Merry Christmas

Hello everyone,

Firstly I would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and best wishes for the New Year. I am taking a short break from the blog but will be back after Christmas with lots more cards.

The Dove is from the Dove of Peace stamp set (#w139800). I stamped and heat set this with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129) on Soft Sky card (#131292). The other cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Night Of Navy (#106577). The Deco Labels Collection Framelits (#130102) cut the labels which I then attached the dove to using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I embossed the white label with the Softly Falling embossing folder (#139672). The sentiment is from the Peaceful Wreath stamp set (#p139794) and stamped with Night of Navy ink (#126970).

Thanks for your support this year.

Wishing you Peace, Joy, Love and good health this Christmas.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

The top of the bauble is cut from the Gold Foil Sheets (#132622). I also embossed the bauble with the Softly Falling embossing folder (#139672). The bauble is attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Christmas Banner

Hi Ladies,

This is the Christmas Banner we made at this months classes. A bit of extra work to make all the flowers but well worth it.

A close up -

And one of the ladies has pink and silver for her Christmas decorations so made this one-

The flowers were made using the Reason For the Season stamp set (#p139730) and the co-ordinating Festive Flower Builder Punch (#139682). For these flowers I punched 8 of the Medium petals and 2 of the double petals for each flower. I used Cherry Cobbler card (#121681) and Ink (#126966). The pink one used Melon Mambo card (#119980) and ink (#126948). The Lots of Labels Framelits (#138281) were used to cut the banners. The card for this is Night Of Navy (#126970) and Whisper White (#106549). Smokey Slate card (#131179) was for base of the Joy banner. The Whisper White card was embossed with the Softly Falling embossing Folder (#139672). The letters for Peace were cut from Crushed Curry card (#131288) with an electronic cutter. Joy letters were from Melon Mambo card. The stars on the joy banner were cut from the Silver Glimmer Paper (#135314) using the Stars Framelits (#133723). The ribbon is Whisper White 5/8" Satin Ribbon (#134549). The banners and flowers were attached to the ribbon using hot melt glue. I used Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details (#124117) for the centre of the Cherry Cobbler flowers on the Crushed Curry centres. The Joy banner used Silver Glimmer Paper (#135314) for the centres.

That's all for another day.

Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Peaceful Pines

Hi,

When you are making lots of Christmas cards it's probably best to keep them quick and easy as this one is. You could also reduce the number of layers for an even quicker card.

I used Cherry Cobbler (#121681) and Whisper white card (#106549). The Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing folder (#139672) was used on the Whisper White card. The presents were stamped with  Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966) and the Christmas Tree was stamped with Garden Green ink (#126973). Both these images are from the Peaceful Pines stamp set (#p139728). Of course I wouldn't be able to line up the presents as well as I did without the help of the Stamp-a-ma-jig (#101049).

As I said, a quick and easy card.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Bird Builder punch

Hello,

It's easy to forget some of the older products when a new catalogue arrives, so today I have gone back to another old favourite - the Bird Builder punch (#117191) but also used some new products as well.

The cardstock I have used is Whisper White (#106549), Red Foil Sheets (#139607), Red Glimmer Paper (#121790) and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (#135315). I embossed the base card with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#139672). Thinking of You is from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (#c126707, #w132070) and stamped with Real Red ink (#126949). The image from World of Dreams stamp set (#c134184, #w134183) was stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#126975). I attached the bird which was punched with the Bird Builder Punch with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

It's the end of another busy week. Not sure where the time goes.
Have a great weekend.

Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Flurry Of Wishes

Hello ladies,

Here is another of Stampin' Up! products that co-ordinate, which makes cardmaking so easy. The Flurry of Wishes stamp set (#p139732) co-ordinates with the Snow Flurry punch (#139680).

The Cardstock is Night Of Navy (#106577) and Whisper White (#106549). I stamped the snow flakes and sentiment using VersaMark (#102283) and White Stampin' Emboss powder (#109132), and this was then heat set using the Heat Tool (#129056). The snowflakes were punched before attaching them to the Whisper White card that had been embossed with the Softly Falling folder (# 139672). I added some Winter Wonderland Embellishments (#139621) to the card and snowflake.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies

Hello again,

Today's card uses some of the new products from the holiday catalogue. I knew I wanted these Framelits as soon as I saw them in the catalogue. They are the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies (#139670)

These also come in a bundle with the Jingle All The Way stamp set (#c140862, #w140861). Silent Night from this set is stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129). The Cardstock is Marina Mist (#121682), Mossy Meadow (#133683), Wild Wasabi (#111850), Pear Pizzaz (#131290) and Whisper White (#106549). I cut each of the dies in white, then one of each in the 3 different green colours and I cut the houses, trees and horse from these and added the green card over the top of the white card. The Marina Mist card was embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder (#139672).
I was really pleased with the finished card.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!
Lesley.
