Hi everyone,
If you are unsure what colours work together, you can check out the Color Theory information on pages 132 & 133 in the Annual Catalogue. For this card I have chosen Monochromatic colours, which are colours next to each other. The colours I used are Shaded Spruce and Shy Shamrock.
The leaves were cut with Flowers Of Beauty dies (#163375), using Shaded Spruce card (#147006) and Shy Shamrock card (#163796). I andhered Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the back of the cardstock before cutting with the dies.
The Basic White base card (#159228) was dry embossed with the So Swirly Embossing Folder (#163791) and matted with the Shaded Spruce card. I wrapped the Shy Shamrock Bordered Ribbon (#163787) around the card front. This was then attached to the Basic White base card.
The sentiment from the Unbounded Love stamp set (#163378) was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink (#147088). I used the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch (#162888) to cut the sentiment and the Shaded Spruce card under the sentiment. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The dragonflies from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743) were added to the card.
