Decorative Borders

Hello,

I hope you all had a relaxing Easter.

I have used more of the retiring products on this card including the Decorative Borders stamp set (#160513) for the stamped floral image.

I stamped this with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228) then coloured it with Stampin’ Blends - Calypso Coral (#154881), Soft Succulent (#155521) and Pale Papaya (#155519). The fancy border was cut with the Delicate Edges Dies (#159180). I threaded the Gold Ribbon from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack (#161633) through the die cut border. 

The sentiment is from the Flowering Tulips stamp set (#157672) and this was stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#154881). The Basic White card was attached to the Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160837) then attached to the Basic White base card.

The butterflies were cut with the Designer Tags Dies (#159165) from the Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty DSP and attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The embellishments are the Gold Festive Pearls (#159963).

The retiring products are the Decorative Borders stamp set, Flowering Tulips stamp set, Delicate Edges dies and the Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty DSP.

Decorative Borders stamp set

Hello crafty friends,

Another easy card today, this time using the Decorative Borders stamp set (#160513).

The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). I then fussy cut one edge. I used the following Stampin’ Blends to colour this - Fresh Freesia (#155518), Granny Apple Green (#154885) and Flirty Flamingo (#154884).

The sentiment is from the Friends Are Like Seashells (#158203) and stamped with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611).

The Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper (#160834) was dry embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317) and the white card was attached on top. This was matted with Fresh Freesia card (#155614) and attached to the Basic White base card. The embellishments are the Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls (#160449) and I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the floral image.

Adorable Owls

Hi again everyone,

Just a reminder that Sale-a-bration ends on 28th February so only a few days to go to get those free products (with a qualifying order). The Adorable Owls (#160269) is one of the stamp sets available and I have used one of the adorable owls on this card today.

I stamped the owl with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). The floral image from the Decorative Borders stamp set (#160513) was also stamped with memento ink. The Stampin’ Blends used to colour these images are Sweet Sorbet (#159224), Balmy Blue (#154830), Pumpkin Pie (#154897), 700 & 800 from the Medium Light Natural Tones (#159463), Parakeet Party (#159220), Daffodil Delight (#154883) & Granny Apple Green (#154885).

The corners of the Basic White card & the Sweet Sorbet card (#159266) were punched with the Very Best Trio Punch (#159878).

I used 2 of the circles from the Stylish Shapes Dies (#159183) to cut Sweet Sorbet card for the frame round the owl. I also used the larger circle to cut the owl, then this was attached back in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The frame was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The sentiment is from the Dainty Delight stamp set (#161078) and stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink (#159216). The 2 labels for the sentiment were cut with dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The embellishments are from the Iridescent Pastel Gems (#160429). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the owl.

Around The Bend

Hi again everyone,

The Around The Bend bundle (#160650) is one of the products used on todays card.

I stamped the line & dots from the Around The Bend stamp set (#160853) onto Basic White card (#159228) with Tahitian Tide ink (#159210). The scallops were cut with a die from the Around The Bend dies (#160649). I then stamped the corner floral image from the Decorative Borders stamp set (#160513) with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). This image was coloured with Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blends (#159221), Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends (#159220) and Daffodil Delight (#154883). This white card was attached to the Dry Brushed Metallic 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160837). I matted this with Tahitian Tide card (#159262) and attached it to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment from Dainty Delight stamp set (#161078) was stamped with Tahitian Tide ink and a die from the Tailor Made Tags (#155563) was used to cut this. I threaded the Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) through the tag and attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The flower, flower centre, leaves and hearts are all cut with the Around The Bend dies. I used Tahitian Tide card for the flower & hearts and Gold Fine Shimmer Paper  (#160428) for the leaves and flower centre. The leaves & hearts had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) adhered to the back before cutting with the dies.

I added the White Pearlized Enamel Effects (#156310) to the hearts. This does take a bit of time to dry so best to do this last and put the card aside to dry.

Decorative Borders

Hello stamping friends,

I was just going to stamp a simple card today which I have done, but couldn't resist using some dies as well.

I stamped the flowers from the Decorative Borders stamp set (#160513) using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). The Stampin’ Blends to colour this are Sweet Sorbet (#159224), Granny Apple Green (#154885) and Daffodil Delight (#154883). I added glimmer to the image with Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink (#159216). This white card and the Sweet Sorbet card (#159266) underneath were cut with dies from the Scalloped Contours dies (#155560). This was attached to the Basic White base card.

A very easy but pretty card.

Queen Bee

Hi again,

The Queen Bee bundle (#160485) consists of the Queen Bee stamp set (#160476) and the Queen Bee Dies (#160484).

The bee was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) onto So Saffron card (#108611). This was heat embossed with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056) then cut with the co-ordinating die. Happy Birthday was also embossed with Black Powder on Very Vanilla card (#106550). I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies (#151820) to cut the sentiment.

I stamped 2 corners of the Very Vanilla card front with an image from the Decorative Borders stamp set (#160513) using So Saffron ink (#147109). The “words” & splatters are from the Queen Bee stamp set. I stamped the words with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) and the splatters with Sahara Sand ink (#147117) which I stamped off for a lighter image. 

The bee and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I cut the “honeycomb” with a die from the Queen Bee dies using So Saffron card (#108611) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). These adhesive sheets make it so much easier to attach detailed pieces to the card. I added some of the small pieces from the “honeycomb” (which would normally be thrown away) for the embellishments. I used the Clear Wink of Stella (#141897) on the honeycomb & “embellishments”.

The card front was matted with Basic Black card (#121688) and So Saffron card, then attached to the Very Vanilla base card.

Hand-Drawn Dots

Hello friends,

I have used a variety of new products on this card with the Hand-Drawn Dots Background stamp (#160508) for the background.

I stamped the dots with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed these with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set them with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was attached to the Poppy Parade card (#121694), then attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The floral image from the Decorative Borders stamp set (#160513) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). I then fussy cut the image. The following Stampin’ Blends were used for the colouring - Poppy Parade (#154958), Granny Apple Green (#154885) and Balmy Blue (#154830). Shimmer was added using the Clear Wink OF Stella (#141897).

The hexagons were cut with a die from the Something Fancy Dies (#160424). I dry embossed these with the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders (#157980), daubered the edges with Poppy Parade ink (#147050) and attached them to the background.

The sentiment from Beautifully Happy stamp set (#160804) was stamped with Poppy Parade ink and cut with another die from the Something Fancy Dies. The Beautifully Happy stamp set is a Sale-a-bration product. The sentiment & floral image were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Dragonfly Trinkets (#160520) were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683)

Decorative Borders

Hi stamping friends,

The Decorative Borders stamp set (#160513) has a lovely variety of images and are great for colouring or just stamping.

I stamped the image on the 2 corners of the Basic White card (#159228) using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The Stampin’ Blends to colour the images are Polished Pink (#155520), Highland Heather (#154887), Granny Apple Green (#154885) and Daffodil Delight (#154883).

The corners of this card and the Polished Pink card (#155711) were punched with my favourite punch - Very Best Trio Punch (#159878). The Basic White card was dry embossed with the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder (#158655). I attached the Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon (#155714) to the card.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Shaded Summer stamp set (#155783) and stamped with Polished Pink ink (#155712). The sentiment & the Polished Pink card under the sentiment were cut with Something Fancy Dies (#160424). This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) were add to the sentiment & card.
