Queen Bee

Hi again,

The Queen Bee bundle (#160485) consists of the Queen Bee stamp set (#160476) and the Queen Bee Dies (#160484).

The bee was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) onto So Saffron card (#108611). This was heat embossed with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056) then cut with the co-ordinating die. Happy Birthday was also embossed with Black Powder on Very Vanilla card (#106550). I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies (#151820) to cut the sentiment.

I stamped 2 corners of the Very Vanilla card front with an image from the Decorative Borders stamp set (#160513) using So Saffron ink (#147109). The “words” & splatters are from the Queen Bee stamp set. I stamped the words with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) and the splatters with Sahara Sand ink (#147117) which I stamped off for a lighter image.

The bee and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I cut the “honeycomb” with a die from the Queen Bee dies using So Saffron card (#108611) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). These adhesive sheets make it so much easier to attach detailed pieces to the card. I added some of the small pieces from the “honeycomb” (which would normally be thrown away) for the embellishments. I used the Clear Wink of Stella (#141897) on the honeycomb & “embellishments”.

The card front was matted with Basic Black card (#121688) and So Saffron card, then attached to the Very Vanilla base card.

Queen Bee

Welcome again,

These dainty flowers are from the Queen Bee stamp set (#160476) and coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

The flowers were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). The Stampin’ Blends to colour these are Soft Succulent (#155521), Fresh Freesia (#155518), Highland Heather (#154887), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Flirty Flamingo (#154884) and Pale Papaya (#155519).

The Queen Bee Dies (#160484) were used to cut these flowers, the leaves, bee and label for the sentiment. I used the Silver Foil (#156457) for the bee and Soft Succulent card (#155777) for the leaves.

For the card front I used the Rays Of Light Background stamp (#158925) to stamp on the Hello Irresistible 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#161139). This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was matted with Soft Succulent card and attached to the Basic White base card.

The Soft Succulent leaves and the bee was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). I usually use this adhesive for all detailed die cuts as it makes it so easy to attach them to the card. The floral images were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The Silver Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) was attached under the sentiment and the sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) were added to the card.

Queen Bee Bundle

Hi friends,

I have used the Queen Bee Bundle (#160485) for todays card. I love this gorgeous bee.

The floral images from the Queen Bee stamp set (#160476) were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and coloured with Stampin’ Blends. I used Granny Apple Green (#154885), Highland Heather (#154887) and Flirty Flamingo (#154884). The bee was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I added Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set this with the Heat Tool (#129056).

The floral images, bee, flowers and leaves were all cut with the Queen Bee Dies (#160484). For the die cut flowers I used Flirty Flamingo card (#141421) and Highland Heather card (#147010). I used Granny Apple Green card (#147014) and Gold Foil (#132622) for the leaves.

The sentiment was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052) and Highland Heather ink (#147103) and this was cut with another die from the Queen Bee dies.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front with the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder (#160766). I used the reverse side which looks great too. This was matted with Highland Heather card then attached to the Basic White base card.

The gold foil leaves were attached with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the other elements. The Enamel Dot Essentials (#160751) were added to the flowers & sentiment.
