Blessings Of Home

Hello stamping friends,

A pretty card using the beautiful floral image from the Blessings Of Home stamp set (#157930).

I stamped this image with Tuxedo Black memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). The Stampin’ Blends to colour this are Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Pale Papaya (#155519), Balmy Blue (#154830), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Fresh Freesia (#155518) and Granny Apple Green (#154885). This was then cut with a die from the Flowers Of Home (#157938).

The background is the Blushing Bride from the Brushstrokes 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159250). I used the Stitched Greenery Die (#155451) for the stitched effect. This paper was matted with Basic Black card (#121688), then attached to the beautiful Iridescent Foil from the Rose Gold 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159139). This foil picks up all the colours of the rainbow which makes it hard to photograph. The base card is Basic White.

The flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves were cut from the same Rose Gold Foil which had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) attached to the back and I used the Flowers Of Home dies.

The sentiment, also from the Blessings Of Home stamp set was stamped with Tuxedo Black memento ink and cut with a Sending Die (#159271). The embellishments are from the Fine Sparkle Adhesive-backed Gems (#159967).

TIP: If you don’t want to “waste” your specialty paper when using them to matt the card, as I have done on this card, you can cut a piece out of the centre which can’t  be seen once the other card is attached.

Artisan Additions dies

Hi & welcome,

I do love dies and I have used 3 different sets on this card. There are many that co-ordinate with stamp sets and there are others that don’t have a stamp set so are very versatile.

The Basic White card (#159228) was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), then cut with a die from the Artisan Additions Dies (#159172). This was attached to the Soft Succulent from the Brushstroke 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159250. This was attached to the Basic White base card.

The butterflies were cut with the Brilliant Wings Dies (#155523). I used Pale Papaya card (#155669) for the base and Copper Foil (#142020) for the detailed butterfly. I attached the butterfly together with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and taped it to the card.

“Happy Birthday” is from my favourite sentiment stamp set - Go To Greetings (#158763). I stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Copper Stampin’ Embossing Powder (#155555) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The sentiment and Gold Foil banner underneath were cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies (#159183) and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I added the Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems (#159967) to the centre of the butterfly.

Rings Of Love Designer Series Paper

Hi my stamping friends,

Another sale-a-bration product is the Rings Of Love 12”X12” Designer Series Paper (#159939) and that is where you will find these cute little birds.

This DSP and the Crushed Curry card (#131288) were cut with the Deckled Rectangles dies (#159173). I used the Night Of Navy from the Brushstoke 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159250) for the card front. I wrapped the Metallic Mesh Ribbon (#153550) around the card front, then attached it to the Basic White card base (#159228).

“Hello” is from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) and stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110). This was also cut with a Deckled Rectangle die. The die I used was too long for this sentiment so when I cut the sentiment, I repositioned the die to cut it shorter as shown.

I often do this when the die is larger than I need.

The sentiment was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and a retired embellishment from the Holiday Rhinestones was added.

Happy Hedgehogs stamp set

Hello friends,

Anyone who knows me will know that I love flowers and most of my cards have flowers on them. I have decided I should get out of my comfort zone occasionally, so here I have chosen the cute Happy Hedgehogs stamp set (#157983) for all the images on this card.

I used Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and coloured the images with Stampin’ Blends - Daffodil Delight (#154883), Sweet Sorbet (#159224), Granny Apple Green (#154885), Balmy Blue (#154830), Crumb Cake (#154882), Ivory (#154922), Natural Tones - Light -1000 (#159465), Medium - 800 (#159463) & Calypso Coral (#154881). “Hello” was stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink (#159216) and cut with a Seasonal Labels die (#156299). To make this label smaller I cut it with the die, then re-positioned it to cut again.

I cut the Soft Succulent from the Brushstrokes 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159250) with one of the Picture This dies (#155559). This was placed on top of the Distressed Gold 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159237), then attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The fussy cut images and sentiment were all attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).
