Beautiful Butterflies

 Hi friends,

The inspiration for this card front is from the Brushed Gold cards which are no longer available.

I lightly wiped the VersaMark pad (#102283) down the top area of the Very Vanilla card (#166785), then sprinkled the Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I matted the card front with Basic Black card (#121688) and attached it to the Very Vanilla base card.

The butterflies were cut with the Beautiful Butterflies dies (#164614), using Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and Basic Black card. I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add glimmer to the black butterfly. The black butterfly was attached to the gold butterfly with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). I used Stamping Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the gold butterfly to the card.

“Thinking Of You” from Beautiful Motifs stamp set (#165198) was also Gold heat embossed. A Beautiful Butterflies die was used to cut the sentiment.

The embellishments are from the Traditional Sparkling Sequins (#165875).

Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper

 Hi friends,

The Designer Series Paper used on this card is the Perennial Lavender DSP (#162593).

The DSP for the card front and the squares are matted with Gorgeous Grape card (#147011). The card front was taped to Basic White base card (#166781) and the squares were taped to the card front.

The butterflies were cut with the Beautiful Butterflies dies (#164614) using Fresh Freesia card (#155614), Blackberry Bliss card (#133682) and Berry Burst card (#144249). I added some glimmer to the butterflies with the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).

“Congratulations” from the More Messages stamp set (#165471) was stamped with Berry Burst ink (#147143) and cut with the More Messages die (#165472).

The sentiment & butterflies were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and I added the embellishments from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems (#165615) to each butterfly.

Elements Of Text

 Hello crafty friends,

The Elements Of Text Stamp set (#164774) is great for stamping backgrounds with the text and splotches images.

Firstly I blended the Coastal Cabana ink (#147097) with a Blending Brush (#153611) onto Basic White cardstock (#159228). I then stamped the text with VersaMark (#102283), added White powder from the Wow! Basics Embossing Powder (#165679), then set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then tore the right side of the card for a jagged edge.

I dry embossed another piece of Basic White cardstock with the Starstruck Embossing Folder (this was part of Sale-a-bration). I matted this with Coastal Cabana card (#131302) and attached it to the Basic White base card.

The Silver Foil sheet (#163387) was used for the butterfly which was cut with a Beautiful Butterflies die (#164614). The body of the butterfly is cut separately so this was attached to the butterfly with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The butterfly was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I usually attach the butterflies under the body only so the wings can be lifted up for a nice effect.

The sentiment from the Sketched Butterfly stamp set (#163490) was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink and cut with an Around It All die (#164725). This was also attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and then I added the Opal Rounds Assortment gems (#163298) to finish the card.

The frame die from the die set was used to cut this stamped image as well as the Silver Foil (#163387) for the frame

“Happy Birthday” from the Simply Said stamp set (#163756) was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138) and cut with a Beautiful Butterflies die (#164614).

The Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (#163303) was matted with Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) and attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The sentiment, frame and lighthouse were all attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper

 Hi friends,

In both the Annual (P 22) and Mini (P12) Catalogues you will find a range of card templates which are great for inspiration. They can be copied exactly or you can change them to suit what you want. I have made some slight variations. I used hexagons instead of rectangles. This design can be found in the Annual catalogue and is the 6th design on the top row of templates.

I used the Heartfelt Hexagon punch (#162888) to punch the 3 colours from the Bloom Impressions 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#164944), a free Sale-a-bration product with a $100 order (in Australia).

I applied the Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645) using a Palette Knife (#142808), to a piece of Basic White card (#159228). I allowed this to dry before dry embossing it with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder (#164695). You can use the Heat Tool (#129056) to fasten the drying. I then matted this card with Basic Black card (#121688) and attached it to the Basic White base card.

The butterflies were cut using a die from the Beautiful Butterflies dies. These are part of the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder (#164614). I used Basic Black card for the butterflies and I attached them to the DSP with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set (#162283) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used Gold from the Wow! Metallic Embossing Powder (#165678) which was set with the Heat Tool. The circle was cut with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183)

The hexagons were attached to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Low Profile Dots (#164658) were added to each of the butterflies.
