Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper

Hi & welcome again,

I have used the Iconic Celebrations 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#164193) on today’s card. It would also be a great way to use any scraps, and we all have plenty of those.

I cut each of the squares from the DSP, the sentiment and the Cherry Cobbler card (#121681) with a die from the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183). I attached the DSP to the Cherry Cobbler card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108), offsetting them to give a shadow effect.

The sentiment is from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) and stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083).

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (#161598). The edges were daubered with Cherry Cobbler ink, then attached to the Basic White base card.

All the squares were taped to the card. An easy card, but the hardest was probably getting all the squares straight.

Eyelet embossing folder

Hi friends,

Today’s card is a variation of yesterday’s card. Instead of adding black ink to the embossing, I sanded the higher areas of the embossing to show the white through.

I dry embossed the Basic White card ($159228) with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder (#163414). Then I coloured this using Blending Brushes (#153611) with the following inks - Crushed Curry (#147087), Gorgeous Grape (#147099), Summer Splash (#163809), Petunia Pop (#163811), Lemon Lime Twist (#147145) and Azure Afternoon (#161663).

Then using fine sand paper, I gently sanded this card so the white is exposed. I splattered the card with Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add some glimmer.

I cut the Basic Black card (#121688), Lemon Lime Twist card (#144250) and Basic White card with the Countryside Corners Dies (#161471). The Basic White card & Lemon Lime Twist card were dry embossed with one of the Basics Embossing Folders (#161598).

“Happy Birthday” is cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594) using Basic Black and Lemon Lime Twist card. The Lemon Lime Twist card was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The sentiment was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The silver Adhesive -Backed Sparkle Gems (#161288) were added to the card.

Fun Patterns embossing folders

Welcome again my friends,

Here is a vibrant birthday card using one of the Fun Patterns Embossing Folders (#163790) to make my own “designer paper”.

I dry embossed a piece of Basic White card (#159228) with one of the Fun Patterns Embossing Folders. Then using Blending Brushes (#153611) I added ink randomly on the card. The inks used are Azure Afternoon (#161663), Crushed Curry (#147087), Gorgeous Grape (#147099), Petunia Pop (#163811) and Lemon Lime Twist (#147145). I then wiped the Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) over the card allowing the higher embossed areas to pick up the ink

I dry embossed the Lemon Lime Twist card (#144250) with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (#161598). I matted the 2 pieces of card with Basic Black card (#121688).

“Happy Birthday” was cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594) using Basic Black card and Basic White card (#159228). The white card was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) making it easy to attach to the black die cut card. The sentiment was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The base card is Basic White. The Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems (#161288) were added to the card. I also splattered some Wink Of Stella (#141897) over the card.

Lovely and Sweet

Hi friends,

The Lovely & Sweet stamp set (#162617) is where you will find this image on today’s card.

I stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) onto Bubble Bath card (#161727) and added White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) which was then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I highlighted the 2 flowers by colouring them with the dark Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends (#161675). This was then cut with one of the Perennial Postage dies (#162607). I dry embossed the card with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (#161598). I cut a piece of Basic Black card (#121688) slightly larger than the Bubble bath card and taped these together. This was then taped to the Berry Burst card (#144249) and attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

“Congratulations” is also from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set and stamped with Berry Burst ink (#147143). A Sending Die (#159271) was used to cut the sentiment.

I wrapped a piece of (retired) ribbon around the card, then attached the sentiment with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The heart embellishments are also retired.

Flight and Airy Designer Series Paper

Hello & welcome,

A very popular Sale-a-bration product is the Flight & Airy 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#162977). I have fussy cut these birds from this DSP. Lucky I like fussy cutting as I seem to be doing it a lot lately.

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (#161600) then matted with Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment from the Everyday Details stamp set (#162861) was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). The sentiment, Blueberry Bushel card & Vellum (#106584) were cut with the Thoughtful Expressions dies (#162821). I dry embossed the Vellum with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder (#161598). The sentiment was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). When I attach the vellum I only use adhesive where it can’t be seen, so I used some tape just under the sentiment. I then taped the Blueberry Bushel card to the card front.

The fussy cut birds were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I cut the leaves with a Wild Ferns die (#162655) using Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), then attached them to the card.

The Blueberry Bushel embellishments are from the Tinsel Gems Four Pack (#161623).

Cheerful Daisies

Hello friends,

These flowers are from the Cheerful Daisies Bundle (#161297).

The 3 flowers and leaves all cut out with one die from the Cheerful Daisies Dies (#161296). I cut one from Lemon Lolly card (#161729) and the other from Basic White card (#159228). I stamped each flower with the matching images from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set (#161290) on the white cut out flowers with Lemon Lolly ink (#161666). The flower centres were coloured with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) using a Sponge Dauber (#133773) and I added Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) lightly to the leaves.

I used a Blending Brush (#153611) with Lemon Lolly ink and an Artistic Mix Decorative Mask (#159178) on a piece of Basic White card for a very subtle background. This was then cut with a Darling Details Die (#161370). This was attached to the Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) which I dry embossed with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (161598). The base card is Basic White.

I attached the 2 layers of flowers with Mini Glue Dots (#103683), offsetting the flowers slightly. The sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink, then cut with a die from the Cracker & Treat Box dies (#159182). Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach this to the card.

The trio of Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems (#161300) were added to finish the card.

Darling Details

Hi again,

I am using the beautiful Darling Details dies (#161370) again on this card. White & gold always look great for a special occasion card.

I cut the bottom edge of the Basic White card (#159228) with a Darling Details Die. I then dry embossed the card with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folder (#161598). I weaved the Gold & Vanilla Satin Edged Ribbon (#159555) through the slots from the die cut. The top corner was punched with the Very Best Trio Punch (#159878), then the Basic White card was matted with the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper (#159237) and attached the the Basic White base card.

The flowers & leaves were cut with the Darling Details dies using Distressed Gold Specialty Paper which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) making it easy to attach these to the card.

The sentiment is from the Phrases For All stamp set (#161403). This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The die to cut the sentiment is from the Labels Aglow Dies (#159551). This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Gold Festive Pearls (#159963) were added to the card.

Two-Tone Flora

Hello friends,

I have used the beautiful Two-Tone Flora stamp set (#160844) and Two-Tone Flora dies (#159181) on this card today.

I cut the Basic White card with one of the Nested Essentials Dies (#161597), then dry embossed this with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (#161598). I cut the detailed die-cut also using Basic White card and attached it to the embossed card. This was then matted with Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The flowers are from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set and stamped with Berry Burst ink (#147143) and Bubble Bath ink (#161664). This is a two step stamping set. I usually stamp the darker colour first then the lighter colour. This was then cut with the Two-Tone Flora Dies. The small leaves are from the Timeless Arrangements Dies (#161525). I used Soft Sea Foam card backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) for these leaves.

“Celebrate” is cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594) using Berry Burst card (#144249) and Bubble Bath card (#161727). The Bubble Bath card was also backed with Adhesive Sheet making it easy to attach the the base.

Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the flowers and sentiment to the card. The Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins (#160387) were added to the card and Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used on the flowers.

Beautiful Balloons

Hello everyone,

Firstly I apologise that I may not have a card to post every day over the next 2 weeks as I am away. I was hoping to get enough cards made before leaving but ran out of time. As you probably know the new catalogue is now available so I am using the Beautiful Balloons Bundle (#161457) on this card. I made this card before the end of the previous catalogue so I have used 2 of the now retired products.

I stamped the ribbons for the balloons onto the Basic White card front (#159228) with Bubble Bath ink (#161664). I dry embossed the card front with the spots from the Basic 3D Embossing Folders (#161598). The edges were daubered with Gorgeous Grape ink (# 147099) then attached it to the Basic White base card. The Gold Fine Shimmmer paper (which is now retired) was cut with a die from the Beautiful Balloons Dies (#161456). I threaded the Gorgeous Grape ribbon (sorry, also retired) through the die cut piece. This was attached to the card front.

The balloons from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set were stamped with Bubble Bath ink, Highland Heather ink (#147103) and Gorgeous Grape ink. For the larger balloon and using VersaMark (#102283), I then stamped it with a different image and embossed this with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The balloons were cut with the Beautiful Balloons dies.

The label is cut from the same set of dies, then I stamped “Happy Birthday” from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set with Gorgeous Grape ink. The balloons and the sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) was threaded through the label.

Blessings Of Home

Hello stamping friends,

The Blessings Of Home Bundle (#157939) which consists of the Blessings Of Home stamp set (#157930) and the Flowers Of Home Dies (#157938) is another of the retiring products.

I stamped the floral image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). I used a variety of Stampin’ Blends to colour this - Polished Pink (#155520), Fresh Freesia (#155518), Soft Succulent (#155521), Balmy Blue (#154830), Highland Heather (#154887), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Pale Papaya (#155519), Pool Party (#154894), Flirty Flamingo (#154884) & Old Olive (#154892). The Old Olive was used on the larger leaves but I wasn’t happy with the colour against the other colours so I recoloured them with Soft Succulent and I liked the result. I then added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the flowers & leaves. This was cut with the Flowers Of Home Dies.

Ther card front was dry embossed with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (#161598) and the edges were daubered with Highland Heather ink (#147103) then attached to the Basic White base card.

The Fresh Freesia Fine Shimmer Paper (#160428) was cut with dies from the Desert Details dies (#160531). This was backed with Adhesive sheet (#152334) so it was easy to attach it to the card front.

The flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The gold Fine Shimmer Paper also had Adhesive Sheet on the back and the dies from the Flowers Of Home dies were used to cut the leaves.

The sentiment is also from the Blessings Of Home stamp set and stamped with Highland Heather ink. A Sending Die (#159271) was used to cut the sentiment and this was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The embellishments are the Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems (#160412).

The retiring products are the Blessings Of Home stamp set, Flowers Of Home dies, Desert Details dies, Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends, Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends, Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends, Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems and Fine Shimmer Paper Pack.

In The Moment

Welcome everyone,

At this time of the year when the Annual catalogue is coming to an end soon (on 1st May), I tend to look at some stamp sets that I haven’t used in a while and may or may not retire. So today I have used the In The Moment stamp set (#157987).

The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). The Stampin’ Blends to colour this are Bermuda Bay (#154878), Crumb Cake (#154882), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Ivory (#154922), Sweet Sorbet (#159224), 500 from the Medium Natural Tones (#159462) and 1000 from the Light Natural Tones (#159465).

I used a Small Blending Brush (#160518) to apply the Balmy Blue ink (#147105) to the background.

I made the frame using 2 of the dies from the Desert Details Dies (#160531) and I used one of the 3 silvers from the Silver Foil Specialty Pack (#156457). I attached the frame to the stamped image. The Bermuda Bay card (#131286) was dry embossed with one of the Basics Embossing Folders (#161598) and attached to the Basic White base card. The frame with the stamped image was attached using Foam Adhesive Strips (#141825).

The embellishments are the Adhesive Backed Studs (#160767). The Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used on the clothing & cup for that bit of shimmer.
