Positive Thoughts and Nature’s Thoughts

Hi all,

I love the subtleness of this card, using Petal Pink and Champagne Foil.

The Very Vanilla card front (#106550) was embossed with the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder (#151474), then I sponged it with Petal Pink ink (#147108). A piece of the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper (#151192) was attached to the embossed card. This was then attached to the Petal Pink card (#147009) and the Rococo Rose 1/2”Gathered Ribbon (#149587) was wrapped around the card. The base card is also Very Vanilla. The sentiment from Positive Thoughts stamp set (#151490) was stamped with Petal Pink ink, then cut with a die from the Painted Labels dies (#151605). I cut the feathers and fern leaves from Champagne Foil Sheet (#144748) using the Nature’s Thoughts Dies (#153586). The sentiment and feathers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the leaves with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Fanciful Fragrance and Stampin’ Blends

Hello,

I hope you all had a Happy Easter despite the many restrictions and not being able to see family as you would normally.

For today’s card I used the same stamped image as yesterdays, but made a completely different card.

The size of the finished card is 13cm x13cm. I used Whisper White card (#106549) and Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). I used the Stamparatus (#148187) to stamp the 4 images from Fanciful Fragrance stamp set (#149281), using Crumb Cake ink (#147116). The Stampin’ Blends used to colour the images are Dark Petal Pink (#146871), Light Calypso Coral (#144042),  Purple Posy combo (#149566), Light Pool Party (#144595), Dark Sea Foam (#148058) and Dark So Saffron (#149556). I used the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder (#151474) and then I sponged with a dauber with the retired Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink. The sentiment is from the Positive Thoughts stamp set (#151490) and stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129). After setting with the Heat Tool (#129056) it was cut with a Layering Circle Die (#141705), then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Fanciful Fragrance

Hi everyone,

When new products arrive it is easy to forget some of the products in the annual catalogue, so today I am using the Fanciful Fragrance stamp set (#c149281), but I have combined it with an embossing folder from the current mini catalogue.

I was wanting a vintage look for this card and thought the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder (#151474) was perfect. After embossing the Very Vanilla card (#106550), I sponged Crumb Cake ink (#147116) which highlighted the embossed areas. The perfume bottles from the Fanciful Fragrance stamp set were stamped with Soft Suede ink (#147115) then fussy cut. “Happy Birthday” from Peaceful Moments stamp set (#c151595) was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink (#150083). This card was attached to Pretty Peacock card (#150886). The base card is also Pretty Peacock. The photo doesn’t show it’s real colour for some odd reason. The Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim (#149593) was coloured with Crumb Cake ink using a Sponge Dauber (#133773). Pretty Peacock rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones (#149494) finished off the card.

Music From The Heart

Hi again,

I guess we all tend to get a new product, use it for a while then sometimes forget about it when new products come out. I think this is what I did with the Pigment Sprinkles (#149663), but I starting using them a couple of weeks ago and am loving playing with them again. One thing I love about them is you never get the same results twice.

There are 6 colours of sprinkles in the box - Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody and Melon Mambo. You can use one or a combination of colours. Even when using just one colour you can get other colours appear once water is added to the sprinkles. I used Bermuda Bay Sprinkles on the Whisper White (#106549) background for this card. After spraying it with water and drying it with the Heat Tool (#129056), I then embossed this card with the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder (#151474). This was the spritzed with Frost White Shimmer Paint (#147046) to give it a lovely shimmer. Happy Birthday and the 2 images were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and the 2 images were fussy cut. These are all from the Music From The Heart stamp set (#151674). The Bermuda Bay card (#131286) was used for the base, the strip under the sentiment and the circle. The circle was cut with a Layering Circles Die (#141705). Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the images to the card and I added Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#150457).

Forever Blossoms Bundle

Hello again,

The Forever Blossoms Bundle (#153781) is another beautiful set from the 2020 Mini Catalogue and I used it for today’s card.

The base card is Grapefruit Grove (#146995) and the cardfront is Whisper White (#106549). I embossed this with the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder (#151474). The flowers and leaves are from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set (#c151457). The flowers were stamped with Grapefruit Grove ink (#147142) and the leaves with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104). Pear Pizzaz card (#131290) was used for the “branch” and this as well as the flowers and leaves were cut with Cherry Blossoms Dies (#151456). “Happy Birthday” is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) and stamped with Grapefruit Grove ink. The Ornate Frames Dies (#150664) cut the sentiment. The adhesives used are Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309), Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Some shimmer was added to the flowers with the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) and the Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#151193) were added to the flowers and sentiment.

Forever Blossoms

HI friends,

Here’s another sneak peak from the 2020 Mini Catalogue. I have used the Forever Blossoms Bundle (#c153781) which consists of Forever Blossoms stamp set (#151457) and the Cherry Blossoms Dies (#151456).

I stamped the base card with the Birch Background stamp (#149256) using Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). I stamped it off first to give an even softer image. I embossed a piece of Vellum Cardstock (#106584) with the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder (#151474), then attached it to a piece of Soft Sea Foam card (#147012). The ribbon is from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack (#149485). The flower image from the Forever Blossoms stamp set was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The flowers were coloured with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Combo (#144603) and the leaves with Soft Sea Foam Stampin’Blends Combo (#148059). The die from Cherry Blossoms dies  cut the floral image, then this was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Happy Birthday is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) and stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink. One of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (#151690) was used to cut the greeting. Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#150457) were added to the card.

The new mini catalogue is available tomorrow (3rd January).
