I have never been a real fan of colouring my stamped images, but just had to try the new Stampin' Blendabilities Markers and I am hooked. I just love them.
This was my first attempt and I was very happy with the results.
Using the new Bloom With Hope stamp set (#c 133952, #w 133949) - one of the Hostess sets from the new catalogue. I stamped the flowers using the Tuxedo Black Momento Pad. This ink allows you to use the Blendabilities without the ink smudging. The Blendabilities come in sets of three - light, medium and dark. I used Cherry Cobbler (#130995) for the flowers and Old Olive (#130999) for the stems. I used the Colour Lifter (#129369) to add some highlights to the flowers. The sentiments are also from the Bloom with Hope set. These were stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966). I used the Decorative Label Punch (#120907) for the sentiment at the bottom of the card. The ribbon is Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding (#120992). The cardstock is Cherry Cobbler (#121681) and Whisper White (#106549).
I'm looking forward to playing with these Blendabilities on more cards. Stampin' Up! have created some beautiful stamps which are perfect for use with Blendabilities.
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.
