) are available separately or you can get them together in the Petal Park Bundle (#160576) which as usual you get a 10% discount when purchasing a bundle.

I stamped the leaves with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104) onto Basic White card (#159228). This is a Two-step stamping set and there is another stamp to stamp inside the leaves. However I chose to colour the leaves with the Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends (#154902) on this card.

The flowers can also be stamped with Two-Step stamping, but I have chosen just to stamp with the “inside” stamp. It’s great when there are different ways of using any stamps. These three flowers are all in one stamp so I actually stamped 3 times with the different inks. I used Orchid Oasis (#159214), Real Red (#147084) and Mango Melody (#147093). These flowers were then punched with the Petal Park Builder Punch and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I attached the piece of Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper (#160834) to the bottom part of the White card, then matted this with the Orchard Oasis card (#159265). I wrapped the Orchard Oasis Metallic Woven Ribbon (#159199) around the card front then attached it to the Basic White base card.

Happy Birthday from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Orchard Oasis ink. The labels for the sentiment were cut with dies from the Something Fancy Dies (#160424) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).
