Sea Life Dies

 Hello & welcome again my friends,

I have used the Sea Life Dies (#155684) to cut the fish and seaweed on this card.

I dry embossed the Balmy Blue card (#147007) using the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (#154309). This was matted with Pacific Point card (#116202), then attached to the Basic White card (#159228).

The fish and seaweed were cut from the Ombre Specialty Paper (#155784). The large fish and seaweed were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) for the small fish.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Blossoms In Bloom stamp set (#152684) and stamped with Pacific Point ink (#147098). This was then cut with the Messages Die (#154422) and attached to the card with Mini Dimensionals.

The Messages die does co-ordinate with 2 stamp sets - Many Happenings (#155001) and Many Messages (#154510) with a great range of sentiments but also great to cut a variety of sentiments from other sets, so very versatile.

Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle

Hi friends,

There’s probably not a lot of stamp sets or products that could be suitable for everyone - ladies, guys and children, but I think the Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle (#156205) is one of these.

The base card and card front is Basic White (#159228). I used Balmy Blue card (#147007) for the 3 rectangles. These were cut at 4cm x 8.5cm. The white embossed card was cut at 3.5cm x 8cm. These were embossed with the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder (#152700) and I lightly daubered these with Balmy Blue ink (#147105).

I have stamped the shells, starfish and sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set (#154368). The inks used are Balmy Blue (#147105), So Saffron (#147109) and Crumb Cake (#147116). After stamping, I cut the shells and starfish with the Seaside Seashells Dies (#156095). The shells were then dry embossed with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (#154309) and the sentiment was cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820). The shells were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I also added some glitter to the shells with the Clear Wink Of Stella Glimmer Brush (#141897).

Seashells 3D Embossing Folder

Hi everyone,

You can make a very easy card with the beautiful Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (#154309).

I dry embossed the Champagne Foil Sheet (#144748) with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder. This was attached to Cherry Cobbler card (#121681), then onto the Very Vanilla card (#106550).

I stamped the sentiment from the Many Messages stamp set (#154510) with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083). The “Happy Birthday” and “congratulations  are positioned together on the stamp, so instead of cutting them separately with the co-ordinating Messages Die #(#154422), I cut them with the Stitched Nested Labels dies (#149638). The smaller banners are also cut with the Nested Labels dies. The sentiment was then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I coloured the Pearl Basic Jewels (#144219) with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends (#154880) before attaching them to the card.

Gilded Leafing Embellishment

Hi Ladies & guys,

I have had fun playing with the new Gilded Leafing Embellishment (#154560) on these seashells from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set (#154368) and I love the finished product.

To use the Gilded Leafing, stamp the images of the shells with VersaMark (#102283) then add Heat & Stick powder (#156110) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The powder becomes sticky once heated. Then carefully add the Gold Gilded Leafing over the stamped images, press the gilded leaf firmly onto the image then using a firm brush, wipe the excess away. The excess can be added back into the rest of the leafing so it’s not wasted. The cardstock I used for the shells was Very Vanilla (#106550), Blushing Bride (#131287) and So Saffron (#108611). Next I cut the shells with the die from the Seaside Seashells Dies (#156095) and dry embossed with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (#154309). Dry embossing these shells made a huge difference to the look of the shells.

The card front is Seaside Spray (#150889) and dry embossed with the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder (#152700). I lightly daubered over the embossed areas with Seaside Spray ink (#150085), then the cardfront was attached to the Very Vanilla base card. 

The sentiment is from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set. I stamped this using the Stamparatus (#148187) with Seaside Spray ink. Then I re-inked it with VersaMark and added Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109130) and set with the Heat Tool. This gives a shine to the coloured ink. The sentiment was then cut with an Ornate Frames Die (#150664).

I cut pieces of the seaweed using the Seaside Seashells Dies from Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) and used the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) to add some glitter to the seaweed. These were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The shells and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Seashells 3D Embossing Folder

Welcome friends,

I love when there is so much versatility in a suite, like the Sand and Sea Suite (#155980). This suite collection includes a stamp set, dies, embossing folder, designer series paper, specialty paper and embellishments, including stickers.

On this card I have chosen to use the embossing folder for the background. However you could cut with dies, stamp and emboss the same image, so it’s very versatile.

I dry embossed the Pearlescent Specialty Paper (#154291) using the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (#154309). Then I lightly daubered the shells and seaweed using the following inks - So Saffron (#147109), Seaside Spray (#150085), Crumb Cake (#147116), Blushing Bride (#147100) and Soft Sea Foam (#147102). This embossed card was then attached to the Brushed Metallic 12”x12” Cardstock (#153524), then attached to the Soft Sea Foam card base (#147012).

I stamped the sentiment with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104) and the star fish were stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink. Both these images are from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set (#p154368). The starfish were cut with a Seaside Seashells die (#156095) and the sentiment with an Ornate Frames Die (#150664).

The Gold Trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack (#152475) was attached to the card, then the sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The starfish were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Sand & Sea Suite

Hello friends,

I knew as soon as I saw the Sand & Sea suite (#155980) it was a must have. I just love the way the die, stamp set and embossing folder all co-ordinate so beautifully.

Firstly I cut the Whisper White card (#106549) with the Seaside Shells Die (#156095). Then I stamped the individual shells from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set (#154368) onto the corresponding areas of the die-cut. Normally stamping is done before cutting with a die but in this case you must cut first then stamp. I used Blushing Bride ink (#147100), Seaside Spray ink (#150085), Highland Heather ink (#147103), So Saffron ink (#147109) and Pool Party ink (#147107) for the shells. I sponged the seaweed with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). Next I embossed this with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (#154309). It is easy to line up the image with the embossing folder.

I attached the die cut piece to the Subtles 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#153072). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) under each of the seashells to give a curved shape to the shells, and used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309) to glue the rest of the card.

The sentiment is also from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set and stamped with Balmy Blue ink (#147105). A die from the Stitched Rectangles (#151820) was used to cut the sentiment and this was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I am looking forward to playing with all the possibilities that can be achieved with this suite, which also includes designer series paper and embellishments. These products will be available in the January-June Mini Catalogue from 5th January.
