The first time I saw Stampin' Up! Products demonstrated at a craft show, Two Step Stamping was being demonstrated and I was so impressed how easily a beautiful image could be stamped. I had never really used stamps before and now I had seen how you could make beautiful cards using stamps. The Stippled Blossom stamp set (#c126747, #w132076) is a Two Step set and I could resist using it again today.
I stamped on the Whisper White card (#106549), using Wisteria Wonder ink (#126985) for the base of the larger flower and then Elegant Eggplant (#126969) for the overlying image. The small flowers are stamped with Rose Red. However, for these I inked the base stamp with Rose Red (#126954) then "stamped off" twice on scrap paper, before stamping on the card to give a lighter colour. The top layer was also using Rose Red. The leaves are stamped with Pear Pizzaz (#131180). After all the stamping was done I embossed the Whisper White using the Perfect Polka Dots folder (#117335). I also stamped an extra flower and cut it out before attaching on top of the flower in the right hand corner using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). For You is from the Tag Talk stamp set (#c134252, #w134249). The punch is the coordinating Label Bracket (#132152). I also punched Rose Red card twice (#108613), cut it in half and taped it to the punched image and attached it to the card with Dimensionals. The other card stock is Wisteria Wonder (#124389) and Elegant Eggplant (#126969). I added Rose Red Candy dots from the Regals collection (#130932) to the centre of the small flowers.
I hope you like the card.
Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.
