Forever Blossoms

HI friends,

Here’s another sneak peak from the 2020 Mini Catalogue. I have used the Forever Blossoms Bundle (#c153781) which consists of Forever Blossoms stamp set (#151457) and the Cherry Blossoms Dies (#151456).

I stamped the base card with the Birch Background stamp (#149256) using Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). I stamped it off first to give an even softer image. I embossed a piece of Vellum Cardstock (#106584) with the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder (#151474), then attached it to a piece of Soft Sea Foam card (#147012). The ribbon is from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack (#149485). The flower image from the Forever Blossoms stamp set was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The flowers were coloured with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Combo (#144603) and the leaves with Soft Sea Foam Stampin’Blends Combo (#148059). The die from Cherry Blossoms dies  cut the floral image, then this was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Happy Birthday is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) and stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink. One of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (#151690) was used to cut the greeting. Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#150457) were added to the card.

The new mini catalogue is available tomorrow (3rd January).

Free As A Bird

Hello again,

The beautiful birds from the Free As A Bird stamp set (#c149468) was another image I had amongst a lot of other unused stamped images which I came across in my clean up the other day.

The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Whisper White card (#106549). The Stampin’ Blends used to colour this image are Balmy Blue Combo (#148544), Daffodil Delight Combo (#144603), Flirty Flamingo combo (#147278), Purple Posy combo (#149566), Light Old Olive (#144574), Dark Real Red (#147934) and Light Crumb Cake (#144582). This image was fussy cut and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Whisper White cardfront was stamped with the Birch Background stamp (#c149256) using Crumb Cake ink (#121685). “Birthday” is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set (#c151240) and stamped with Real Red ink (#147084). This image is actually “happy birthday” but I wasn’t wanting to stamp that, so when I inked the stamp I covered the word happy to avoid getting ink on it. I removed the paper before stamping and was able to stamp Birthday without a problem. A post it note is great for doing this. “Happy” is cut with a die from the Merry Christmas To All Dies (#147912) from the Real Red Glimmer Paper (#150427) and glued to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The base card is Real Red (#106578).

Have a great day.

Birch & Daisy Lane

Hi everyone,

The Daisy Lane stamp set (#c149325) is such a popular set and it makes such beautiful cards. I have used it again today.

The base card is Lovely Lipstick (#146993) and the cardfront is Whisper White (#106549). I stamped the Birch Background stamp (#c149256) on the bottom 2/3’s of the white card. I used Crumb Cake ink (#147116) for this. The greeting is from the Painted Glass stamp set (#c148220) and stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink (#147140), the corners of the cardfront were punched with the Detailed Trio Punch (#146320). The daisies were stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink and punched with the Medium Daisy Punch (#149517). Each flower consists of 2 daisies glued together with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). The Designer Elements (#149586) were added to each of the flower centres. These are adhesive backed metallic accents in 3 colours - antique copper, antique gold and antique silver. I used the silver ones. The leaves were stamped with Call Me Clover ink (#147139), then fussy cut. The middle daisy was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Enjoy your day.
