Trucking Along

 Hi everyone,

With the new Mini catalogue being released early January, the current Mini catalogue will be retiring along with many products. Also there are a number of Online Exclusive products retiring to make room for more new and exciting products. So over the next few weeks I will try to highlight some of the retiring products.

The Trucking Along stamp set (#162299) and the Trucking Along Builder Punch (#162305) are retiring. I stamped the outline of the trucks with Misty Moonlight ink (#153118) and Night Of Navy ink (#147110). For the coloured part of the trucks I used the Stamping Off method with the same inks to get the lighter colour. The trucks were then punched with the punch. The tyres were coloured with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends (#154904). The presents were stamped with Misty Moonlight ink and coloured with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883) and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends (#154830). These were fussy cut.

Three designs of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393) have been used on this card. This is not retiring. I matted the lighter piece with Basic Black card (#121688). They were attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

“Happy Birthday” from the retiring Garden Meadow stamp set (#162736), was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink and cut with a Happy Little Things die (#163709) - also retiring.

The sentiment & trucks were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach the presents. The Festive Pearls embellishments are already retired.

Trucking Along

 Hello friends,

A masculine card today using the Trucking Along stamp set (#162299).

I stamped the blue for the truck with Night Of Navy ink (#147110) using the stamping off method. To do this, ink your stamp, stamp it on scrap paper then stamp onto your card. This gives a lighter image. I then stamped the outline image of the truck with VersaMark (#102283) and sprinkled it with Silver from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678), then set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). The Trucking Along Builder Punch (#162305) was used to punch the truck.

I cut the Cherry Cobbler card (#121681) and the Silver Foil Sheet (#163387) with Nested Essentials dies (#161597). The sentiment is from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) and was stamped with Night Of Navy ink. This was also cut with a Nested Essentials die.

The card front is from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393). I stamped the timber grain from the Textured Timber Stamp set (#163656) with VersaMark & Silver embossing powder onto the left side of the DSP. The card front was matted with Cherry Cobbler card and attached to the Basic White base card.

The truck was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Trucking Along

 Hello friends,

As tomorrow is Father’s Day in Australia, I thought I would make a Father’s Day card for hubby. He loves his cars, and when we first met he owned a ute, so decided the truck from the Trucking Along stamp set (#162299) would be great for him.

I stamped the truck with VersaMark (#102283) onto one of the designs of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393). This gives a bit of an old rusty look. I used the Copper from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). The Trucking Along Builder Punch (#162305) was used to punch the truck.

I dry embossed the Basic White card (#159228) with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder  (#154317). I then added some colour with a Blending Brush (#153611) and Pecan Pie ink (#161665), just behind where I was attaching the truck. This card and the DSP also from the Country Woods DSP, was partly matted with Pecan Pie card (#161726). These were taped to the Basic White base card.

“Happiest Father’s Day” is from the Adventurous Sky stamp set (#163439) and also Copper embossed. A Something Fancy die (#160424) was used to cut the sentiment. I used a Stylish Shapes die (#159183) to cut the Pecan Pie card which I attached to the sentiment. The sentiment and the truck were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The retired Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds were added to the card.

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads!!

One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper

Hello friends,

The beautiful One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper (#162118) has been used for the background for this masculine Birthday card.

I cut the stripes of DSP and attached these to Misty Moonlight card (#153086). I dry embossed the Basic White card (#159228) with one of the Basics Embossing Folders (#161598) and attached the strips to this card. I daubered Misty Moonlight ink (#153118) to the edges of the card front then this was attached to the Basic White base card.

The outline of the truck from the Trucking Along stamp set (#162299) was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#121681). The inside was also stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink but I “stamped off” to get the lighter colour. The truck was punched with the Trucking Along Builder Punch (#162305).

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was also stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink then cut with a Something Fancy die (#160424). The truck & sentiment were both attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Tartan Foil Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone,

I thought the new Tartan Foil Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162332) would make a great masculine card. This pack has 3 colours - Copper Clay as used here, Lost Lagoon and Pebbled Path with beautiful foil on both sides.

I matted the DSP with Cajun Craze card (#121683) and attached this to the Basic White base card (#159228). The banner is the reverse side of the DSP and I cut the V with a retired Banner Triple punch, and taped it to the card.

The circles were cut with the Deckled Circles dies (#162286). I used Cajun Craze card for the larger circle and the matte paper from the Rose Gold Specialty Paper (#159139) for the smaller circle. I dry embossed the foil with a Cheery Patterns Embossing Folder (#162287).

The outline of the truck was stamped with Copper Clay ink (#161647) and the inside with the same ink but using the Stamping off method for a lighter colour. I coloured the tyres with the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend (#154904). The truck is from the Trucking Along stamp set (#162299). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the truck. This was punched with the Trucking Along Builder Punch (#162305) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Just A Note” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Copper Clay ink then cut with a Countryside Corners die (#161471) and also attached with Dimensionals.

The Trucking Along stamp set & Punch and the Tartan Foil DSP are all available from the Online Exclusives, along with many other products. Check them out here -https://www.stampinup.com.au

One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper

Hello everyone,

The One Horse Open Sleigh 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#162118) has a beautiful range of scenery designs and I have used one on todays card.

I matted the DSP with Lemon Lolly card (#161729) then this was attached to the Cherry Cobbler base card (#121681).

The truck from the Trucking Along stamp set (#162299) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Cherry Cobbler card. This was punched with the co-ordinating Trucking Along Builder Punch (#162305). The tree in the back of the truck was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111) for the outline and Old Olive ink (#147090) which was stamped off, for the solid part of the tree. This was then fussy cut.

I cut 2 trees with the Horse & Sleigh Dies (#162125) from Mossy Meadow card (#133683) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). Using a Palette Knife (#142808), I applied a small amount of the Copper Metallic Enamel Effects (#161610) on the tree and put this aside to dry, then attached it to the card.

The sentiment is from the Trucking Along stamp set and I used Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083). A Stylish Shapes Die (#159183) was used to cut this. The truck & sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The One Horse Open Sleigh Suite Collection (#162130) and the Trucking Along bundle (#162306) are available from the online exclusives and can be found here - https://www.stampinup.com.au
