Two Tone Flora

 Welcome everyone,

I am using a variety of retiring products again for this card, including the Two-Tone Flora stamp set (#160844).

The flowers were stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink (#159216). The outline of the flowers were stamped with “full strength” ink and the inside was stamped using the stamping off method. To do this, ink the stamp as usual, stamp onto scrap paper to remove some of the ink, then stamp over the outline of the flower. This gives a lighter colour, so you only need 1 coloured ink to achieve 2 colours. The leaves were stamped with Lost Lagoon ink (#161678). The flowers and leaves were cut with Two-Tone Flora dies (#159181).

I cut the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper (#162593) with one of the Patchwork Pieces Die (#161592). The pieces were attached to a piece of Very Vanilla card (#106550), spreading the pieces slightly.

I cut another piece of Very Vanilla card for the “frame” using a die from the Darling Details dies (#161370). The card front was matted with Lost Lagoon card (#133686), then attached to the Very Vanilla base card.

The larger flower was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach the small flowers & leaves.

“Congratulations” from the Translucent Florals stamp set (#162243) was stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink, then cut with a Happy Little Things die (#163709). Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) were used to add this to the card.

The retiring products used here are the Two-Tone Flora stamp set & dies, Darling Details dies, Patchwork Pieces dies & Sweet Sorbet ink.

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the flowers.

Irresistible Blooms

Hello again friends,

I have used lovely subtle colours with gold on this card.

The flowers from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set (#161140) were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) onto Lemon Lolly card (#161729). I added the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). These flowers were cut with the Irresistible Blooms Dies (#161149). The leaves were cut from the Gold Foil sheet (#132622) also with the Irresistible Blooms dies.

A die from the Two-Tone Flora Dies (#159181) was used to cut the Very Vanilla card (#106550). This was attached to Lemon Lolly card (#161729). I cut a piece of Gold Foil with the Radiating Stitches Dies (#161595) for the frame and this was taped on top of the lacy die cut piece. The base card is Very Vanilla.

“Thinking Of You” is from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) and this was also gold embossed then cut with a Crackers & Treat Box Die (#159182). The larger flower & sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) & Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The small flower & leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Two-Tone Flora

Hello friends,

I have used the beautiful Two-Tone Flora stamp set (#160844) and Two-Tone Flora dies (#159181) on this card today.

I cut the Basic White card with one of the Nested Essentials Dies (#161597), then dry embossed this with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (#161598). I cut the detailed die-cut also using Basic White card and attached it to the embossed card. This was then matted with Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The flowers are from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set and stamped with Berry Burst ink (#147143) and Bubble Bath ink (#161664). This is a two step stamping set. I usually stamp the darker colour first then the lighter colour. This was then cut with the Two-Tone Flora Dies. The small leaves are from the Timeless Arrangements Dies (#161525). I used Soft Sea Foam card backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) for these leaves.

“Celebrate” is cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594) using Berry Burst card (#144249) and Bubble Bath card (#161727). The Bubble Bath card was also backed with Adhesive Sheet making it easy to attach the the base. 

Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the flowers and sentiment to the card. The Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins (#160387) were added to the card and Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used on the flowers.

Holographic Trio Specialty Paper

Hello friends,

For the frame I have used the Holographic Trio Specialty Paper (#161744) which made it a bit difficult to photograph but it looks nice in reality.

The frame was cut with the Radiating Stitches Dies (#161595). I used a Two-Tone Flora Die (#159181) to cut the Basic White card (#159228) which I attached to the back of the frame. This was attached to the Basic White base card.

The flowers from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set (#160844) were stamped with Moody Mauve ink (#161649) and Bubble Bath ink (#161664). These were cut with the Two-Tone Flora Dies.

The leaves were cut with the Timeless Arrangements dies (#161526). For these I used Lost Lagoon card (#133686) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

“Thank You” is from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set (#161521) and stamped with Moody Mauve ink. A Timeless Arrangements die was used to cut the sentiment. Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the sentiment and the largest flower. The other flowers were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was added to the flowers and the embellishments are from the Tinsel Gems Four Pack (#161623).

Two-Tone Flora

Hello friends,

I like to use subtle colours for Sympathy cards which I have done on this card.

The flowers from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set (#160844) have been stamped with Pale Papaya ink (#155670). This is a Two Step stamp, so I stamped the finer lines first, then stamped the whole flower. To get the lighter colour for the whole flower I inked the stamp, stamped off, then stamped the flower. I find it easier to stamp the darker colour first so it’s easier to line up the second image. These flowers were cut with a Two-Tone Flora die (#159181).

I adhered Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the back of the Basic White card (#159228) before cutting the card front with another die from the same set. This was attached to the Basic White base card.

Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) was used for the leaves and these were cut with dies from the Around The Bend dies (#160649). These were also backed with

Adhesive Sheet.

I attached the retired Soft Sea Foam ribbon to the card then attached the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Then the leaves were adhered to the card.

“Heartfelt Sympathy” is from the Seaside Bay stamp set (#160436) and stamped with Pale Papaya ink. A die from the Pretty Pillowbox (#156321) was used to cut the sentiment and this was also attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems (now retired) were added to the card, and I used the White Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics (#156310) on the stamins  of the flowers.

Two-Tone Flora Bundle

Hello friends,

Today I am showing you a sneak peek from the Mini Catalogue which starts on 5th January 2023. I am using the Two-Tone Flora bundle (#160414) and this is a two step stamp set which allows you to get the 2 colours on the flowers.

Each of the flowers are stamped using the Two-Step stamping method. I stamped each flower with the ink for the darker colour, then for the lighter colour I inked the stamp, “stamped off” onto scrap paper  then stamped on top of the first image. I found it easier to stamp the darker colour first so it is easier to line up the images. The ink colours used for the flowers are Starry Sky (#159212), Orchid Oasis (#159214), Sweet Sorbet (#159216) & Tahitian Tide (#159210). The small leaves were stamped with Parakeet Party (#159208) and the larger leaves are stamped with Granny Apple Green (#147095). The flowers and leaves were cut with the Two-Tone Flora Dies (#159181) and the stamp set is the Two-Tone Flora stamp set (#160844). Have you noticed the stamp set, dies and bundle all have the same name which makes it so much easier to remember which stamps & dies go together.

The Basic White card front (#159228) was also cut with the same die set and attached to the Basic White base card. The leaves & flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Starry Sky ink, then cut with a Meadow Die (#155852) and attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The embellishments are the Iridescent Pastel Gems (#160429). I added some glimmer to the flowers with the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).
