Flourishing Phrases & Flourish Dies

Welcome friends,

I do like a bit of glitter on my cards, so there is plenty here with the Silver Glimmer Paper (#146960).

The base card is Gorgeous Grape (#147011) and I used Whisper White card (#106549) for the card front and flowers. I embossed the card front with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder (#152321). All the Silver Glimmer Paper cut outs were cut with the Flourish Dies (#141478) and glued to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). I stamped the flower twice from the Flourishing Phrases (#151407) using Highland Heather ink (#147103) and Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099). Did you know that you can heat emboss with any colour ink? I did it on these flowers and using the Stamparatus (#148187) makes it easy. I stamped with the ink first then cleaned the stamp, without moving the stamp or the card. I then stamped the image with VersaMark (#102283) and sprinkled it with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109130) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I fussy cut the 2 flowers, cutting the outside petals off the Highland Heather flower. I attached this flower to the larger flower using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) as well as to attach the larger flower to the card. “Happy Birthday” from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set (#c151331) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink and punched with the Classic Label Punch (#141491). I attached the Silver Metallic Thread (#138402) and the sentiment using Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) were added to the card and flower centre.

The retiring product on this card are the Flourishing Phrases stamp set, Flourish Dies, Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder, Silver Metallic Thread and Silver Glimmer Paper.

Animal Outing

Hello and welcome once again,

Some more of my favourite retiring products have been used here on today’s card. It’s always sad to see some of your favourite products go, but that makes way for more new and exciting products, and there are lots of those coming up in the new catalogue on 3rd June.

The cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and the DSP is from the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper (#151252). I embossed the Very Vanilla triangle with the Layering Leaves 3D Embossing Folder (#152321). The leaf border is from the Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (#149611). I coloured this with a Sponge Dauber (#133773) using Old Olive ink (#147090). This was glued to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The elephant from the Animal Outing stamp set (#c151281) was stamped with Smokey Slate ink (#147113). The scalloped squares were cut with the Layering Squares Dies (#141708) and the ovals with the Layering Ovals Dies (#141708). The sentiment is from the Botanical Bliss stamp set (#151284) and stamped with Old Olive ink. Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the ovals and squares to the card.

The retiring products used here are the Animal Outing stamp set, Botanical Bliss stamp set, Layering Leaves 3D Embossing Folder, Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper and Tropical Oasis DSP.

Have a great weekend,
Stay safe & keep crafting!!

Bird Ballard Designer Series Paper

Hello again friends,

One of the very popular papers is the Bird Ballard Designer Series Paper (#149592) and here I have fussy cut one of the images.

The base card is Calypso Coral (#124392) and the card front is Whisper White (#106549). I embossed part of the White card with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder (#152321). The sentiment from Painted Glass stamp set (#c148220) was stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#147101), then with VersaMark (#102283) and Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109130) was sprinkled over. This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The Stamparatus (#148187) was used to be able to perfectly line up the image with the ink and VersaMark. The ribbon is Whisper White 5/8” Flax Ribbon (#148764). I cut the Sparkle Glimmer Paper (#146957) with a die from the Frosted Frames Dies (#150658) and attached these with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the birds were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The 2019-2021 In Colour Faceted Dots (#149607) were also added to the card and I added some shimmer to parts of the birds and some flowers using the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897).

Have a great day.

Bird Ballard Designer Series Paper

Hi and welcome,

I have concentrated so much on Christmas cards recently, I decided I would take a break today and use some products from the Annual Catalogue. In fact I was doing a bit of a sort out and came across these birds from the Bird Ballard Designer Series Paper (#149592), so decided to use them on a card. I had already cut them for another project and didn’t use them.

The birds were fussy cut. The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and So Saffron (#108611). I embossed the So Saffron card with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder (#152321) and attached this to the Whisper White card front. The sentiment from the Painted Glass stamp set (#c148220) was stamped with So Saffron ink (#147109). I added some shimmer to the birds using the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897). The birds were glued to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Have a great weekend.
