I am hoping this is a good start for the year - having done this double scrapbook page already today, as I am wanting to get much more scrapbooking done this year.
The 12”x12” Designer Series Paper for the background is from a retired set, but suited these pages. I always seem to have excess DSP, which I find great for scrapbooking. The frames around the small photos were cut and embossed with the Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folders (#152325). I used Seaside Spray card (#150889) and matted them with Night Of Navy card (#106577). I cut the larger frames using the Paper Trimmer (#152392), then embossed the frames with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder (#152320). The fish along the bottom of the page were cut with a die from Under The Sea Dies (#146334). I used Night Of Navy card and I attached this to a piece of Whisper White card (#106549) before attaching it to the background. I cut the tree from Silver Foil Sheet (#132178) using the Sweet Silhouettes Dies (#149541). The seaweed die is also found in the Under The Sea dies. The journaling was cut with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (#149638). The boats from Sailing Home stamp set (#c149457) were stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110) and Seaside Spray ink (#150085) and cut with the Smooth Sailing Dies (#149576).
Hope it is a great year for you.
Great memories on those pages!
