Butterfly Gala

Hello again friends,

Most of the products used for this card are retiring. There are still lots of products available and some great bargains, so check them out here - lesleyjendra.stampinup.net

The colours used are from the 2019-2021 In-Colors, so of course are retiring to make way for the next lot of In Colors. I coloured the background using the Blending Brushes (#153611) with Rococo Rose ink (#150080), Seaside Spray ink (#150085), Terracotta Tile ink (#150086) and Pretty Peacock ink (#150083). The flourish from the Beauty Abounds stamp set (#148726) was stamped on the background with VersaMark (#102283) and I heat embossed this with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109132), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then sprayed this card front with the Frost White Shimmer Paint (#147046) to give a lovely shimmer.

The butterflies are from the Butterfly Gala stamp set (#148580). These were stamped with Rococo Rose, Pretty Peacock and Seaside Spray inks. The co-ordinating Butterfly Duet Punch (#148523) was used to punch the butterflies. I added glimmer to the larger butterflies with the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897).

The sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink. The sentiment and the Pretty Peacock card (#150886) under the sentiment were cut with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (#149638). The cardfront was matted with Pretty Peacock card and the  base card is Basic White (#159228). The larger butterflies were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the small butterflies with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The embellishments are from the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment (#149498) and glued using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

The retiring products used on this card are -
Beauty Abounds stamp set
Butterfly Gala stamp set
Rococo Rose ink
Seaside spray ink
Terracotta Tile ink
Pretty Peacock ink
Pretty Peacock card

Dragonfly Garden Bundle

Hi again my stamping friends,

I love when you can mix and match a variety of products, which I have done on today’s cards.

The 2 cards are basically the same but on one I only put one piece of the white card on top of the Designer Series Paper, used a different ribbon and sentiment and used an embossing folder on one of the white pieces of card.

I cut a piece of Basic White card (#159228) with 2 of the Curvy Dies (#154319). On the 2nd card I dry embossed the white card with one of the Meadow Moments Embossing Folders (#153126).  The white card was then attached to the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper (#157613), which is part of the free product from Sale-a-bration. This is in a bundle with the Berry Blessings stamp set.

The DSP was attached to the Rich Razzleberry card (#119981). The ribbon on the 1st card is Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon (#144213). I coloured this with a Sponge Dauber (#133773) and Rich Razzleberry ink (#147091) before wrapping around the card. The Purple Posy ribbon from Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack (#152468) was used on the 2nd card.

Both sentiments are from the Many Mates stamp set (#152633) and stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink. I used the Stitched Nested Labels dies (#149638) to cut the sentiment and the Rich Razzleberry card under the sentiment. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430),
I stamped the dragonfly from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set (#154411) using VersaMark (#102283), sprinkled with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), then heat set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). The dragonfly was coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Rich Razzleberry (#154898) and Purple Posy (#154896), then punched with the Dragonflies Punch (#154240). I also punched another butterfly from Rich Razzleberry card. This was attached to the card and the coloured dragonfly was attached on top with Stampin Dimensionals. I slightly offset the dragonflies so you could see some of the colour from the bottom dragonfly. When I attach the dragonflies I usually only have the Dimensionals under the middle of the body, so you can curve the wings up slightly and it also allows you to see the coloured dragonfly underneath.

To finish the card I added some Pearl Basic Jewels (#144219).

Seashells 3D Embossing Folder

Hi everyone,

You can make a very easy card with the beautiful Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (#154309).

I dry embossed the Champagne Foil Sheet (#144748) with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder. This was attached to Cherry Cobbler card (#121681), then onto the Very Vanilla card (#106550).
I stamped the sentiment from the Many Messages stamp set (#154510) with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083). The “Happy Birthday” and “congratulations  are positioned together on the stamp, so instead of cutting them separately with the co-ordinating Messages Die #(#154422), I cut them with the Stitched Nested Labels dies (#149638). The smaller banners are also cut with the Nested Labels dies. The sentiment was then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).
I coloured the Pearl Basic Jewels (#144219) with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends (#154880) before attaching them to the card.

Enjoy your day!!

Zany Zebras

Hello,

The Zany Zebras stamp set (#152536) includes 3 very cute zebras which are just adorable. Here’s an easy card using 1 of the zebras.

The zebra and sentiment are from the same set and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Whisper White card (#106549). The circles were cut with the Layering Circles Dies (#151770) and the sentiment with a dies from the Stitched Nested Labels (#149638). Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) was used to matt the zebra and for the small “label” under the sentiment.. The Designer Series Paper is from the World Of Good Specialty Paper (#152491) and attached to the Whisper White base card. I coloured 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) using the Basic Black Stampin’ Blends (#154843) before attaching them to the card.
I used the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) to add shimmer to the Zebra. Not sure how visible it is in this photo.

Have a great day.

Stitched Stars Dies

Hello friends,

The Stitched Stars Dies (#150653) have been used to cut these stars. There is a great range of stars in this set, so there are many possibilities but I have just chosen 2 different dies for this card.

The card base and card front are Whisper White (#106549). I dry embossed the card front with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder (#153577) and this was attached to the Balmy Blue card (#147007).
The stars are cut from Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) and Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper (#153513). The top star was attached to the larger stars with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional (#144108).
I stamped the greeting from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set (#p153444) using VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This greeting and the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper were cut with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (#149638). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach this to the card then added the Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems (#153547).

Have a great day.

Tasteful Touches stamp set

Hello,

I usually like nice bright colours but recently I have enjoyed using some of the more subtle colours on my cards.

I have used Whisper White card (#106549) as the base card, card front and to stamp the flower and sentiment on to. The stamped leaves and the flower are from the Tasteful Touches stamp set (#c152562). I used Soft Sea Foam ink (#147104) for the leaves and Blushing Bride ink (#147100) for the flower. I fussy cut the flower and used the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) to add the sparkle to the flower. I cut the leaves using the Forever Flourishing Dies (#152714) from Soft Sea Foam card (#147012), then spritzed the leaves with the Frost White Shimmer Paint (#147046).The sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set was also stamped with Blushing Bride ink. This and the Champagne Foil Sheet (#144748) were both cut with Stitched Nested labels Dies (#149638). I used the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (#152718) to emboss the foil. The die-cut leaves were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the sentiment and flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#150457) were added to the card.

Have a great day & keep crafting!!

Painted Poppies

Hi and welcome,

Another gorgeous stamp set in the 2020 Mini Catalogue is Painted Poppies (#c151599).

I stamped the poppies with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Whisper White card (#106549) and coloured them with Real Red Stampin’ Blends Combo (#147935). The sentiment which is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) was stamped with Real Red ink (#147084). The sentiment, the Basic Black card (#121688) and the Real Red card (#106578) were cut with the Stitched Nested Labels (#149638) and these were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#146924) were added to the sentiment. The cardfront was matted with Basic Black card, then attached to the Whisper White Card. The detailed border along the bottom of the card was cut with a die from the Painted Labels Dies (#151605) using Real Red card and glued to the card with Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Have a great day.

Scrapbook pages

Hello and Happy New Year,

I am hoping this is a good start for the year - having done this double scrapbook page already today, as I am wanting to get much more scrapbooking done this year.

The 12”x12” Designer Series Paper for the background is from a retired set, but suited these pages. I always seem to have excess DSP, which I find great for scrapbooking. The frames around the small photos were cut and embossed with the Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folders (#152325). I used Seaside Spray card (#150889) and matted them with Night Of Navy card (#106577). I cut the larger frames using the Paper Trimmer (#152392), then embossed the frames with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder (#152320). The fish along the bottom of the page were cut with a die from Under The Sea Dies (#146334). I used Night Of Navy card and I attached this to a piece of Whisper White card (#106549) before attaching it to the background. I cut the tree from Silver Foil Sheet (#132178) using the Sweet Silhouettes Dies (#149541). The seaweed die is also found in the Under The Sea dies. The journaling was cut with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (#149638). The boats from Sailing Home stamp set (#c149457) were stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110) and Seaside Spray ink (#150085) and cut with the Smooth Sailing Dies (#149576).

Hope it is a great year for you.

Sympathy Card

Hi Ladies & guys,

I needed a Sympathy card so I have used the Cross Of Hope Dies (#145654) and the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder (#151823), and both of these represent the person that this card is for.

I used a full sheet of the Shimmery White card (#121717) and folded it in half. I embossed a smaller piece of Shimmery White card with the Country Floral 3D embossing folder and I matted this with Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (#149638) to cut the Gold & white card for sentiment and the pieces under the cross. The cross was cut with dies from the Cross Of Hope Dies and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment is from the Painted Glass stamp set (#c151243) and stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The Shimmery White card has a lovely shimmer however I added extra shimmer to the embossed floral card using Frost White Shimmer Paint (#147046).

Have a great day.

Good Morning Magnolia & Shimmery White Embossing Paste

Hi,

A pretty card today using the small flower from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set (#149298).

The base card and card front are Whisper White (#106549). I applied the Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645) to the card front using one of the masks from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks (#144103) and a Palette Knife (#142808). I cut the Petal Pink Vellum from the Perennial Essence 12”x12” Vellum cardstock (#149101), using a Stitched Nested Label (#149638). I then splattered it with the Dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends (#144573). The flowers were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), then heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I added the colour with Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends (#146871) and Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends (#144574). The ribbon is Whisper White 5/8” Flax Ribbon (#148764). “Enjoy Today” is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and also Gold Embossed. The die to cut this is from the Merry Christmas Dies (#147912). The card was finished with the Petal Pink sequins from the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins (#146933). The sentiment and the flower on the bottom left were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Enjoy your day.
