I love simple and elegant cards and I think this card is Simply Elegant - even if I do say myself!! (And looks much better in real life).
The Subtle 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#143706) embossed the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) just beautifully. This was attached to the Grapefruit Grove base card (#146995). The Designer Series Paper is the gorgeous Petal Promenade (#146913). I cut the middle using the smallest of the label dies from the Stitched Seasons Framelits (#149013). What I love about these framelits is that the stitching is on both sides of the cut edge. Tomorrow’s card will use the piece I cut from the inside. I attached a piece of the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (#146907) between the gold foil and the Designer Series Paper. The butterfly from the Painted Glass stamp set (#147458) was stamped with Grapefruit Grove ink (#147142), then cut with a die from the Stained Glass Thinlits (#146347). I added some glitter to the butterfly wings with the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897) and added 2 Faceted Dots (#146910) to the body of the butterfly. This was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The sentiment is also stamped with Grapefruit Grove ink and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).
