Serene Silhouettes

Hi everyone,

Another small Sneak Peak on today's card - using the Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (#141898). This is a glitter pen which you can use for accenting stamped image. I have used the gold here on the flowers so hope it shows up in the photo.

I have used Whisper White (#106549), Wild Wasabi (#111850) and Early Espresso (#121686) cardstock. I embossed the Wild Wasabi card with the Woodgrain embossing folder (#127821). The stamp sets used are Serene Silhouettes (#c127324, #w132073), Papillon Potpourri (#c123759, #w132058) and Tag Talk (#c134252, #w134249). The inks are Wild Wasabi (#126959), Daffodil Delight (#126944) and Early Espresso (#126974). I have used the Lots of Labels Framelits (#138281) to cut the White and Early Espresso cards. The punches are the Label Bracket (#132153) and Bitty Butterfly (#129406). These were then attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Hello,

The beautiful DSP is from the Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper (#139588). It may be part of the Christmas designs but still can be used for other occasions as I have done on this birthday card.

The other Cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Real Red (#106578). The stamp set for the flowers, leaves and sentiment are from the Birthday Blossoms set (#c139471, #w139167). The leaves and sentiment are stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I punched the small flowers for the centre of the flowers using the Tree Builder Punch (#138295) from the Gold Glimmer Paper (#133719). These were glued to the flowers with the 2-way Glue Pen (#100425). The red card and DSP were cut with the Lots of Labels Framelits (#138281).

Christmas Banner

Hi Ladies,

This is the Christmas Banner we made at this months classes. A bit of extra work to make all the flowers but well worth it.

A close up -

And one of the ladies has pink and silver for her Christmas decorations so made this one-

The flowers were made using the Reason For the Season stamp set (#p139730) and the co-ordinating Festive Flower Builder Punch (#139682). For these flowers I punched 8 of the Medium petals and 2 of the double petals for each flower. I used Cherry Cobbler card (#121681) and Ink (#126966). The pink one used Melon Mambo card (#119980) and ink (#126948). The Lots of Labels Framelits (#138281) were used to cut the banners. The card for this is Night Of Navy (#126970) and Whisper White (#106549). Smokey Slate card (#131179) was for base of the Joy banner. The Whisper White card was embossed with the Softly Falling embossing Folder (#139672). The letters for Peace were cut from Crushed Curry card (#131288) with an electronic cutter. Joy letters were from Melon Mambo card. The stars on the joy banner were cut from the Silver Glimmer Paper (#135314) using the Stars Framelits (#133723). The ribbon is Whisper White 5/8" Satin Ribbon (#134549). The banners and flowers were attached to the ribbon using hot melt glue. I used Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details (#124117) for the centre of the Cherry Cobbler flowers on the Crushed Curry centres. The Joy banner used Silver Glimmer Paper (#135314) for the centres.

That's all for another day.

Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Guy Greetings

Hello again,

I'm back after a busy 3 days catering for a high tea with the help of my daughter. I do enjoy cooking but it's also nice to be back in the craft room. Today I have made a masculine card.

The colours I have used are Very Vanilla card (#106550) with Soft Suede card (#119982) and ink (#126978). I used the Brick Wall embossing folder (#138288) on the Very Vanilla card. Before embossing, I brayered Soft Suede ink onto the folder so the embossed areas of the "grout" we're coloured. Then using a dauber (#133773) with Soft Suede ink I lightly coloured the bricks. The Lots Of Labels Framelits (#138281) were used, and I stamped on these with the Guy Greetings stamp set (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178). One of the lovely Antique Brads (#117273) was added to the top of frame. The frame was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Here are some photos of some of the goodies from the high tea - all home baked.

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.
