Inspirational Sketches

Hello friends,

The bird from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set (#162684) and the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper (#162977) work well together as shown here on this card.

This is a slimline card measuring 21cm x 10.5cm. The base card is Basic White (#159228).

I dry embossed the Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder which is part of the Softly Sophisticated Bundle (#162947), a Sale-a-bration product. The DSP is from the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper and taped to the Blueberry Bushel card.

I cut the Daffodil Delight card (#121680) and Basic White card with the Thoughtful Expressions dies (#162821). I dry embossed the white piece with one of the Basics Embossing Folders (#161598). These were attached to the card.

The bird was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138) then this was fussy cut and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I added glimmer to the bird with the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).

The leaves were cut with a Notes Of Nature die (#163203) using Garden Green card (#108605) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink and cut with a retired Stitched Rectangles die. I used the Blueberry Bushel embellishments from the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack (#161623) to finish the card.

Flight and Airy Designer Series Paper

Hello friends,

The Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper (#162977) is very popular and is a Sale-a-bration product so is free with a $90 order (in Australia).

I fussy cut the gorgeous birds from the DSP. I stamped the sentiment from the Notes Of Nature stamp set (#162630) with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611). This Basic White card (#159228) and the Fresh Freesia card (#155614) were cut with Thoughtful Expressions dies (#162821).

I matted a piece of Basic White card with Fresh Freesia card, then attached the die cut Fresh Freesia card. I dry embossed a piece if Basic White card with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder from the Softly Sophisticated Bundle (#162947), another Sale-a-bration product (with a $180 order). This card was attached to the card front.

The card with the sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I attached the birds on top with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

I cut the leaves with dies from the Notes Of Nature dies (#163203) using Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) and Garden Green card (#108605). These were backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The embellishment are from the Tinsel Gems Three Pack (#161624).

Flight and Airy Designer Series Paper

Hello & welcome,

A very popular Sale-a-bration product is the Flight & Airy 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#162977). I have fussy cut these birds from this DSP. Lucky I like fussy cutting as I seem to be doing it a lot lately.

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (#161600) then matted with Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment from the Everyday Details stamp set (#162861) was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). The sentiment, Blueberry Bushel card & Vellum (#106584) were cut with the Thoughtful Expressions dies (#162821). I dry embossed the Vellum with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder (#161598). The sentiment was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). When I attach the vellum I only use adhesive where it can’t be seen, so I used some tape just under the sentiment. I then taped the Blueberry Bushel card to the card front.

The fussy cut birds were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I cut the leaves with a Wild Ferns die (#162655) using Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), then attached them to the card.

The Blueberry Bushel embellishments are from the Tinsel Gems Four Pack (#161623).

Wild Ferns

Hello stampin’ friends,

Today I have made 2 cards the same except for the background which gives a different look to the 2 cards.

All the leaves are cut with the Wild Ferns dies (#162654). I used Mossy Meadow card (#133683), Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) and Gold Foil Sheets (#132622). To get the 2 pieces of the leaves as shown below, use the same die to cut the 2 pieces. I attached the Mossy Meadow die cuts as shown below using Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

I cut the gold leaves with the other die and cut each leaf off so they are easier to place where I wanted them on the card. The Soft Sea Foam leaves are cut with two other dies. The gold foil & Soft Sea Foam card were backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

The card front for the first card is from the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper (#162977) and attached to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). For the second card I dry embossed the Very Vanilla card front with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder (#158804). This was matted with Mossy Meadow card, then attached to the Very Vanilla base card. The leaves were attached to the cards.

The Rectangular Soft Sea Foam card was cut with another Wild Ferns die and attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I still have a few sentiments lying around from when I cut & embossed these with the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder (#162927) and Gold Foil, so used them on these cards. They were attached with Mini Glue Dots.

I am having a problem with photos on the blog, so I am asking if you could please help. I find if I go back more than a month I can’t see the photos on the blog however all the written information is there. I can see the photos for the last month. So today is 26th January and I can see photos back to 26th December. Then I can’t see photos until 4th April 2023, but can see them before that. Very strange!! Are you having the same problem. I would appreciate if you could let me know if it’s working properly or not for you.

Wild Ferns dies

Hello friends,

I needed a card for a 90th birthday, and I have used the Wild Ferns dies (#162654). I have just realised I have used all dies and no stamping for this card.

The ferns and the labels are cut with the Wild Ferns dies. I used Mossy Meadow card (#133683), Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) and Soft Sea Foam card (#147012).

“Happy Birthday” was cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594). I used Adhesive sheet (#152334) on the back of the gold foil, making it easy to attach them to the background.

“90” is cut with retired Large Numbers dies and I glued these to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

The Designer Paper is from the Flight & Airy 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#162977), which is one of the Sale-a-bration products. This was matted with Mossy Meadow card, then attached to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). This card is a larger card which is an A4 folded in half.

“BOB” is cut with the Mini Alphabet dies (#162934) also from Gold foil sheets. These letters are in one die and each letter is 1.9cm high so are a great size for cards - not too large.

To finish the card I added the 3 dragonflies from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743).

Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper

Hello my stamping friends,

There is a variety of beautiful designer papers included in the Sale-a-bration products and one is the Flight & Airy 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#162977) and is available (in Australia) with a $90 order. There is a range of designs in subtle colours in this pack.

I cut the DSP and the Boho Blue card (#161733) with the Deckled Rectangles dies (#159173). The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder which is included in the Softly Sophisticated Bundle (#162947), another Sale-a-abration product ( with a $180 order). This bundle includes a stamp set. I daubered the edges with Boho Blue ink (#161650), then wrapped the Boho Blue Textured Ribbon (#161631) around the card front. This was taped to the Basic White base card. I attached the Rectangles to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Best wishes” from the Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) was stamped with Boho Blue ink and cut with a Deckled Circles Dies (#162286). I used a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional (#144108) and Mini Glue Dot (#103683) to attach the sentiment.

Everyday Details Bundle

Hi crafty friends,

I love when I get new products and get a chance to play with them like the Everyday Details Bundle (#162865).

The nest is from the Everyday Details stamp set (#162861) and I stamped this Pecan Pie ink (#161665) on Basic White card (#159228). This was fussy cut. The bird is from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set (#162684) and stamped with Real Red ink (#147084). This was also fussy cut.

“Happy Birthday” from the Pansy Patch stamp set (#154999) was also stamped with Real Red ink. I used the Everyday Details Dies (#162864) to cut the sentiment, circle and the dots on the strip of Lost Lagoon card (#133686). The DSP for the circle and the Pecan Pie DSP for the card front is from the Flight & Airy 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#162977), a sale-a-bration product.

I used Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends (#161680) to colour the leaves on the nest and for the eggs I used 1000 (#159465) & 700 (#159463) from the Natural Tones. The nest & bird were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was added to the eggs & bird. Blooming Pearls (#162238) were the embellishments used

Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper

Hello again my friends,

With Christmas almost here it is a very busy time for everyone (including me) so apologies for not posting a blog every day over the next week or two. Today I am showing you one of the beautiful designer papers from Sale-a-bration which starts on 4th January along with the new mini catalogue. This pack is Flight & Airy 12”x12” DSP (#162977) and is a free product with an order of $90 (in Australia).

It is easy to make a quick and easy card with beautiful DSP. I matted the DSP with the birds using Boho Blue card (#161733). The pink DSP is the reverse side of the birds paper. This was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Boho Blue ink (#161650), then cut with a Cracker & Treat Box die (#159182). I attached the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

So yes a very easy card which you can substitute any designer paper.
