Fresh Cut Flowers

Hi everyone,

I have used the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set (#159018) for the flowers on this card. The Fresh Cut Stems Dies (#160251) to co-ordinate with the stamp set are currently on the clearance rack at a discounted price ($24 in Australia) so a fantastic deal if you are looking for these dies. These are available while stocks last.

The floral image was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). I used Watercolour Pencils from the Assortment 1 (#141709) and Assortment 2 (#149014). The colours are Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Garden Green, Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue & Crushed Curry. I coloured parts of the image with the pencils then blended the colour with the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897). This  spreads the colour slightly and adds glimmer at the same time.

This image was then cut with the Fresh Cut Stems dies. The finer leaves were cut with another die from Granny Apple Green card (#147014) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

For the card front I used the Loveliest Layers Decorative Masks (#160517) and spread over the Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645). I allowed it to dry, which doesn't take long, and re-positioned the mask to fill in the blank spaces and repeated with the Embossing Paste. Once this was dry I matted it with Basic Black card (#121688).

I wrapped the Metallic Mesh Ribbon (#153550) around the card front and attached it to the Basic White base card.

“Thank You” from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set (#161140) was stamped with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) and cut with an All That Die (#159078).

The Granny Apple Green leaves were attached to the card, then the flowers and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). A Dragonfly Trinket (#160520) was added to the sentiment using Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Fresh Cut Flowers

Hi friends,

The clearance rack has some extra products added including the Fresh Cut Stems Die (#160251) which co-ordinates with the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set (#159018). While stocks last this die set is only $24 instead of $60 so a fantastic bargain and I don't think they will be available for very long. I have used this stamp set & die for the flower on this card.

The flower was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with the die.

The scallops on the Gold from the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper (#156844) was cut with a die from the Scalloped Contours (#155560) then I dry embossed this with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317). This was attached to the Bermuda Bay card (#131286), then to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The smaller scalloped Bermuda Bay rectangle was also cut with a Scalloped Contours Die. The flower image was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment from Flowering Tulips (#157672) was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#147096) and cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820). This was attached with Mini Stampin Dimensionals (#144108).

Splendid Day

Hello & welcome my friends,

The Splendid Day Suite (#159681) is a beautiful set which I have neglected a bit lately, so here is an easy card using some of this suite.

The beautiful Splendid Day 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#159666) was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). Sending Hugs is from the Splendid Thoughts stamp set (#159668) and stamped with Mint Macaron ink (#147106). This was cut with a Splendid Stems Die (#159676).

The Stitched Greenery Die (#155451) was used to achieve the stitched leaves on the Mint Macaron card (#138344). 

I cut the leaf with another die from Splendid Stems using Rose Gold 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159139). As usual for more detailed or fine detail I have Adhesive Sheet (#152334) adhered to the back of the card before cutting with dies. This makes it easy to attach to the card. A border die from the Fresh Cut Stems dies (#160251) was used to cut the Rose Gold detailed border which I attached to the Mint Macaron card. This was then attached to the card. The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#158130) were added to the card.
