Layering Squares Framelits Scrapbook page

Hello,

Here's a very simple scrapbook page using the Layering Squares Framelits (#141708).

The base page is Smokey Slate from the 12x12" Neutrals Collection (#131187). The other cardstock used is Basic Black (#121688), Real Red (#106578) and Whisper White (#106549). The Real Red card and the photos were cut with the Layering Square Framelits. The black squares were cut with the trimmer. The hardest part of this page is probably lining up all the squares and getting the correct distance between each square. I found an easy way to do this. I measured the 3 squares together (240mm), then took this measurement from the 304mm base size which left 64mm. I then divided this amount by 4 which is 16mm to give me equal spacing. I cut strips this size, then placed them on the page to easily arrange the squares as shown below. This makes it very easy to ensure everything is in line.

This is a great way to use photos that have a lot of background that can be cut from the photo and highlight the subject.

Till next time,

Happy Stamping!

Lesley.
