It's great when you can use a stamp set for more than one type of celebration. I have used the Merry Patterns stamp set (#144973) which is basically a Christmas set but I have used the candles for this birthday card.
The base card is Elegant Eggplant (#108614) and the card front is from the Year Of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper (#144640). The candles and Happy Birthday are stamped on Whisper White card (#106549). I stamped the outline of the candles using VersaMark (#102282) and Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder (#109129), which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then stamped the candles using Wisteria Wonder ink (#126985) and Elegant Eggplant (#126969), and the flames with Crushed Curry (#131173). The white oval was cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits (#141706) and for the Elegant Eggplant oval I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372). I attached the ovals with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) over the 5/8" Burlap Ribbon (#141487). Happy Birthday is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167) and stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink. I added some of the Gold Faceted Gems (#144141) to finish the card.
