Festive Flower Builder Punch

Hello again,

There are some returning favourites from the holiday catalogue which are being carried over to the Occasions catalogue and the Reson for the Season stamp set with the Festive Flower Builder Punch is a bundle (#140847) which is returning. Yes this may be a Christmas set but can also be used for other occasions, as I have done on today's card.

I have used Whisper White (#106549) for the base card. The flower was made with Marina Mist card (#121682) and this was stamped with Marina Mist ink (#126962) using the Reason for the Season stamp set (#p139730). The petals were punched using the Festive Flower Builder punch (#139682). For the centre of the flower I used Silver Glimmer Paper (#135314). The flower was put together using hot melt glue. The Silver Foil Sheet (#132622) was cut with the Striped Scallop Thinlits (#133734). The Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309) is ideal to add glue to the small areas of these scallops. The sentiment is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167) and stamped with Marina Mist ink.

You will also find in the new catalogue a cute stamp set which co-ordinates with this Festive Flower punch. I love it when there are multi uses for a product.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Birthday Blossoms

Welcome ladies,

I have used part of the sentiment from Birthday Blosssoms set (#c139471, #w139167). "Celebrate You" is the actual stamp but I only wanted to use "celebrate", so once I stamped this, I punched celebrate with the Word Window punch (#119857), then attached this to the Night of Navy card punched with the Washi Label (#138296). The card stock is Daffodil Delight (#121680), Night Of Navy (#106577), Whisper White (#106549) and Brights DSP Stack (#138434). The flowers are from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set and stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#126970). The co-ordinating punch for these flowers is the Pansy Punch (#130698). The small flowers are punched with the Tree Builder punch (#138295). The ribbon is Whisper White 5/8" Satin Ribbon (#134549).

The count down to Christmas continues. This time next week it will all be over for another year. I hope you all have a great week.

Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Birthday Blossoms

Hello,

The beautiful DSP is from the Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper (#139588). It may be part of the Christmas designs but still can be used for other occasions as I have done on this birthday card.

The other Cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Real Red (#106578). The stamp set for the flowers, leaves and sentiment are from the Birthday Blossoms set (#c139471, #w139167). The flowers are stamped with Real Red ink (#126949) and punched with the Pansy Punch (#130698). The leaves and sentiment are stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I punched the small flowers for the centre of the flowers using the Tree Builder Punch (#138295) from the Gold Glimmer Paper (#133719). These were glued to the flowers with the 2-way Glue Pen (#100425). The red card and DSP were cut with the Lots of Labels Framelits (#138281).

Beautiful Bunch

Hello,

Here's a pretty card using the flower from the Beautiful Bunch stamp set (#c134282, #w134279).

The Cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and the Color Me Irresisible Specialty Designer Paper (#138439) was cut with the Deco Label Collection Framelits (#130102). The flower was stamped with Watermelon Wonder ink (#138323) and the leaves with Mossy Meadow (#133645) and Pear Pizzaz (#131180). The leaves are from the Vintage Leaves stamp set (#p138802) and these were cut with the Leaflets Framelits (#138283). The flowers were punched with the Fun Flower punch (#133785) and I used a Stampin' Dimensional (#104430) between the 2 layers of the flower. I added one of the gorgeous Something Borrowed embellishments to the flower (Whoops! I just realised this is retired). I actually meant to use the Winter Wonderland embellishments (#139621). The sentiment is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167) and the broken line at the bottom of the card is from Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154).

Birthday Blossoms

Hello,

This card has several layers, using Daffodil Delight card (#121680), Whisper White (#106549), Basic Black (#121688) and Daffodil Delight from the  Brights Designer Series Paper Stack (#138434).

The flowers from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167) are stamped with Daffodil Delight ink (#126944) and punched with the Pansy Punch (#130698). I punched some small flowers with the Tree Builder Punch (#138295) from the Black Glimmer Paper (#139605) which is found in the holiday catalogue and these were glued to the flowers. I used the new Fine Tip Glue Pen (#138309) which is also in the holiday catalogue. Happy Birthday was stamped with the Basic Black Archival stamp pad (#140931). I used the Framelits from the Project Life Cards & Labels (#135707). The square under the flowers, the sentiment and the bottom flower were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Thanks for your support.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Lovely as a Tree

Hello,

Lovely as a Tree stamp set (#c127793, #w128655) is one of the most popular sets and I have used it today to create a very simple card

I used Whisper White card (#106549) and Cucumber Crush (#138342). The other stamp sets are Gorgeous Grunge (#c130517) - used under the sentiment, and Birthday Blossoms (#c139471, #w139167) for the sentiment. The inks are Cucumber Crush (#138324) and Tip Top Taupe (#138325). The Framelit used for the sentiment is from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits (#135707).

It's already the weekend again. Where has the week gone?

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Birthday Blossoms

Hello,

Over the next few days I am challenging myself to make cards using Whisper White card (#106549) and stamps. I usually use lots of accessories but I wanted to show that you can still make some lovely cards with only a small number of products.

The stamp set is Birthday Blossoms (#c139471, #w139167). I used Pink Pirouette ink (#126956), Rich Razzleberry (#126950) and Pear Pizzaz (#131180). I used the Pansy Punch (#130698) to punch the flowers and these were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) are added to the centre of the flowers.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card using the basics.

That's all for today.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Birthday Blossoms

Hello ladies,

A quick and easy card using Everyday Chic DSP (#138445) for the background.

The Cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Real Red (#106578). The flowers and sentiment from Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #139167) are stamped with Real Red ink (#126949). The Pansy punch (#130698) is used for the flowers and the Ovals Collection Framelits was used to   cut the sentiment. I added White Perfect Accents (#138416) to the flowers. As I usually do, I attached the sentiment and one of the flowers with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Have a great weekend.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Bohemian DSP Butterfly

Welcome,

I have had 3 grandchildren for the weekend (ages 3, 5 and 7) and they all love to do craft so we have had a great time making cards etc. I have also managed to get some done for myself so here is today's card.

The DSP is from the Bohemian DSP (#138446), which I cut the solid butterfly from using the Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135). Then with White Vellum (#106584) I cut the butterfly from the Butterflies Thinlits (#137360). I used Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) for the centre of the Butterfly and the butterfly was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The base card is Island Indigo (#124390), and the other cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and Crushed Curry (#131288). The embossing folder I used on the Very Vanilla card is Elegant Dots (#138287) - yes my favourite at the moment. The circles are cut with the Circles Collection Framelits (#130911). Happy birthday comes from the Birthady Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167). This was stamped with Island Indigo ink (#126986) and the Framelit to cut this was one from the Project Life Cards and Labels (#135707). You might notice I cut the left end off straight instead of having points at both ends.

I hope you have had a great weekend as I have.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Awesomely Artistic

Hello again,

The flowers from Awesomely Artistic stamp set (#c139950, #w138694) have been heat embossed with VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Embossing powder (#109131).

The Cardstock is Melon Mambo (#1199980) and Whisper White (#106549). The sentiment from Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #c139167) is stamped with Melon Mambo ink (#126948). The butterfly is cut with the Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135) and attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The ribbon is Silver 1/8" Ribbon (#132137).

Today's Tip:
With the more intricate Framelits, here is an easy way to remove all the little pieces. After running the Framelit and card through the big shot, the card is still attached to the Framelit. Using tumble dryer sheets, fold them till you have 4-6 layers. Place the Framelit onto the sheets and run through the Big shot again making your "sandwich" as usual.

Remove the Framelit and the card is still attached to the dryer sheets. These sheets have a waxy surface which is why the pieces stay attached.

Carefully lift the edge of the butterfly and the small pieces will stay attached to the card. You don't have to push all those pieces out. There may be an odd one or 2 that you have to remove.

You will find this so much quicker, especially on the larger butterflies.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Glimmer Paper

Hello,

I made this card for my daughter's birthday. Hope she likes it.

The base card is the Whisper White A4 Thick cardstock (#140490). This was embossed with the Fluttering Embossing folder (#139304). The Elegant Eggplant card was cut with the Circles Collections Framelits (#130911), then embossed with the Elegant Dots folder (#138287). The bow made with the Bow Builder punch (#137414) also uses the Elegant Eggplant card and I added a White Perfect Accent (#138416) to the bow. The ribbon is Gold 1/8" Ribbon (#134583). I cut the butterfly from the Gold Glimmer Paper (#133719) using the Butterflies Thinlits (#137360). The sentiment is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#139167) and stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink (#126969). This was cut with one of the Chalk Talk Framelits (#129983). This particular Framelit was a bit long for the sentiment so once I cut it, I re-cut one end off.
I then made an envelope using the white from Neutrals Envelope Paper (#138310). I stamped some butterflies from the Papillion Potpourri stamp set (#c123759, #w132058) on the envelope.

Have a good week.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.
