Beautiful Bunch

Hello,

The Timeless Elegance DSP has such a variety of beautiful papers and I have used them on today's card.

I used Very Vanilla card (#106550) for the base and the other card is Watermelon Wonder (#138341). Happy Birthday from the Tag Talk stamp set (#c134252, #w134249) was stamped with Archival Basic Black ink (#140931) and punched with the Label Bracket punch (#132153). I also punched a piece of the Watermelon Wonder card, cut it in half then taped it to the sentiment. The flower is from the Beautiful Bunch stamp set (#134282) and I used the Watermelon Wonder ink (#138323) to stamp this. The co-ordinating punch is the Fun Flower punch (#133785). I added one of the beautiful Winter Wonderland Embellishments (#139621) to the flower.

Papillon Potpourri

Hello,

A simple card with butterflies. The small butterflies have been stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and White Embossing powder (#109132). 

The larger butterfly is stamped with Pacific Point ink (#126951). I stamped this butterfly twice - once on to the card and the other onto another piece of card and punched it with the Elegant Butterfly punch (#127526) then placed it over the one on the card. Of course I used Stampin' Dimensionals for this. I added 3 Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to the butterfly. These butterflies are from the Papillion Potpourri stamp set (#c123759, #w132058). Happy Birthday is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167) and was also stamped with Pacific Point ink. The Cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Pacific Point (#116202).

Serene Silhouettes

Hi,

The image on this card is from the Serene Silhouettes stamp set (#c127324, #w132073).

After making this card I thought it needed something else, so added the butterflies.

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549), Basic Black (#121688), Crushed Curry (#131288) and Old Olive DSP from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack (#138437). Happy Birthday from Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167) is stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#131173). The plant is inked with Stampin' Write Markers, using Old Olive (#100079) and Crushed Curry (#131901). The butterflies from Papillion Potpourri stamp set (#c123759, #w132058) have been stamped with Crushed Curry ink on Crushed Curry card, then punched with the Bitty Butterfly punch (#129406).

The corners of the Basic Black and Whisper White card were punched with the reverse punch on the Envelope Punch Board (#133774). The black card was attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Boys Will Be Boys

Hello,

These cute parachutes are part of the Boys Will Be Boys stamp set (#c134138, #w134135).

I used the Work of Art stamp set (#c134114, #134111) to stamp the "paint smear" with Daffodil Delight ink (#126944) onto the Whisper White card (#106549). Then I stamped the parachutes with Pacific Point (#126951), Real Red (#126949) and Cucumber Crush (#138234) . I stamped the parachutes again onto Pacific Point card (#116202), Real Red card (#106578) and Cucumber Crush (#138342) using the Archival Basic Black ink (#140931) on each of these cards. These were hand cut and attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Happy Birthday is also from Boys will Be Boys set.

Vintage Leaves

Hello,

I have used the masking technique when stamping the leaves from the Vintage Leaves stamp set (#p138802).

The leaves were stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#126975) and then I added some glitter to the leaves using Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter (#133751). To get this glitter stick to the card I used the 2-way glue pen (#100425). Happy Birthday is from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (#c126707, #w132070) and I heat embossed this with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129). I used the 5/8" Gold Satin Ribbon (#134547).   I cut around the leaves, then attached this card to the base card - both are Whisper White (#106549). I was really pleased with the finished card - another simple but nice card.

Today's tip: To do the masking technique, stamp the image on the card. Then stamp again on a piece of note paper ( post it notes work well) and cut this image just inside the lines. This becomes your mask. This mask is placed over the stamped image on the card. Then stamp the next image on the card and this will give the layered look.

Awesomely Artistic

Hello,

Awesomely Artistic (#c139950, #w138694) is the stamp set I chose for today's card.

The flowers were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Emboss Powder (#122949) which was then heat set. I cut this with the Deco Labels Collection Framelits (#130102) and sponged the edges with Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966). Happy Birthday from Tag Talk (#c134249, #w134249) was also heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler, then punched with the Label Bracket (#132153). The dragonfly was stamped with the Archival Basic Black ink (#140931). The Cardstock is Whisper White (#106549), Cherry Cobbler (#121681) and Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper (#138444). I added White Perfect Accents (#138416) to the white base card.

Everything Eleanor

Hello,

When a new catalogue arrives we are all so excited about all the new products and can't wait to design new cards etc. However there are still all those great products in the annual catalogue so today I am using Everything Eleanor (#c124164, #w131987) which is an old favourite.

All the images are from Everything Eleanor except the sentiment which is in the Petite Pairs stamp set (#c122497, #w128706). The inks are Pink Pirouette (#126956) and Rose Red (#126954). The Cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Rose Red (#108613). I added some Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter (#133751) to the flowers and the flourish (hopefully it shows up on the photo) by applying glue from the 2-way Glue Pen, then sprinkling the glitter onto the card. Remove the excess glitter and allow to dry. After hand cutting the flowers they were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The decorative edge on the white card was achieved by using the Small Scallop Stampin' Trimmer Rotary Cutting Blade (#129410).
