Easy Scrapbooking

 Hi again everyone,

Another quick & easy scrapbook page. I print my own photos so I can get different size photos allowing me to have more photos on a page and for variety.

For the background I used Very Vanilla 12”x12” card (#144239). I cut the Shaded Spruce card (#147006) for the serrated edging with the die from the Round We Go Dies (#1637290. This is the die to make the rosette. This was taped to the Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper (#164944), then attached to the background. I used the retired Stitched Greenery die on the DSP for the stitched leaves.

I matted some of the photos with Shaded Spruce card and taped them to the page. The leaves are cut with the Autumn Leaves dies (#162185) using Crumb Cake card (#121685) & Pecan Pie card (#161726). These were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The birds are from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743).

Thoughtful Expressions Bundle

 Hello friends,

A clean & simple card  using the flowers from the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set (#162815).

I stamped these flowers with VersaMark (#102283) onto Real Red card (#106578). I added White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). A co-ordinating die from the Thoughtful Expressions dies (#162821) was used to cut this.

I used the (retired) Stitched Greenery Die for the stitched leaves on the Basic White card front (#159228). This was matted with Real Red card. The Real Red Ribbon from the Real Red & Garden Green Ribbon Combo Pack (#159577) was wrapped around the card front, then this was attached to the Basic White base card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Inked & Tiled stamp set (#161158) with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). This white card and the Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) were cut with Countryside Corners dies (#161471). These were taped together & attached to the card. The flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are from the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack (#161623).

Fine Shimmer Paper Pack

Hi again,

I have used a variety of dies for the flowers & leaves on this card. The card front is from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (#160428) and I used the Stitched Greenery die (#155451) to create the stitched leaves.

The stamped flowers are from the Petal Park stamp set (#160571) and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The Petal Park Builder Punch (#160576) was used to punch the flowers. There are actually 3 different size flowers on this stamp so I have stamped it 3 times as I wanted all 3 flowers the same size. I added the colour to the centre of the petals using the Melon Mambo Watercolor Pencil from Assortment 1 (#141709) and Gorgeous Grape Watercolor Pencil from Assortment 2 (#149014). I then blended the colour using the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897).

I used the Silver Foil Specialty Paper (#156457) to cut the leaves and flower. I had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of the foil. The dies used for these are the Framed Florets (#160623), Around The Bend (#160649), Irresistible Blooms (#161149), Queen Bee (#160484) and Dainty Delight (#160674). I also cut & embossed 2 flowers with the Brushed Bouquet Dies (#160473) from Pearlescent Specialty Paper (#154291). I lightly daubered these flowers with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611). For the small flowers I used the Fresh Freesia from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack.

The sentiment from the Framed Florets stamp set (#161815) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This and the silver under the sentiment were cut with Beautiful Shapes Dies (#158046).

Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430), Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the sentiment and flowers. Adhesive-Backed Studs (#160767) were added to the card.

Wild & Sweet

Hello again,

I have been asked to make a card with this cute little koala from the Wild & Sweet stamp set (#158775).

The koala was stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) on Basic White card (#59228). I cut this card and the Mossy Meadow card (#133683) with the Layering Diorama Dies (#155565).

The leaves from the Forever Fern stamp set (#152559) were stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111) then cut with the Forever Flourishing Dies (#152714).

The Stitched Greenery Die (#155451) was used to create the stitching on the Crumb Cake card (#121685), then this was matted with Mossy Meadow card and attached to the Basic White base card.

The matted koala was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Birthday Wishes” from the Nested Friends stamp set (#160322) was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and cut with a Beautiful Shapes die (#158046). This was also attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Blessings Of Home

Hello stamping friends,

A pretty card using the beautiful floral image from the Blessings Of Home stamp set (#157930).

I stamped this image with Tuxedo Black memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). The Stampin’ Blends to colour this are Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Pale Papaya (#155519), Balmy Blue (#154830), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Fresh Freesia (#155518) and Granny Apple Green (#154885). This was then cut with a die from the Flowers Of Home (#157938).

The background is the Blushing Bride from the Brushstrokes 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159250). I used the Stitched Greenery Die (#155451) for the stitched effect. This paper was matted with Basic Black card (#121688), then attached to the beautiful Iridescent Foil from the Rose Gold 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159139). This foil picks up all the colours of the rainbow which makes it hard to photograph. The base card is Basic White.

The flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves were cut from the same Rose Gold Foil which had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) attached to the back and I used the Flowers Of Home dies.

The sentiment, also from the Blessings Of Home stamp set was stamped with Tuxedo Black memento ink and cut with a Sending Die (#159271). The embellishments are from the Fine Sparkle Adhesive-backed Gems (#159967).

TIP: If you don’t want to “waste” your specialty paper when using them to matt the card, as I have done on this card, you can cut a piece out of the centre which can’t  be seen once the other card is attached.

Fresh Cut Flowers

Hi stamping friends,

The flowers here are from the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set (#159018).

The flowers were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). This was coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Balmy Blue (#154830), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Real Red (#154899), Granny Apple Green (#154885 and Old Olive (#154892). This was cut with the now retired Fresh Cut Stems dies.

I used the Stitched Greenery Die (#155451) on the Basic White card front. This was matted with Basic Black card (#121688) and Granny Apple Green card (#154885) then attached to the Basic White base card.

A die from the Chic Dies (#158815) was used to cut the Silver Foil (#156457) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). This was attached to the card front and the flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Thinking Of You” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then cut with a Frosted Flurry die (#159811). Stampin’ Dimensionals were also used to attach the sentiment. The Silver Festive Pearls (#159963) were added to the card. Of course I added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the flowers & leaves as I like that bit of shimmer on my cards.

Amazing Silhouettes stamp set

Hello again,

This tree is from the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set (#157814).

This image was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) onto Evening Evergreen card (#155575). The Heat Tool (#129056) was used to set this. I then lightly coloured the embossed image with Soft Succulent ink (#155778) and a Blending Brush (#153611). The corners were punched with the Very Best Trio Punch (#159878). When using this shape on the punch there is a little trick. Punch the first corner then flip the card over to punch the second corner to get a mirror image. Probably best to experiment on scrap card first.

The Stitched Greenery die (#155451) was used to create the “stitched leaves” on the Gold Distressed Specialty Paper (#159237). The Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon (#155573) was wrapped around the card front.

“Thinking Of You” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Evening Evergreen ink (#155576) and cut with a Potted Succulent die (#154330). This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Fresh Cut Flowers

Hello stamping Friends.

How often do we use the main image in a stamp set and not use the smaller images. On this card I have used 2 of the smaller images of the Cut Fresh Flowers stamp set (#159018).

The Stamparatus (#148187) is the perfect tool to position multiple images perfectly on the card. I have drawn a 10cm square & diamond onto the grid paper on the Stamparatus as shown below. The diamond wasn’t used for this card.

I positioned and stamped the image onto the card which was placed on the square. This was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708).

I turned the card and re-stamped on the card

Continue stamping the 4 images and repeat with the 2nd image, which I stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#147096).

I coloured the flowers & leaves with Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends (#155518), Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends (#155519), Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends (#154889) and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends (#154894).

Happy Birthday from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) was stamped with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611). This and the Fresh Freesia card (#155614) were cut with Stylish Shapes dies (#159183).

I used the Stitched Greenery die (#155451) on the Fresh Freesia card for the background. This was attached to the Basic White base card. The base card is 13cmx13cm. The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I added Fresh Freesia Sequins from the Adhesive Backed Sequins & Gems (#159972) to the centre of the flowers & the sentiment.

Check out all the Perfect Partners here - lesleyjendra.stampinup.net

I stamped the flowers with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). This was cut with a Fresh Cut Stems die. The Stampin’ Blends used to colour this image are Daffodil Delight (#154883), Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Highland Heather (#154887), Granny Apple Green (#154885) & Old Olive (#154892).

I stamped the Rays Of Light stamp (#158925) onto Very Vanilla card using VersaMark (#102283). This was embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I cut this with a die from the Seasonal Labels Dies (#156299). I also used the same die to cut a piece of Brushed Metallic Cardstock (#153524), cut it in half and attached this to the back of the embossed tag.

The flowers were attached to the Tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I cut a small Brushed Metallic flower using another die from the Fresh Cut Stems which had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) attached to the back. The Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) was attached to the card.

Happy Birthday from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Highland Heather ink (#147103), then cut with a Stylish Shapes Die (#159183).

I used the Stitched Greenery die (#155451) for the Very Vanilla card front. The edges were daubered with Highland Heather ink. The tag was attached to the card.

Splendid Day

Hello & welcome my friends,

The Splendid Day Suite (#159681) is a beautiful set which I have neglected a bit lately, so here is an easy card using some of this suite.

The beautiful Splendid Day 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#159666) was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). Sending Hugs is from the Splendid Thoughts stamp set (#159668) and stamped with Mint Macaron ink (#147106). This was cut with a Splendid Stems Die (#159676).

The Stitched Greenery Die (#155451) was used to achieve the stitched leaves on the Mint Macaron card (#138344).

I cut the leaf with another die from Splendid Stems using Rose Gold 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159139). As usual for more detailed or fine detail I have Adhesive Sheet (#152334) adhered to the back of the card before cutting with dies. This makes it easy to attach to the card. A border die from the Fresh Cut Stems dies (#160251) was used to cut the Rose Gold detailed border which I attached to the Mint Macaron card. This was then attached to the card. The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#158130) were added to the card.

Don’t forget the Perfect Partners are only available till the end of September. These are dies available which co-ordinate with stamp sets which normally don't have any dies. Check out all the details here lesleyjendra.stampinup.net

Wild & Sweet stamp set

Hello crafty friends,

I was so excited to see this very cute koala in the upcoming annual catalogue, so here is a sneak peek of the Wild & Sweet stamp set (#158775).

I stamped the koala with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) onto Basic White card (#159228). I coloured the tree trunk with a Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend (#154882). The leaves were coloured with light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend (#154885). I fussy cut this stamped image.

I dry embossed the Brushed Metallic Cardstock (#153524) for the background with the Stitched Greenery die (#155451). This was then matted with Pear Pizzaz card (#131290). I backed another piece of Pear Pizzaz card with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) and cut 2 leaves with the Forever Flourishing Dies (#152714) and attached these to the card front.

The koala was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I cut a 3rd leaf without the adhesive backing as I was attaching this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

“Hello” is from the Forever Fern stamp set (#152559), stamped with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104) and cut with a Tasteful Labels Die (#152886). This was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and the Polished Dots (#158134) were added to the sentiment. The base card is Basic White card.

I added the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the koalas but I don’t think this shows in the photo.

The Tasteful Labels Dies are retiring.

Free As A Bird stamp set

Hello stamping friends,

These birds from the Free As A Bird stamp set (#149468) are still one of my favourite images and can be used for a variety of cards.

I stamped the birds with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). This was then fussy cut.

The stitching on the Pale Papaya card (#155669) was achieved with the Stitched Greenery Die (#155451). This was matted with Pumpkin Pie card (#108601), then attached to the Basic White base card.

I cut the triangles with a Stitched Triangles Die (#152710) and attached these to the card front. “Best Wishes” from the Art Gallery stamp set (#158201) was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink (#147086) and cut with a Tasteful Labels Die (#152886). Home & Garden Bundle

Welcome my stamping friends,

The Home & Garden Bundle (#157919) is great for masculine cards with a range of tools and masculine sentiments.

The spade, clippers and ladder are from the Home & Garden stamp set (#157910). I used Soft Suede ink (#147115) on Soft Suede card (#119982) for the spade & ladder, and Very Vanilla card (#106550) for the clippers. These were cut with the Garden Dies (#157918). The head of the spade was cut with another die from that set and I used the Brushed Metallic cardstock (#153524). This was attached to the spade with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The “timber” under the sentiment was stamped with Soft Suede ink on Very Vanilla card. This is from the On The Horizon stamp set (#157770) and cut with the co-ordinating die from the Horizon Dies (#157778). “Happy Birthday” is from the Blossoms In Bloom stamp set (#158283) and stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111).

A piece of Mossy Meadow card (#133683) was attached to the side of the Very Vanilla base card. I used the Stitched Greenery Die (#155451) for the stitching on the Pear Pizzaz card front (#131290). I stamped the grass from the On the Horizon stamp set with Mossy Meadow ink onto the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (#152494).

The tools & sentiment were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Sentimental Swirls

Hi friends,

The stamping on this card is all from the Sentimental Swirls stamp set (#157996).

I set up the swirl stamp on the Stamparatus (#148187) and stamped the swirl with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104) on Basic White card (#159228). Then I positioned the scalloped rectangle which was cut with a Stitched So sweetly die (#151690) onto the Stamparatus so when this was stamped it would match the image on the card front, but only seeing part of the image. The stitching on the card front was achieved with the Stitched Greenery die (#155451). The Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon (#155672) was wrapped around the card front, then it was matted with the Pale Papaya card (#155669). The small rectangle was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I stamped the flowers with Pale Papaya ink (#155670) - one on Basic White card and the other on Pale Papaya card (#155669) and these were punched with the Flowers & Leaves Punch (#155373). The small leaves were stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). The bird and sentiment were also stamped with Pale Papaya ink. “Hello” was cut with a Stitched So Sweetly die.

I added sparkle to the flowers & bird with the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897) and added the Genial Gems (#155500) to the flower centres and the card.

The flowers and sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Sale-a-bration Friendly Hello

Hello again,

I am loving the Friendly Hello stamp set & Designer Series Paper (#159990) which is a Sale-a-bration product. Due to some delays with some of these products, Sale-a-bration is being extended for a few more weeks so there is still time to gets some free products with qualifying orders. The Friendly Hello set which includes the stamp set & DSP is free with a $180 order (in Australia). There are other products with $90 orders.

I stamped the bird & flower image twice with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228), then fussy cut the images. I coloured them with the following Stampin’ Blends - Daffodil Delight (#154883), Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Fresh Freesia (#155518), Pool Party (#154894), Pale Papaya (#155519), Granny Apple Green (#154885) and Crumb Cake (#154882).

I used the Stitched Greenery Die (#155451) for the stitching on the Basic White card front, then this was attached to the Pool Party card (#124391). The base card is also Basic White. The striped paper is from the Friendly Hello DSP.

I lightly coloured the white side of the Heart & Home Doilies (#157956) with Pool Party ink (#147107) and a Blending Brush (#153611). Best Wishes from the Art Gallery stamp set (#158201) was stamped with Pool Party ink (#147107) then cut with the Messages die (#154422). The sentiment and the bird & flowers on the left were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) for the image on the right. The Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#158130) were my choice of embellishment for this card.

TIP: The Messages die is one die but it has 18 different cut outs for a range of sentiments. There are 2 stamp sets which co-ordinate with the die or you can choose other sentiments and use the appropriate cut-out from this die.

Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks

Hi my friends,

Todays card is very easy, using the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks (#158142).

I applied the Pale Papaya ink (#155670) with a Blending Brush (#153611) and using the flower mask with the less detail. Then using the other co-ordinating layer I applied the Pumpkin Pie ink (#147086). There is another mask with the leaves which I coloured with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). I then used the Stitched Greenery die (#155451) to achieve the stitching on the Basic White card front (#159228).

The sentiment is from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set (#158203) and stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink. I used the Messages Die (#154422) to cut this. The sentiment was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The edges of the card front was daubered with Pumpkin Pie ink, then attached to the Basic White base card.

As I said, a very easy card.

Positive Thoughts

Hello again friends,

All the stamped images on this card are from the Positive Thoughts stamp set (#151490).

The flowers and sentiment were stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052), the leaves with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102) and the feathers with Crumb Cake ink (#147116).  The flowers, leaves and feathers were cut with the Nature’s Thoughts Dies (#153586) and the sentiment with an Ornate Frames Die (#150664).

The cardstock is Basic White (#159228) and Soft Sea Foam (#147012). I used the Stitched Greenery Die (#155451) on the top layer and dry embossed the bottom layer with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (#152718).

Although there is a butterfly in the Positive Thoughts stamp set, I chose to cut a detailed butterfly using the Brilliant Wings Dies (#155523) from the Silver foil from the Silver Foil 12”x12” Specialty Paper Pack (#156457). The butterfly, one of the flowers and the sentiment were all attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) were attached to the sentiment, flower centres and the butterfly.

Poinsettia Petals

Hi again friends,

I have used the traditional red & green for this Christmas card using the beautiful poinsettia.

I used the Stitched Greenery Die (#155451) for the “stitching” on the Basic White card front (#159228). I attached the Real Red card (#106578) to the back of the cardfront. I wrapped the Metallic Mesh Ribbon (#153550) around the card front, then attached this to the Basic White base card.

The poinsettias from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set (#158251) were stamped with Real Red ink (#147084) and cut with the Poinsettia Dies (#153522). The leaves and flower centre were cut and embossed also with these dies using Garden Green card (#108605) and Real Red card. The flower was assembled with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I taped the leaves to the flowers and also used Dimensionals to attach the whole flower to the card.

The sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set was stamped with Real Red ink and a die from the Potted Succulents (#154330) was used to cut the sentiment. This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Some sparkle was added to the poinsettia using the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897).

Stitched Greenery Die

Hello friends,

I am loving this Stitched Greenery Die (#155451) which is great for backgrounds. I am sure it will be used on many of my cards in the future. Not sure why it took so long to get it.

I used this die on the Pearlescent Specialty Paper (#154291) and matted it with the Rich Razzleberry card (#119981). The base card is Shimmery White card (#121717).

I stamped the floral images from the Art Gallery stamp set (#158201) using Rich Razzleberry ink (#147091) on Shimmer White card. I used the stamping off method to stamp the background of the flowers for a lighter image and the darker areas are stamped normally. These were cut with the co-ordinating Floral Gallery dies (#154316). I taped the flowers on the right side of the card and used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the other flowers.

The detailed “circle” was cut with a die from the Encircled In Beauty Dies (#155546) using Rich Razzleberry card. The sentiment is from the Positive Thoughts stamp set (#151490) and also stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink. I used a Tasteful Labels Die (#152886) to cut this. The Rich Razzleberry cut-out was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Elegant Faceted Gems (#152464) were added to the card.
