Christmas card with Stars At Night

Hello again,

Another beautiful Christmas card using the Stars At Night Hybrid Embossing Folder (#162006). Today I have chosen gold with Very Vanilla.

The large star was cut and embossed with the Stars At Night Hybrid Embossing Folder which embosses and cuts at the same time. The die fits into the embossing folder to be able to do this. The small stars are cut with a separate die. These stars were cut from Gold Foil Sheets (#132622).

I dry embossed the Very Vanilla card (#106550) with the embossing folder. I attached a piece of the Shining Brightly Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162378) to the left side of the Very Vanilla card. This was matted with Crushed Curry card (#131288). I wrapped the retired ribbon around the card front and attached this to the Very Vanilla base card.

The large star was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach the small stars.

The sentiment from the Brightest Glow stamp set (#159542) was stamped with Wild Wheat ink (#161651) and cut with an All That Die (#159078). This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I also attached an Adhesive-Backed Star Trinket (#162010) to the top corner of the card.

Stars At Night Hybrid Embossing Folder

Hello stamping friends,

The Stars At Night Hybrid Embossing Folder (#162006) can be used as a normal embossing folder or you can use it with the die with the 3 connected stars which embosses and cuts the stars at the same time. I have only used one of these stars on these cards.

I have used the Holographic Trio 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#161744) for the background and stars on these 2 cards. The cards are basically the same, I just reversed the colours of the Holographic paper as I wasn't sure which one I would like, but I like both. For the background I just used the embossing folder. For the large stars I used the Embossing Folder with the die. You can see the embossing on the large star particularly on the 1st card. The small stars are cut with another die from the same set.

The sentiment is from the Brightest Glow stamp set (#159542) and stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138) for the first one and Starry Sky ink (#159212) for the 2nd card. The sentiment was cut with a die from All That dies (#159078).

I wrapped the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon (#156408) around the card fronts. The large stars and sentiments were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) for the small stars.

I added the Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels (#158987) to the centre of the small stars on the second card.

All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hi my friends,

The designer paper used on this card is from the All About Autumn 6”x6” Specialty Designer Series Paper ($162178). There is a beautiful range of designs suitable for a range of cards and includes copper foil on the geometric designs.

I attached the 2 pieces of DSP to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). For the leaves I randomly added colours to a piece of card using Blending Brushes (#153611). The inks used are Old Olive (#147090), Pecan Pie (#161665), Daffodil Delight (#147094) and Pumpkin Pie (#147086). The leaves were cut with a die from the Autumn Leaves Dies (#162185). These were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Thinking of You” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink, then cut with a Something Fancy die (#160424). This was also attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I always say it is so easy to make a quick & easy card with such beautiful Designer Series Papers.

Rustic Christmas Tree

Hello friends,

Something very different today with this rustic Christmas Tree. (I saw a photo of one similar some time ago and just loved it.)

I got hubby to get some old pieces of timber (he has plenty hanging around) and cut them, attached them to a stick, then attached this to a piece of old ply. He had an old box which I used to hold the pinecones.

The letters and large star are cut with a Scan & Cut machine. I used Crushed Curry card (#131288), Cherry Cobbler card (#1216810 and Shaded Spruce card (#147006) for the letters and Distressed Gold 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159237) for the large star.

The smaller stars are cut with the Stars At Night dies (#162006) using Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) and Silver Foil Specialty pack (#156457). I used the Night Of Navy from the Soft Shimmer Paper Combo Pack (#161750) for the small star on the large gold star at the top.

All the letters and stars were glued with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110722).

I think at Christmas I will add some greenery amongst the pinecones.

Handcrafted Elements dies

Hi friends,

This gorgeous bauble is from the Handcrafted Elements dies (#162330).

The bauble was cut from the Silver Foil Specialty Pack (#156457) and Real Red card (#106578). I attached these together with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).
The Designer Series Paper is Tartan Foil Specialty (#162332) and I have used the Pebbled Path colour. I attached the DSP to the Real Red card front. I wrapped the Real Red Ribbon from the Real Red & Garden Green Ribbon Combo Pack (#159577) around the card front then attached it to the Basic White base card (#104430).

“Merry Christmas” is from the Hope & Peace stamp set (#159773) and stamped with Real Red ink (#147084). A Countryside Corners die (#161471) was used to cut the sentiment and the edges daubered with Real Red ink.

The bauble and sentiment were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Such an easy card especially if you have lots of cards to make.

Pansy Dies

Hello & welcome again,

I am loving these Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes (#162177) for any occasion, not just Christmas.

It’s been a longtime since I have used the Pansy dies (#155680) so decided to use them for this card. For the flower I used Highland Heather card (#147010), Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) and Crushed Curry card (#131288). For the leaves I used Lost Lagoon card (#133686) and Pretty Peacock card (#150886).

I cut the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and the Basic White card (#159228) with dies from the Scalloped Contours (#155560) and taped these to the Brushed Gold card. The pansy was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and the leaves with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The centre of the pansy was also cut with the dies using Gold Foil.

“Congratulations” is from the Inked & Tiled stamp set (#161158). This was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) and cut with a Cracker & Treat Box die (#159182), then attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The embellishments are from the Blooming Pearls (#162238).

Rays Of Light & Night Divine

Hello everyone,

Another beautiful Christmas card which I offered at my full day Christmas card class, using the Rays Of Light background stamp (#158925).

I stamped the Rays Of Light on the Basic White card (#159228) with VersaMark (#102283) and added the Silver Stamping Emboss Powder (#155555). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was matted with Starry Sky card (#159264) then attached this to the Basic White base card.

The “nativity scene” was cut with the Night Divine dies (#161996) using the Holographic Trio Specialty Paper (#161744). This was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The stars were cut using the Stars At Night dies (#162006) and also using the Holographic Specialty Paper. The sentiment is from the Merriest Trees stamp set (#162043) and this was stamped with Starry Sky ink (#159212). Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to attach this to the card.
