Floral Delight Designer Series Paper

Hello friends,

The Floral Delight 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#164700) has a beautiful range of bright & cheerful florals with more subtle designs on the reverse side. I have used one of the designs for the card front.

I folded the top corner over to reveal the reverse side of the DSP. I used a Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to adhere this in place. This was matted with Old Olive card (#106576) and attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The Hexagons were cut with the Meant To Bee dies (#166582) using Old Olive card backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). These were attached to the card front.

“Happy Birthday” was cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594). For the background of the sentiment I used Pecan Pie card (#161726) and Daffodil Delight card (#121680), also backed with Adhesive Sheet, for the words. These were adhered together then attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

I stamped the butterfly from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set (#163490) with Pecan Pie ink (#161665) onto Crushed Curry card (#131288). This was cut with a Sketched Butterflies Die (#163491) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Faux Glass Dots (#164060) were added to the card.

Fancy Borders Bundle

Hi again friends,

The Fancy Borders Bundle (#165381) is a sneak peek from the upcoming new Online Exclusives available from 4th March. The bundle includes the Fancy Borders stamp set (#165379) and Fancy Borders dies (#165380.

I stamped the image of leaves from the Fancy Borders stamp set using Pretty Peacock ink (#150083). I turned the stamp around and re-stamped it leaving a space for the ribbon & sentiment. I coloured the leaves with Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends (#161680). This was then cut with one of the Fancy Borders dies. I cut the Lost Lagoon card (#133686) with another die from this set. These were then taped to the Pretty Peacock card ($150886).

The Wild Wheat Rustic Striped Ribbon (#164061) is on the Last Chance list, so available while stocks last. This was wrapped around the card front, then the card front was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

“Celebrate” was cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594) using Pretty Peacock card and Gold from the Silver & Gold Adhesive-Backed Glimmer Paper (#162288). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment, and the Flat Adhesive-backed Pearls (#160449) were added to finish the card.

Beautiful Butterflies

Hi friends,

A beautiful butterfly card using the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle (#164615). Included in this bundle is the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set (#164608) and the Hybrid Embossing Folder (#164614). This hybrid folder consists of the Embossing Folder and dies which work together or separately, giving lots of choices.

The largest of the butterfly dies is used to create a butterfly shaped card front. I cut the Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) 13.5cm x 18cm and scored along the longer side at 9cm. The die was placed on top of this card, lining the top straight piece of the die with the score line. This was then run through the Stampin’ Cut & Embossed machine (#149653).

Once it is cut just trim the 2 sides at the score lines to remove the unwanted area around the butterfly.

I stamped the details of the wings from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set onto this butterfly using VersaMark (#102283) giving a slightly darker tone to the card.

I then stamped the whole butterfly with VersaMark onto Azure Afternoon card (#161728) and added Black from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165679) and set this with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with the co-ordinating die. This butterfly was attached to the butterfly card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430), just in the centre of the butterfly so you can lift the wings up. I added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) for some glimmer to the top butterfly.

I matted a piece of Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper (#164607) with Basic Black card (#121688) and attached it to the inside of the Blueberry Bushel card. “Celebrate” is cut with a Wanted To Say die (#161594) with Blueberry Bushel card backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) and this was attached to the DSP under the butterfly.

You could use this card as is, however I decided to add it to a Basic White card base (#159228) so I had more area for writing inside. The embellishments are from the Tinsel Gems Three-Pack (#161624).

Full Of Life Designer Series Paper

Hello again my friends,

For this bright & cheery card I have used the Full Of Life 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#163357).

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with a Fun Patterns Embossing Folder (#163790). I attached a piece of the Full Of Fun DSP on the side, then matted the card front with Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) and attached it to the Basic White base card.

I cut the square from the same DSP with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183), then matted this with Blueberry Bushel card.

“ Celebrate” was cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594) using Blueberry Bushel card for the background and the white Glimmer from the Berry Burst, Old Olive & White Glimmer Paper (#163769). The white glimmer paper was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), making it easy to attach it to the background. “Celebrate” was then attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The embellishments are from the Tinsel Gems 4 Pack (#161623).

Layers Of Beauty

Hello crafty friends,

The Layers Of Beauty Bundle (#163519) includes the stamp set, dies and decorative masks. These masks make it so easy to colour the stamped image.

I stamped the floral image from the Layers Of Beauty stamp set (#163514) with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). Then using the numbered masks I applied the ink with Blending Brushes (#153611). The inks used are Real Red (#147084), Granny Apple Green (#147095) and Daffodil Delight (#147094). This was then cut with the Layers Of Beauty Dies (#163518).

The leafy frame from the Citrus Blooms dies (#163294) was cut from Granny Apple Green card (#147014), backed with Adhesive Sheets (#152334). There is an outline die as well as the detailed leafy die to cut this piece. I also cut a piece of Basic White card with the outline die and dry embossed this with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder (#163483). The detailed die-cut piece was adhered to the White card, then this was taped to the Basic White base card.

I cut the sentiment with dies from the Wanted To Say dies (#161594) using Real Red card (#106578) and Basic White card. The white card was backed with Adhesive sheet, making it easy to attach to the Real Red background.

The stamped floral image was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The Adhesive-Backed Pearl Trio (#163319) embellishments were added to the card.

Eyelet embossing folder

Hi friends,

Today’s card is a variation of yesterday’s card. Instead of adding black ink to the embossing, I sanded the higher areas of the embossing to show the white through.

I dry embossed the Basic White card ($159228) with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder (#163414). Then I coloured this using Blending Brushes (#153611) with the following inks - Crushed Curry (#147087), Gorgeous Grape (#147099), Summer Splash (#163809), Petunia Pop (#163811), Lemon Lime Twist (#147145) and Azure Afternoon (#161663).

Then using fine sand paper, I gently sanded this card so the white is exposed. I splattered the card with Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add some glimmer.

I cut the Basic Black card (#121688), Lemon Lime Twist card (#144250) and Basic White card with the Countryside Corners Dies (#161471). The Basic White card & Lemon Lime Twist card were dry embossed with one of the Basics Embossing Folders (#161598).

“Happy Birthday” is cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594) using Basic Black and Lemon Lime Twist card. The Lemon Lime Twist card was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The sentiment was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The silver Adhesive -Backed Sparkle Gems (#161288) were added to the card.

Fun Patterns embossing folders

Welcome again my friends,

Here is a vibrant birthday card using one of the Fun Patterns Embossing Folders (#163790) to make my own “designer paper”.

I dry embossed a piece of Basic White card (#159228) with one of the Fun Patterns Embossing Folders. Then using Blending Brushes (#153611) I added ink randomly on the card. The inks used are Azure Afternoon (#161663), Crushed Curry (#147087), Gorgeous Grape (#147099), Petunia Pop (#163811) and Lemon Lime Twist (#147145). I then wiped the Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) over the card allowing the higher embossed areas to pick up the ink

I dry embossed the Lemon Lime Twist card (#144250) with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (#161598). I matted the 2 pieces of card with Basic Black card (#121688).

“Happy Birthday” was cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594) using Basic Black card and Basic White card (#159228). The white card was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) making it easy to attach to the black die cut card. The sentiment was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The base card is Basic White. The Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems (#161288) were added to the card. I also splattered some Wink Of Stella (#141897) over the card.

Wild Ferns dies

Hello friends,

I needed a card for a 90th birthday, and I have used the Wild Ferns dies (#162654). I have just realised I have used all dies and no stamping for this card.

The ferns and the labels are cut with the Wild Ferns dies. I used Mossy Meadow card (#133683), Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) and Soft Sea Foam card (#147012).

“Happy Birthday” was cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594). I used Adhesive sheet (#152334) on the back of the gold foil, making it easy to attach them to the background.

“90” is cut with retired Large Numbers dies and I glued these to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

The Designer Paper is from the Flight & Airy 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#162977), which is one of the Sale-a-bration products. This was matted with Mossy Meadow card, then attached to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). This card is a larger card which is an A4 folded in half.

“BOB” is cut with the Mini Alphabet dies (#162934) also from Gold foil sheets. These letters are in one die and each letter is 1.9cm high so are a great size for cards - not too large.

To finish the card I added the 3 dragonflies from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743).

Inspirational Sketches

Welcome again everyone,

An easy card today and a great masculine card. The mushrooms are from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set (#162684).

I stamped the mushrooms with Pecan Pie ink (#161665) onto the Meandering Meadows 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#162735). This DSP was matted with Pecan Pie card (#161726) then attached to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550).

“Happy Birthday” was cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594). I used Daffodil Delight card (#121680) for the detailed words on top and Pecan Pie card for the base of the sentiment. The Daffodil Delight card was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) making it easy to attach to the base. This was then attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

I said it was an easy one!!

Lifetime Of Love Bundle

Hi my friends,

Today you can buy from the new Mini Catalogue and get some free products from Sale-a-bration. There are so many gorgeous products in both these catalogues. For this card I have used the Lifetime Of Love Bundle (#162584) and the Forever Love 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162573).

The Pretty Peacock & Gold flowers are from the DSP and cut with a co-ordinating die from the Lifetime Of Love Dies (#162583). I love when the dies co-ordinate with images in the DSP.

I stamped the same floral image from the Lifetime Of Love stamp set (#162574) onto Very Vanilla card (#106650) with Lost Lagoon ink (#161678). I then dry embossed this card with one of the Basics Embossing Folders (#161598). I matted this with Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and Pretty Peacock card (#150886). I punched the corners with the Very Best Trio punch (#159878). The base card is also Very Vanilla.

I cut the fine leaf wreath and the 3 leaves using dies from the Lifetime Of Love dies. This Lost Lagoon card (#133686) was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) before cutting with the die. These were attached to the card front. The die cut flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I cut “Celebrate” using dies from the Wanted To Say dies (#161594) with Pretty Peacock Card and Gold Foil sheet. The gold Foil was also backed with Adhesive Sheet. I use adhesive sheet when cutting any fine detailed pieces as it is so much easier to attach them to the card. The small gold flowers are also cut with the Lifetime Of Love dies.

Autumn Leaves

Hello friends,

These leaves are cut with the Autumn Leaves dies (#162185).

I coloured some (retired) Shimmery White card with Pumpkin Pie ink (#147086), Daffodil Delight ink (#147094), Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) and Crumb Cake ink (#147116). I added the inks with a Water Painter (#151298) then sprayed it lightly with water to allow the colours to blend. Once this was dry I cut the leaves with the Autumn Leaves dies. The veins of the larger leaf was cut from Rose Gold Specialty Paper (#159139) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) and attached to the leaf.

Another Autumn Leaves die was used for the rows of dots on the Very Vanilla card front (#106550). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the leaves to the card.

“Happy Birthday” was cut with a die from the Wanted To Say dies (#161594), also from the Adhesive Backed Rose Gold Specialty Paper.

I daubered the edges of the card front with Pumpkin Pie ink, then this was attached to the Very Vanilla base card.

Stepper card

Hello friends,

I do love fancy fold cards so today I have made a stepper card which is an easy one to make. This does fold flat for posting but I will have to make an envelope to fit. Thought this card would be great for all ages and I will be making more with different stamp sets.

The Basic White base card (#159228) is 28cm x 15.2cm (11” x 6”) and this was scored along the long side at 7.6cm, 15.2cm, 19cm, 22.8 & 25.4cm (3”, 6”, 7&1/2”, 9” & 10”). I cut 3 pieces of Basic White card -14.5 x 7cm, 14.5 x 3.2cm & 14.5 x 2cm (5&3/4” x 2&3/4”, 5&3/4” x 1&1/4” & 5&3/4” x 3/4”)

The 3 pieces of Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) are 10.5cm square (4&1/8” square), 8cm square (3&1/8” square) and 6cm square (2&3/8” square).

The Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper (#163170) is 9.8cm square (3&7/8” square), 7.3cm square (2&7/8” square). The Basic White card is 5.5cm square (2&1/8” square).

I dry embossed the Basic White pieces of card with one of the Basics Embossing Folders (#161598). The edges of these were daubered with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138) then attached to the card.

The balloons from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set (#161450) were stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink (#159216), Lemon Lime Twist ink (#147145) and Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). These were cut with the co-ordinating Beautiful Balloons dies (#161456).

I taped the diamond shapes to the card, then attached the balloons with Mini Glue Dots (#152334). Happy Birthday was cut with dies from Wanted To Say dies (#161594). The Basic White card for the sentiment was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) and the Blueberry Bushel card was attached with Mini Glue Dots.

Irresistible Blooms

Hi my friends,

The flowers & leaves on this card are from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set (#161140).

When stamping the flower I used the Stamparatus as I wanted to use ink as well as Clear embossing powder. I stamped the flower with Berry Burst ink (#147143). I cleaned the stamp without moving it then re-stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) and added the Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). The leaves were stamped with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097). The flower and leaves were cut with the Irresistible Blooms dies (#161149).

The Gold paper from the Joyful 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#161980) was also cut with an Irresistible Blooms die. This was attached to the Coastal Cabana card (#131302) which was dry embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406). I attached the card front to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The flower was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) for the leaves.

“Celebrate” was cut with a Wanted To Say die (#161594). I used a Coastal Cabana card which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). I love using this adhesive for the finer detailed die-cuts as it makes it easy to attach them to the card. The embellishments are from the Tinsel Gems Three-Pack (#161624).
