I have just received the Honey Bee Bundle (#c153792) and had to immediately make a cake with it. We have a couple of bee hives so was excited when this set was in the catalogue. There is also Designer Series Paper - Golden Honey Specialty DSP (#152311) which is part of Sale-a-bration and co-ordinates with this bundle, however I haven’t used it on this card.
The cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and Basic Black (#121688). I used Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) for the hexagons, Vellum (#106584) for the bee and I added this bee to a bee cut from Daffodil Delight card (#121680). All the images are from the Honey Bee stamp set (#c151527). For the flowers and leaves I applied Crushed Curry and Old Olive from the Regals Stampin’ Write Markers (#147155) before stamping. The bee was stamped with Jet Black StazOn ink (#101406). I coloured the body of the bee with Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker as well as making the black a bit darker on the body using the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker (#100082). I attached the stamped bee to a bee cut from Daffodil Delight card using Mini Glue Dots (#103683) then the bee was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I glued the flowers and hexagons with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The card front was embossed with the Stone 3D embossing folder, part of the Power Of Hope Bundle (#152318) from Sale-a-bration. The sentiment was cut with a Stitched So Sweetly die (#151690), then matted with Basic Black card. The Detailed Bee Dies (#151526) were used to cut the bee, hexagons and flowers. The ribbon is Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon (#144146).
Enjoy whatever you are doing today - hopefully something crafty!!
Cute!
