Lovely as a Tree

Hello friends,

Firstly, I hope you all had a very happy and safe Christmas, which I did with all the family here. After everyone left I spent the last 2 days re-organising my craft room and couldn't wait to start stamping again. It's only a few more days - 5th January- when you can start ordering from the new catalogue with so many exciting new products on offer. As well as this, Sale-a-bration is here again, so with every $90 worth of products you order you will earn free products of your choice from the Sale-a-bration catalogue. Today I am giving you a sneek peak of one of the stamp sets, Perfect Pairings (#c141261, #w141258) which have a range of sentiments which can be used alone or with a matching pair as I have used here.

I have used Soft Suede ink (#126978) for the sentiment as well as the trees. After stamping the trees from Lovely as a Tree (#c127793, #w128655), I cut this into 3rds and taped them onto the Soft Suede card (#119982) with a small space in between. I also sponged the edges using a dauber and Soft Suede ink. The base card is Whisper White (#106549).

Sale-a-bration runs from 5th January till 31st March 2016. There are some products available throughout this period, however there are some products that are available only till 15th February, then there will be a release of more products for the remaining time. So make sure you don't miss out on the products that you want.

Lovely as a Tree

Hi again,

I stamped this tree from Lovely As A Tree stamp set (#c127793, #w128655) using Old Olive ink (#126953). 

The Cardstock for this card is Whisper White (#106549), the DSP is from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack (#138434) and I also used the Gold Foil Sheets (#132622). The circles were cut with the Circles Collection Framelits (#130911). Happy Birthday from the Sassy Salutations stamp set was heat embossed with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing Powder (#109129). The ribbon is Gold 1/8" ribbon and is included in this week's Weekly Deals and here are the deals-

Lovely as a Tree reflection

Hi,

This is my first attempt at a reflection. I'm sure I could improve with a bit more practice but I am not real good with shading, but was reasonably happy with my first attempt.

The card I stamped on was Shimmery White (#121717). The trees from Lovely As A Tree Stamp set (#c127793, #w128655) were stamped with Early Espresso ink (#126974). To do the reflection, stamp onto a piece of acetate, then lining up the image with the inked image facing down on the card press onto the card. This gives a more subtle look which is what you want for the reflection. I sponged the sky and water with Soft Sky (#131181) and Marina Mist ink (#126962), and the grass with Wild Wasabi (#126959) and Old Olive (#126953). The sentiment from Tag Talk stamp set (#c134252, #w134249) was stamped with Marina Mist and punched with the Label Bracket punch (#132153), then attached to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The base card is Marina Mist (#121682).

Lovely as a Tree

Hi again ladies,

I have combined a variety of stamp sets to get this scene on today's card.

The trees are of course from the Lovely As a Tree stamp set (#c127793, #w128655), the sun from Kinda Eclectic (#c135350, #w135347) and the clouds are from Sprinkles of Life (#p139971). I stamped the trees with Soft Suede ink (#126978) then using a Blender Pen (#102845) with Old Olive ink (#126953) and Pear Pizzaz ink (#131180) I added the green colour to the trees and the grass. The sun was stamped with So Saffron ink (#126957) and the clouds with Soft Sky. I stamped 1 of the clouds on spare card so I could punch it with the Tree Builder punch #(138295) and attach it with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The Cardstock is So Saffron (#108611), Soft Sky (#131292) and Whisper White (#106549). Just for You is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set (#c120024, #w130042), stamped with Soft Suede ink and punched with the Word Window punch (#119857).

Lovely as a Tree

Hello,

Lovely as a Tree stamp set (#c127793, #w128655) is one of the most popular sets and I have used it today to create a very simple card 

I used Whisper White card (#106549) and Cucumber Crush (#138342). The other stamp sets are Gorgeous Grunge (#c130517) - used under the sentiment, and Birthday Blossoms (#c139471, #w139167) for the sentiment. The inks are Cucumber Crush (#138324) and Tip Top Taupe (#138325). The Framelit used for the sentiment is from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits (#135707).
