The woodgrain embossing folder is great for a masculine card. I find that this folder can emboss too much and break the fibres but by adding a piece of vellum card (# 106584 - page 160) inside the embossing folder with the card stock it embosses better. The same piece of vellum can be used repeatedly.
I cut the oval before embossing the base card. The piece around the oval cutout was cut using 2 oval Framelits from Early Espresso.
The stamped image is attached inside the card using Dimensionals. I left plenty of area around the image to allow it to be attached.
