Butterfly Gala

HI everyone,

Today I have made 3 cards, showing cards for the beginner crafter, the casual crafter and the avid crafter.

The first card is for the beginner crafters. I have used Crushed Curry card (#131288) for the base and Very Vanilla for the card front (#106550) for all cards. The butterflies and sentiment are from the Butterfly Gala stamp set (#p148580) and stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#147087). The splotches are from the Beauty Abounds stamp set (#c148726).

On the 2nd card I have stamped some flourishes and small splotches from Beauty Abounds stamp set with Crumb Cake ink (#147116). I have also stamped an extra butterfly and punched it with the Butterfly Duet punch (#148523) and attached this on top of the stamped butterfly on the card. I used a Stampin’ Dimensional (#104430) for this. I added the Pearl Basic Jewels (#144219) to the body of the butterfly.

For the 3rd card I also stamped some of the larger splotches with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). I punched one corner with the Detailed Duet Punch (#146320) and sponged the edges with Crushed Curry ink. I stamped extra butterflies with VersaMark (#102283), embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The ribbon is the 3/8” Scalloped Lace Trim (#149593) and I have used the Pearl Basic Jewels on the card and butterflies. I have coloured the pearls before removing from the sheet using Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#144585).

So you can see that you can make a lovely card, by just simply stamping or you can step it up as much as you like using additional supplies.

Have a great day.
